HATE - July 27

August

Cathlete
Oh dear.

Mooch has picked up two bad habits as of late.

This morning he suddenly started doing a little routine during my breakfast (I eat after the royalty) of "Whacha eatin? Is it good? Can I have some? Gimme some. Gimme just a little. I want some. Gimme some! Gimme some! I said gimme some!" http://bestsmileys.com/drooling/2.gif

Is this kind of behavior inborn or something?! I did not teach Mooch that behavior! In fact the only human food he's ever had is a fingernail sized piece of boiled egg, which he thought was a toy for the first five minutes LMAO.

"This is MY breakfast. THIS is your breakfast." and I put him in front of his own bowl that had some leftovers in it.

His other bad habit is that since last week - he has been bumping and grinding Cham http://bestsmileys.com/eek/9.gif . After he did it a few times, I decided to call his doctor.

Being that he's still only 10 weeks old, I'm to tell him "No!"

Heh. We'll see how that goes.

I finished up my Pilates and now I'm going to get ready for my weekend away.

Have a fun one and see you next week!

JEN - No, I haven't gotten a window sill perch yet. I read one review where a girl said she was bummed it didn't have ledges because her cat would always get cozy and then in his sleep, roll off the side of it LOL! My squirrels are also rollers and often slide with a thump off the sofa. I saw Mooch roll off my Mom's chair last night and that chair has a really wide seat! So I started wondering if getting up high on the window perch and rolling off onto the litter box underneath was such a good idea or not. Hmm. Although the one who wants to be there is Cham, and she doesn't seem to be the kind of clutz her brother seems to be.

All right the rest of you Haters...it's Friday! :D

ETA : Oh, I wanted to congratulate Jen on her slimmer legs! I'm envious! And I hope you are in the knowing that it is from the working out and not your weird eating. Anyway, way to go on the new leg workout routine success, and good to hear you're getting some fresh produce in there!

Hello Everyone.

Thank GOD, it's Friday!! It's been a long week and I went into it already burnt with PMS too. Tonight, I start on Lillies of the Valley planting into Saturday then, pig roast that afternoon, if I make it.

There is someone that I'm curious about. I met him a couple of weeks ago, but the problem is is that there's a woman in hot pursuit of him and he's "suppposivley" isn't interested and is not doing much to cut her off. There's always something, it seems like.

The porch overhang gets finished next weekend, this weekend is planting. Then, the next round begins with lawn and trim work.

Have a FUN weekend!

Good FRIDAY Morning Everyone!

Hi August , HI Jennifer !!

Jennifer, I have lily of the valley all over the place! I love them.
When my grandmother died, my mom dug some of the LOV up and planted some at her house and shared with my sister and me. I'm not the greatest gardener, but LOV will grow ANYWHERE under ANY conditions. It is perfect for ground cover and filling in any bare areas.
You won't have any problems!!!

August, you talking about your cat slipping off of things.....ha! It reminded me of my old cat Socks. Boy, he was a character. He was the most loving cat I ever had. Anyway, we built a new deck on the house we used to live in. It was a split level, so it was pretty high up with a bunch of steps up to it. Socks used to love to sun on the deck but he'd get right up on the edge........well....one day I was out there and he was sunning and fast asleep, well he flipped over in his sleep and FELL RIGHT OFF THE SIDE OF THE DECK !!!!!!!!!!!
OMG!  I was sure he broke his back! I ran and looked down and he was just standing there shaking himself off, looking around like WHAT THE HECK JUST HAPPENED ??!:* Then he seemed embarressed and kind of slunk away.
:p
Once I saw he was fine, I couldn't help laughing !!

This morning I did a workout I got from Netflix. I really kind of liked it......it was different. Better Burn, Better Buns by Tracie Long Training. I wonder if I'll feel it tomorrow?

Well, I've had a nice week but I'm still glad it's Friday!!!
What's everyone doing this weekend??

Becky

Hey there!

Wow, I'm really late getting here today:eek: . I've been posting tidbits here and there between other online projects and that...that freaking phone ;) .

Despite our anticipatory sense of dread, we actually had a nice evening with the damily (I think I mentioned that damily was visiting from Pittsburgh, didn't I?). DH's brother grilled out last night and we had a lovely dinner, then we gathered in front of the TV to watch a video of my nephews 8th grade class play -- Fiddler on the Roof. My DN had the lead and he was AWESOME!! What a natural! Then I got a little teary eyed thinking about how quickly the kids are growing up.

My BIL is an MD specializing in Physical Medicine -- basically he does a lot of sports medicine and rehab type stuff. He looked at my elbow and said it's classic tennis elbow. It's coming along nicely so he said I can probably get by with a 10 day course of Ibuprofen, and he suggested a WRIST splint at night. He also thought my tennis ball massages were a good idea. It pays to see the right kind of doctor. My DH, the pediatrician, outfitted me with an ELBOW BRACE -- ROTFLMAO!!!

I'm not working out today because I just don't want to -- how about THAT! I am doing the Cardio Coach Press Play workout tomorrow, though.

AUGUST -

>>This morning he suddenly started doing a little routine during my breakfast (I eat after the royalty) of "Whacha eatin? Is it good? Can I have some? Gimme some. Gimme just a little. I want some. Gimme some! Gimme some! I said gimme some!"

OMG that's so funny (and I love that little drooling, scratching smilie guy). You need to get a squirt bottle and spritz that wayward kitty with water every time he tries to snatch your food -- LMAO!! That's what I have to do with my Johnny. My kitty will actually jump up on my table and lounge right in front of my dinner plate, then occasionally he'll s-t-i-r-etch his paw out and touch my food, that little devil! -- LMAO!

>>His other bad habit is that since last week - he has been bumping and grinding Cham . After he did it a few times, I decided to call his doctor.

Why don't you just give him some privacy and a pack of cigarettes -- :p:7

Have a nice weekend and don't work too hard:*

JENNIFER - it sounds like you have a full weekend ahead of you. I can just picture a hillside covered with Lily of the Valley -- so lovely. That was my mom's favorite spring flower and when she passed away in the springtime a few years ago, I ordered a little bouquet of them to place in her hands. Somehow I know she just loved that.

Now, I want more details about this guy!:p

BECKY - Somehow I missed that it was your anniversary:eek: . Well Happy Anniversary!!! How many years has it been? I hope you did something special.

I'm praying that your MIL passes her evaluations with flying colors and will be allowed to return home. I would hate for her to move in with you prematurely.

Oh yeah, you'll be feeling BBBB tomorrow. I have it but I haven't done that one in a long time. I actually think it gets harder and you feel it more as your functional fitness improves.

JEN - ditto what Augie Doggie said about your legs! I'm sorry to hear about all the job losses in your industry. The housing market has been really terrible in Ohio for quite some time now. I hope things turn around soon and please tell me your position is secure!

Guess what day it is? It's PIZZA DAY!!! YEA! YEA! YEA! I didn't get my pizza last week because we were at the MMGHH and my DH wanted to go to the Amish restaurant for broasted (i.e. crispy, greasy, fried) chicken, so that's what we did. No power on earth could prevent me from getting a pizza tonight;) :9

Dana, Diane, Shelley, Robin, Jana, and anyone I may have missed -- I hope you have a great weekend!:* :* :*
