HATE this weather, 4/12

Hey haters. What, nobody started this today? Ya'll must be in bed b/c it is raining here, crappy weather.

Don't have much time to post but just checking in.

Last night I did the 53 min pre-mix from ME and I didn't finish it until 9:30. I was up til 11:00 and then got up at 5:15 this morning. This is getting ridiculous.

Well, I'm super busy but I'll check in during lunch.

High 5's for doing ME last night!! I haven't done that one yet. Do you like it better than Power Hour? Don't 'cha just love premixes!?!?:D I hardly ever do a workout as is. I did the up only PUB premix last night and that seemed perfectly adequate to me. I probably would've found the whole workout tedious and would've quit half way through:eek:.

I have PLB and a segment form CM today and again, I'll do a premix. I didn't do the bonus cardio last night so I might tack that on as well.

I better get going. DH wants to go out to dinner tonight so I can't afford to procrastinate. If I don't do the workout now I know I won't feel like doing it after dinner.

ETA a big hello to Robin!! No, I didn't hear from Nancy last night. DH and I are probably going to call them this evening if I don't hear from her today.

Robin, I'm telling you, premixes are the way to go! I sure felt like I got an ample workout last night. Sometimes I think that less really IS more;) .

Dana, listen to Robin -- get the neighbor kid to sit with your kids for an hour while you workout! It's GENIUS!! I knew we had Robin around here for a reason:D
 
Hey Dana, have you ever considered a babysitter so you can workout. When Tristan was a little guy, I hired the 13 year old girl across the street to stay with him every afternoon while I went running. It wasn't long, so I wasn't paying a lot. No way I could exercise that late, get to bed and then get up early for work.

I forgot about a meeting I have for church this evening, so I don't think I'll have time for a full fledged workout when I get home from work. I'll do some weight work, probably chest, then tack on as much cardio as I can.

Michele, did you get your project done? Did you hear from Nancy? Still praying here.

Hi Girls!

I HATE this weather too!!:( It's DD's spring break and it's been cloudy, flurrying or rain, and cold the whole time. Today is going to be in the 40's, windy, dark , chance of rain.....this weekend....SNOW!!! :eek: ;(
I need some sun to brighten my mood !!!

This morning's workout was PLB (on the rotation) but I did leg/glute floorwork from Legs & Glutes and Butts & Guts, plus coremax 1.
It was a good workout.

I agree Michele. I love the premixes too!

August - sounds like you have the perfect weekend coming up!!!! I need a pj weekend.

Well Robin, I can't go w/your idea of the babysitter b/c I have no neighbor on my left side, on my right side, I don't like those neighbors. Then across the road we have 2 neighbors. One is a family of Amish folks (don't think my boys would enjoy playing with them b/c the children speak dutch) and the other neighbors are weirdos!!! I think I mentioned that the neighbor came over when we first moved in and brought me A 1/2 EATEN JAR OF THAT PB & JELLY MIXTURE b/c they didn't like it. GROSS!!!

Michele - I like ME way better then PH. Why you ask? Lower Body is broken up into 3 segments and I prefer that then doing all the LB at one time. It is about 10 minutes longer then PH. ME has a lot of leg presses and I actually like leg presses.

Becky - your workout looks good! :)

Jen - I bought a SB pizza last night. The SB products were 2/$5 so I got that and a Kung Pao Chicken dinner. I bought another LC BBQ pizza and had that today again.

Here's a question for you all. First off I am weird so you may think nothing of my question. And second of all, I am an animal lover so I don't want to offend anyone. OK - we are having luncheon next week. One of my co-workers is telling us about this salad she is making. Usually, she never brings in anything she makes since she prefers not to cook or bake. She has 3 cats and all of her stuff is always full of cat hair. Her bags, clothes, etc. And one time she brought in cake for a party and while she was cutting it up, each time she would cut a slice, she would put it on the plate (sliding it onto the plate w/her finger, then lick the icing off her finger, and touch another piece). I was so grossed out. So I'm just picturing her making this salad, picking at the ingredients and then licking her fingers and continuing cooking, with her cats standing on the counter. I know that I sound mean, I don't mean to. I have a problem eating things from people that I don't know (like at luncheons or picnics) b/c I think oh God what if they have a filty house and who knows what I'm eating.. I am very clean when it comes to cooking. I never use the same spoon that I am cooking with to taste the food - that is just gross. And I wash my hands constantly. So my question is - how do I decline the salad????? She is obnoxious and will want to know why????? Also, this is REALLY GROSS. I used to work at a factory about 12 years ago, and talk about weirdos! This one lady was making potato salad for her son's wedding reception and she made it in her bathtub!!!! How is that for gross!!!!

Today's workout calls for Pure Strength Legs & Abs and a 20 min run. I don't run so I did a 2 mile walk. Only takes me 25 min so I'm chalking that up to the running. HA!!!

It's a luncheon, so there will be other things to pick from, so can't you just fill up on other things and skip whatever it is she brings in ??

Everything I say is true - see the weirdos that I encounter in my life!!! HA! I could tell you all sorts of stuff - I have many quite entertaining stories!!! HA! From horrible blind dates, weirdos at previous jobs, the many kooks I met when I was in my partying stage, etc.

Although I'm only on my 4th day of this rotation, I"ve already picked my next rotation. Upper Body Bliss.
 
I'm going to wait and see what rotation Cathe offers for May first but I like Upper body Bliss too as a possibility. Also one of Fitness Freaks...think it's called Getting Ready for Summer. It emphasizes upperbody and cardio too.:7

Im not an animal lover, im not an animal hater either, My daughter feeds her dog off a fork and i get grossed half the time im there i make sure i wash my plates and utensiles before i eat


Can anyone tell me about PreMixes I dont understand
remember im the one who doesnt watch tv and barely can figure out DVD's
My last dvd player, i thought it was broken so i bought a new one, found out i just didnt know how to use it
 
Good evening haters! I was feeling really tired & cranky when I got home from work, just so busy & stressful at work right now. When you work on commission it also makes you care a lot about your business & when your business is mortgages, a lot depends on the market & has nothing to do with you at all.

Anyway, I didn't want to workout but I did & now I feel wonderful & so glad I made myself workout, sweating really does do a lot for your mood!

Tammy- Yeah, I didn't think about the whole having a family to cook for when you get home, that is one thing about me-it's just me & the cats so I can be as selfish with my time as I want. There is NO WAY I could get up early to workout either, just don't have it in me. Oh, I did Cindy's ultimate fat burner & 2 10 minute hit the spots workouts tonight. I was thinking about you when doing Cindy's w/o, I bet you would like it. www.ultrafitnutrition.com - check it out- it's an awesome 45 minute cardio interval workout, Cindy is in awesome shape!

August- I LOVE YOUR PLAN...

A) Be in pajamas and play with Nintendo DS Lite
B) Be in pajamas and watch TV
C) Be in pajamas and hang out in Hatesville (okay, I forgot the new name again already)
D) Anyway, be in pajamas

That sounds like a perfect weekend to me!! :) This weekend is "mom's weekend" at my sisters school. So my mom is heading over there tomorrow during the day & staying through Sunday afternoon. So, I am driving over to meet them Saturday for dinner & to hang out for a bit. My mom works at the school so she's been off work all week, I am so jealous. I was thinking of spending the night too but I think I'd rather drive home & be able to sleep in a bit on Sunday & not have to wake up & drive back.

Dana- Oh, I can't wait to see what you think about the south beach pizza- I think they are awesome! Actually that is what I'm going to have for dinner tonight- which ones did you get? They have cheese, pepperoni, deluxe, and a chicken one. I think the deluxe & pepperoni is my fav but I like them all.

Michele- Have you heard from your friend yet?

Robin- Sounds like you have a busy evening, hope the church meeting goes well.

Mariah- What workouts of Cathes do you have? If you go to the main menu instead of clicking on "play program" or "chapters" go down to the "premix" selection- it is shorter/longer/different versions of the chapters of the workout. If you tell me which ones you have I could probably give you an idea of one of the premixes on the dvd.

Okay my hater friends, I am going to go hunt for some food. I will BBL before going to bed tonight. I am working 7:30-1:30 tomorrow & taking off a little early to run some errands since I won't be able to get much done on Saturday besides working out & a little cleaning before heading to my sister's.
