Hey there!
Yes, the tsunami did indeed fizzle out, thank goodness. Apparently the 8.3 was in the ocean, so luckily there really was no damage.
Speaking of damage, I've just finished my Gym BSB and made my smoothie. I've been putting regular ol' spinach in it and it tastes great!
You guys, I've just realized and remembered that the water in my apartment is turned off for today for repairs. The water will be turned on an hour after I've left for work! Urgh! And then I won't be home until late...is my blender going to be the grossest thing on earth or what? I'm scared.
Michele - I'm so sorry to hear that glop is back in your life. Did the doctor say why it is suddenly acting up like this? Your cat! That was totally cute! He must have been like, "Yo. Food. Hey. Stop typing and get me my food." Anyway, your new workout room must be totally inspiring. No more lugging! No more inconveniences! And the TV. Woo hoo! That's great that you are matching Jari's lifting weight. I found that chart confusing too (where it shows the total weight). As you use the workouts, you'll also start noticing that there are some exercises that Jari herself can't figure out or is doing them slightly wrong (bending right instead of left). I guess they are not exercises she regularly does in her own routine LOL.
Dana - Thanks, Mom's carpet is fine and the laundry machine is well. Everyone is happy and dry LOL. Mom stays at her apartment when I go out of town or when I go out to work. When I'm working at home, I go down to her place for dinner. There's a library and a big book store down the street from our building and she loves to go there and read all the newspapers and magazines and stuff. That's been great for her since she loves to read....Sooooo, tell us about the bread!! Was it fantastic?...And huge congrats on the new computer. I've been psyched to have you back so often, and now with the new computer, it's sealed! Woo hoo!
Tetris! Woooo! Ain't it great that you can play nostalgic games on Nintendo? Love! Love!
Heh, I know nothing about computers. But I DO know more about the new Krispy Kreme in Tokyo, as I did some research on it. It's at a huge train station that I never go to because it's on the way to nothing for me and because it's the busiest train station in the world, or something nuts like that.
But come on now, don't be silly, a crowded station is hardly going to keep me from going. I've NEVER had a Krispy Kreme before. OF COURSE I'M GOING.
> I also thought that August knew everything. But then the truth came out. LOL. When I was having computer problems I couldn't get on here and I e-mailed her in hopes of getting an answer to the computer problem. She was no help!!!!! HA!!!
LMAO.
Ask me about raw brownie mix and I'll be able to help you out any time.
What a nice gift for your boss to give you. That sounds like something you'd give a family member for a present. She must think really highly of you.
Robin - You went out power walking in the drizzle? What a romantic! I'm totally with you on the exercising in the evening. It seems that if I don't get it done in the morning, then it just ain't getting done. Weirdly, there was a period when I first started doing Christi that I would do a workout in the morning and then also one at night because I couldn't help myself.
DID YOU HEAR THAT DEB?
Deb - Have you been talking about going back to work? Am I having a moment here? I don't remember that. I remember your talking about P90X though LOL. I saw on the check-in for that that Jeanette is still at it and doing well.
Diane - Hey there! That's great that your project is finished and you can get some sleep finally. It seems lots of people have stomach issues when they start ETL, that's because of all the veggies and fiber? You'd think it would be the opposite - totally issue-free! Glad to hear the road trip went well!
Okay, so I'm off to take a shower. NOT. ;(
Later!
