Morning morning morning morning morning!
Oh look, the other day Corrie and Mariah started the HATE threads almost at the same time! It's HATE magic!
It's HATE MAGIC!
Mariah, I guess there's a subliminal magnetic pull to the word hate when it's all in CAPS LOL. See, check this out :
hate HATE
Don't you feel your eyes being helplessly pulled towards the capital HATE? LOL. Anyway, don't let that unfortunate overlooking mishap stop you from starting the thread again, you hear!
My business trip was a great time.
Just one thing :
NoDuts.
Yeah. I must have jinxed myself when I said that my hotels are always near donut shops when I'm out of town. Not one in site this round. But that's all right. I'm okay. It's cool. No problem. I've got it under control. All's good.

Anyway, how are you guys?! I missed you.

I was surprised the news of the earthquake got to the States. It was big, but I didn't realize it was news-worthy big. I was sleeping in my hotel room when it happened, around 10am, I think. It was long and sway-y. I'm luckily fairly cool when it comes to earthquakes - I woke up, thought, oh wow this one's big, swayed with it a bit and then got up to see how Oogi was LOL. But moments after the quake, all the children (okay, and maybe some adults) in the hotel started going nuts waaa-ing. Turns out nobody in Tokyo even felt it.
By the way, I'll have you know I have my HEATER on. I'm so envious of you all talking about turning on air-conditioners. I just can't imagine it. I will be so happy for it to be sticky and humid and hot as can be! I don't want to be scaly anymore. I want to be sticky. Glazy, even. http://www.smileyhut.com/naughty/shifty.gif
CORRIE - Okay, what is OAL, and what t-shirt are you talking about and you DIDN'T get a space on the road trip?!
You know, that reminds me when I found an ad in a Japanese magazine for t-shirts, except that they'd forgotten to include the much needed "r" in the word throughout the entire advertisement.
MARIAH - Oh good, I'm not the only one who doesn't know what OAL and t-shirts are. Well, I know what t-shirts are, just not the ones that Corrie was talking about...I'm not sure what kind of help I could be, but if there's any info I could give you for your brother's girlfriend's daughter, please feel free to send me a message!...Your DD's name is Jana?! Wow! I've never even met one Jana in my life! It is a pretty name.
SHELLEY - ELEVEN MILES!?! Hey, wait isn't that a movie title?...So what's been going on over there with you. We want more gab. More gab! More gab!
KARA - Hi, Kara!
DEB - Thank you for thinking of me when you saw about the earthquake. Yes, I'm fine and all around where I am here seems to be normal.....There's a waiting list for the road trip?! Wow, that's amazing! And what are you talking about not adding your name because of what?!
DIANE - Oh man, business trip from He!!. Glad you survived it. How do you "almost" share a bed? Anyway, that's exciting about the heartbeat and great that you were finally able to tell your co-workers about your pregnancy!
JEN - Hi there!
ROBIN - Wow, you have a few fun opportunities to meet up with some Haters, I'm so envious! I hope you'll be able to get together with many of them and that we can have the privilege to hear about it all....And you got into the road trip? Yay for you!...By the way, your short posts pack great quips, even at early morning hours.
HEATHER - Above all else, congratulations on Aunt Flo's arrival!!! I can't tell you how relieved I am to hear that she finally made an entrance. That and that you got a spot on the road trip and are probably right now sitting on a mountain of cheese with a chocolate waterfall! Oh and also relieved to hear that you bought new shoes LMAO.
>The store stayed open 25 minutes after closing time just for me!
You can just bet as soon as they saw you walking up to the store front, they switched on the store alarms and were like HEATHER ALERT! HEATHER ALERT! And all the salespeople's hearts jumped for joy.
Love your check-in plan LOL. You will certainly be busy. I hope your elbows won't get too sore from typing all day.
MICHELE - Sorry to hear that you're not able to get away with your DH on his work trip this week. Your romantic walk sounded lovely....LOL about you and your tax. Hey, whatever happened to your DH's juice refund?
>We'll make our own fun, by golly, and we'll talk about everybody while they're gone
LMAO.
DANA - Hiya!
>We go from having 100 posts in one thread to less than 20. What, do I smell?
LMAO.
JANA - OMG, was that Jana again?! You busy monster! We hate your job, too, because it takes you away from here and us.
Where are the rest of yous? You can't hide. Work or school blah blah is no excuse. LOL.
On that note. I'm off like pounds of flab should be!
?
Heh. Anyway, I'm off.
Have a great day!
