Good morning!
I have no clue what went on in Hatertown over the weekend. I was so busy with my nephew that I had precious little time to post, although I did manage to take a peek at some wonderful RT photos -- those lucky stiffs!
The birthday celebration was a big success! DN loved his gun but was a little disappointed when he didn't get to fire it. DH took him to the range but there was a cowboy show going on so no one was allowed to shoot. They stayed for most of the day and watched the show and DN enjoyed it, but I think he would rather have had the opportunity to try out his new gun. His dad fell in love it, too, and I have a sneaking suspicion that he'll try to monopolize it -- lol!
We had to take DN home yesterday -- we met his parents at a half way point. We had dinner together, which was very nice, but by the time we got home last night I had a terrible migraine headache. I'm so glad that I'll be able to get back into a routine, but I have to confess -- I really enjoyed my nephew's company. He's a great kid and a true guardian angel for his autistic brother. I cried at their reunion when his brother hugged him then jumped up on his back and squeezed his neck. It was so touching. :+
It's back on the elliptical for me today. I haven't done a workout in ages, other than a few good stretches. And my diet
. I don't even want to go there. It's time to clean it up!
August, Johnny wants me to tell you that he has all of his teeth and a pearly white smile to boot -- LMAO! http://planetsmilies.net/grinning-smiley-1652.gif
Oh hey, I don't have time for personals right now. I need to call my friend, Nancy, the one with breast cancer. she had a chemo treatment last week and I want to check on her and see how she's doing. I also have work to do around here, and a workout. I'll BB after I get a few things accomplished:*
