Good morning! http://www.pic4ever.com/images/banana_smiley_32.gif
It's another lovely day in Tokyo and I've got the air-con on low. The sun is shining and the cat water fountain is trickling LOL.
We were up until about 4am playing with Miss Beetle http://bestsmileys.com/insects/1.gif .
Cham and Mooch were so excited about her and they were just so cute to watch. It was sort of heartwarming to see Mooch curiously but very gently repeatedly touch her, and when Miss Beetle would start to run towards Mooch (I guess she wanted to hide in his black hair), he would back up like he didn't want her to stampede him (or get stampeded).
Cham on the other hand was very excited to put Miss Beetle in her mouth - but just to carry places LOL. She would sniff and sniff again, and then gingerly put Miss Beetle in her mouth, walk a few feet away and drop her out, and Miss Beetle would start walking around again (this beetle could fly, too, so she must have been cool with this play to some degree LOL).
A couple times Miss Beetle played dead and that in itself was really cute. She'd flop over on her back and crumple up her antenna and her feet like "Oh, uh oh, I'm dead. I'm completely dead. Playtime is over because I am completely dead. See my crumpled antenna and feet?"
Sometimes she would fly up onto the ceiling and Mooch and Cham would go wild. I had to get a chair so I could lift Moochie Pie up high enough so that he could gently swat her back down to the floor area.
I finally decided that everyone had had their thrill for the evening and put Miss Beetle outside to look for Sir Cockroach.
Cockroaches, by the way, are really, really common in Japan, unfortunately, though they really don't bother me.
Anyhoo, I've finished a 10-min kickboxing fix, plus the KM leg conditioning drills that I used to find so easy (.....this is the part where I whine and whimper LOL).

>A cockroach in my home would bother me. Thanks to my old neighbours in my old apt complex, I did get them. It was hard to fumigate the place with Adrian (my old cat).
LOL. That's the thing about cockroaches. They're the smartest, oldest buggers on the planet and there is simply no fumigating. They probably laugh when we spend money on fumigation and then go around licking the powder because it tastes good. I think I told you guys but cockroaches can live an entire month from licking a freakin fingerprint. I'm not even joking! They got it down!
I hope you have a great time kayaking. We want to hear the stories of how much water went up your nose! LOL.
Your upcoming weekend seeing old schoolmates sounds like it will be great. Are you excited to see your old friend?
DANA - I'm going to tell Michele on you. GET TO A DOCTOR! I don't go to doctors either, but you do seem to have that recurring pain in your chest like that. Does your family have any history of that sort of pain? That's worrisome. I know you've been working out more steadily recently, could that be part of the problem?
>if I saw a cockroach, there is no way in he!! I'd pick it up and rescue it. It would be DEAD!!!
Sir Cockroach had positioned himself between the front door and its threshold, so all I had to do was open the door a bit and out he scurried. All the squirrels were lined up at the door with their ears all perked up waiting in vain for him to run around in the entryway again.
All right. I HAVE GOT to work today. I was really good with eating and exercising and playing video games yesterday http://bestsmileys.com/blushing/7.gif , but I've got to get my butt in gear and finish this project. http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/chores019.gif
Have a great weekend!
