Hi!
I'm so sorry to not have gotten online yesterday. There are still four more grueling hours until we can go pick up Chami and Lulu. http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/sigh.gif
But I'm happy to say that Mooch and Yoyo did a great job with their surgeries and are back at home resting. http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/yay.gif
When we went to pick up Mooch and Yoyo at the vet's yesterday, man almighty were they yelping and trying like mad to get out of their carriers! I'd never seen them like that. They were still a little high from the medicines, but not high enough to let us know that they were absolutely NOT going to wear those e-collars. Mooch was doing some scary somersaults in the carrier. We had the vet take them off since they really seemed to rather hurt themselves rather than to uh, look foolish.

When we got home, Mooch had gotten over his anger and was then crying and staggering and wanting very much to be touched and caressed, and I was all but too happy to do that for him. He was purring so loudly, and he was obviously so relieved to be home.
I fed him and he ate like a monster. Then I just caressed him and made him feel comfy and lathered him in attention and love. He wouldn't let me go more than a foot away from him without kind of freaking out.
So we just relaxed on the sofa together.....until the medicine wore off. And then Mooch was ready to lick. Of course every time he tried to lick, I'd have to prevent him from it. He was getting pretty annoyed. It was the first time I think he was getting angry at me. He'd try to lick. I'd stop him. He'd move away and try to lick again. I'd stop him again. This went on and on, and he wouldn't be meowing or growling, but each time I'd prevent him from licking, he'd let out a loud but teeny tiny little Frankenstein's monster voice "Urgggghhh!"
This went on for quite some time.
It's a good thing I live in Japan because it escalated to the point with me yelling out, "Don't lick your balls! I said don't lick your balls! If you lick you balls, I'm going to put that e-collar back on you, young man!" http://bestsmileys.com/angry1/19.gif
Unfortunately he would not stop and I got worried, so I had to force Mooch back into his e-collar.......for about the three seconds it took him to run madly through my apartment to tear it off LOL. http://bestsmileys.com/doh/1.gif
Clever nut.
But I think he got the idea and things calmed down after that. And he went back to being such a love bug. http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/heartsmile.gif I actually started writing this post yesterday, but I'd pet Mooch, and then type, and whenever I'd start typing, I'd look at Mooch and he'd have one eye open and looking at me LOL! So I ended up not really doing anything but petting him and making him feel good.
Now he's much better, except that he misses Cham terribly and has been whimpering and searching for her. (So have I, LOL.)
Anyway, I'll be back later to tell you how Cham is doing.
I'm.....I'm sleepy but doing all right. Thanks so much for asking!

JEN - Yay! You slept through the night! YAYAYA! I do think it's good that you got yourself off of taking a sleeping pill.
>Remind me tomorrow or today your time, I think you are back today to reply to your questions about "the twins"!!! I didn't want to reply Fri night or Sat since you'd be gone, not too personal of a question at all, I don't try to hide it or care if people know, I like them so that's all that matters!
Sorry for the delay, and thank you for your response! And in that case, I've got lots of questions! LOL. But don't answer any that you don't want to.
That's great that you got your twins and love them. Did it take you a long time to decide to go for it? Had you had a friend who did it that inspired you? Have you had any trouble with them at all? Is it true that you have to have the surgery again in a number of years?
>then maybe run by Chad's for a while-haven't told him yes or no yet... still thinking.
What? What? What did I miss here?
>Chad called & I told him I was too tired to move from my chair to drive (although it is literally 2 min)
LMAO!!!
>Anyway, got a nice relaxing back rub so hoping that will help me sleep, we'll see.
YES!
>he asked if he could come by my place for a few, said he missed me- whatever!
Oh my.... http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/goodsigh2.gif
SHELLEY - Thanks for the well-wishes on the squirrels! How did the hair cutting go?
>I had one of those last night too!
http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/goodsigh2.gif
JENNIE - You have trouble sleeping period, or you have trouble sleeping at night? Are you the type who can take naps?
Up until last year, I could never take naps. But I've surprised myself and have really gotten good at them.
JENNIFER -
>I will be on the other side of my dept. so she will be able to avoid me till the rent is due.
LOL. I'm glad to hear things went well with that. What did she decide to do?
Anyway, I'm glad you had a good vacation, and that the cats were able to get a good dose of you. And congrats for starting off on a healthier eating plan!
I'm so sorry to hear about your former co-worker. What a terrible shock.
ROBIN -
>Chad may be right suggesting overtraining. Of course, I probably undertrain.
LMAO!
>I just finished two batches of grape jelly and an going to go lift.
Love that sentence.
DIANE - Oh wow, great photo! You look fabulous! And yeah, last late work night! YAY!
MICHELE - What a wonderful weekend it sounds you had!
>PUMP -- and I'll run through it 2 or 3 times
Wha,..what does that mean, you'll run through it 2 or 3 times?!
>From now on whenever I see "CC" with a negative comment, I know they're really talking about Kimberly Spreen
ROTFLMAO!!!
Thanks so much for your well wishes!
Okay. I'm going to take a nap and then get ready to go pick up Cham.
Biiiiiig hugs to you all! Thanks for the support!
