Good morning Mariah and all!
I was just getting ready to start our thread when I noticed your post, Mariah. Congratulations on your new grandbaby!! What a beautiful name! How many grandchildren do you have? Are you preparing to spoil her rotten? Grandparents are allowed to do that, you know--lol!
August, are you there? It must be about 11PM in Tokyo -- I hope you can poke in for a minute to say hello before going to bed:* Oh, I would be happy to be one of the official Hater's chefs if you promise to be the smoothie maker (no green smoothies, please
:7 ).
I just want to take a moment to say OMG, all these recipes sound so yummy!! I've copied them into my computer recipe file and I can't wait to try some of them. That corn pudding is making my mouth water:9 .
Arista, did you find some nice chocolates for Ryan? My DH and I really don't do up V-Day too much. He sends me flowers sometimes but not every year. We never go out but sometimes I make a nice dinner. There are other special occasions that mean a lot more to me like, our wedding anniversary. My DH will have a late day at work this year so I'll probably make a big pot of soup. He'll eat and go straight to bed -- to sleep -- LMAO. He has to get up early in the morning for work so we don't do too much "celebrating" on week nights. --I'm going to have to check out that foodfit website.
Jen, I cannot believe how much you accomplished on a Sunday morning
. Don't you ever have a lazy day? I bow to your greatness! --Let's see, what DID I have for brunch? I don't remember now. I think I had poached eggs and this wonderful toast made with 5 seed ww bread. I have several imported Italian spreads for the toast, like blood orange marmalade and a chocolate chestnut butter. OMG, they were so good :9. I know what you mean about pancakes. I love them but I rarely make them anymore. I used to make mine from scratch with WW flour and buttermilk. I usually put some kind of fruit in them, usually blueberries, and I always used real maple syrup. Actually, maple syrup is pretty good. Yes, it's a sweetener, but it's all natural and better than cane sugar. Have you ever tried it?
Arista and Jen, your workout schedules look great. I think I'm still sticking with Cathe's Feb rotation even thought I didn't really follow it last week. I'll try harder this week...I swear
Okay girls, as the founder of Cardiohateville I'm establishing a new rule. NO SELF DENIGRATING REMARKS!!! You are all beautiful, inside and out. This is my rule, kay?
High Step Training --
;(
;(
. The only high step workout I have is the beg/intermediate one and that's hard enough for me. Oh, to be young again
Terri, I am officially going crazy now trying to figure out which song you're talking about--lol! --I like S&L too, once I got past her appearance. She is so thin -- too thin IMHO. And I really wish she'd do something with that hair. I desperately want to pull it back in a ponytail or something. --It's been really cold in Ohio, too. It dropped below zero at night over the weekend but it's warmed up to about 27 this morning. It's amazing how warm 27 feels after it's been -2.
Robin, Diane, Dana, Kate (where are you!?!?!?), Jana, Deb -- good morning to you and how were your weekends?
It's time to get ready for a workout
