Morning oh haters of cardio. That's what is on tap for me this afternoon. Nuthin but pure cardio. I'm not sure if I'll do RS, SB or go for a run. It's supposed to be in the 80's (!!!!) here, so I may skip the run for something on the step. I did manage to work up enough gumption to do a workout yesterday - power hour.

The count down for Shelley and Sophie's visit starts today. How many sleeps Shelley? I only have one more major housecleaning chore to get done before Friday. Then a whole bunch of little things. I'm hoping the weatherman is wrong about the extended forecast. Every day is supposed to be cloudy, chance of showers until at least Sunday. :-( But we know how often weathermen are right. Right?

My break buddies are looking at me pitifully, so I better grab my coffee and PB toast and head upstairs. Later haters.

Hey to everyone else, I'll be back during my lunch.

Tonight is a major busy night for me. I've gotta pick up the boys, will get home around 4:40, get Gabe changed into his t-ball stuff, grab some snacks and out the door by 4:50, he has a t-ball game at 5:00 and then soccer practice at 6:30. We won't be eating dinner until 7:45-8:00!!!!!

Good morning!!!

I did my CC PP workout last night and I have more cardio on tap for today. I think I'll do a step workout :eek: , in keeping with my goal to incorporate more step into my regimen. I haven't done step in a couple of weeks so I better do some today. I'm still sore from ME which I did on Saturday. Man oh man, it got my biceps and pecs but good!!

I'm on a mission and I need to stay focused. I have so much going on between now and my trip to Italy and I'm worried about it. DH's sister is coming next week, then DH leaves for Germany, plus I have several appointments (and I cannot WAIT to get my permanent crown because this temp is driving me crazy), AND I have shopping to do. I don't have one nice thing to pack for my trip. We don't have any decent stores around here. I ordered some stuff online but sent most of it back :-( . Anyway, all this to say that I won't be around as much for the next month or so. I'll just be checking in once -- maybe twice a day. I need to discipline myself to get up and get something accomplished in the mornings because once I sit down in front of the computer my day is shot.

Robin, your house must be utterly spotless by now -- it seems like you've been working on it for weeks -- LOL! You're going to have a blast with Shelley and Sophie. I think you should try to meet up with Dana, too, for heaven's sake!

Dana, your day sounds exhausting;( . I hope you can manage a little time to catch your breath.

Jen, I want your energy -- I want to be just like you when I grow up ;) :D. You don't waste one minute of your day and I'm the total opposite. I could write a book on how to procrastinate, except that I'd procrastinate and never sit down to write it -- LMAO!! Really though, I have such a hard time lately digging my heels in and getting to work, then everything piles up and I become totally overwhelmed. I need a chore coach :eek: ;) ;(

Michele, LOL about my house being spotless. You know, just because you pick things up and dust and vacuum, it doesn't stay that way. Especially with a DH and a DD who don't pick things up and dust and vacuum. And a fat, white cat who's goal in life is to cover every surface in the house with a white fur coat. Actually, what I've been doing is the big projects that only get done once or twice a year like windows and the familyroom carpet.

How can I get Dana and Shelley together when I can't even get Dana and myself together!??!
 
It is lunch and I thought I'd have lots to read. Where is everyone?

Michele - I don't think you are a procrastinator. It is so easy to get wrapped up into the forums and before you know it, one, two or more hours have passed. That is why I do not log on at home - I'd never get a thing done. You certainly have a busy month ahead of you. Have you done your workout? You certainly are getting the cardio in, eh? Have you talked to Nancy? How is she doing?

Robin - I forgot to mention, guess what is in my refrigerator? Amish Whoopie pies!!! HA!!! My DH and Gabe went to the Amish Consignment Sale on Saturday morning and brought back a big bag of goodies. Gabe had 2 glazed donuts for breakfast and DH had ice-cream and apple dumplings for breakfast!!

Georgie Boy where are you???? You complain that noone answers your posts and then you just up and leave us?????? What is up with that????

I was so happy (doesn't take much) when I saw that the grocery store where I shop put in an organic section. I got 2 bags of granola - it is called peak protein granola and I"ve been mixing it with WW yogurt. I also bought a 5 grain hot cereal - I made it this morning and it was so good. I can't remember the 5 grains though (oats, barley and flax is all that I can remember). I also got some white tea which wasn't too bad.

Well, since I'm talking to myself, I guess I'll get out of here . . . :p

Here is how to fix your cat fur problem: buy white furniture and a white carpet. Voila! Fixed!

I wish I could meet Shelley & Robin but my schedule is nuts (not mine really, Gabe is Mr. Social). Thursday is a t-ball game, Friday ???, Saturday is t-ball & soccer and I told Gabe that I would take him to Knoebels after his games and Sunday he has a birthday party in Berwick.

I did my workout, Cardio Fusion (I gave my copy away and then, in a fit of optimism, I turned around a few months later and bought another one), and it feels so good to have it out of the way. I say this every time I do my workout early, yet I hardly ever do my workout early. My ultimate goal is to complete my workout everyday before I even go near my computer. OTOH, I hate to set a lofty goal that is unrealistic. I need you people to hold me accountable big time, kay!?

By the way, I did a premix and OMG! I did basic step through several of the drills. Those drills are WAY out of my league:eek: ;)

Dana, what is the brand of that hot cereal you bought? It sounds delish!

Robin, maybe you should dye your kitty:7

I tried to call Nancy several times but her line's been busy. I'll bet everybody and their brother has been calling her today. I'll try again this evening.

I was feeling really pumped up and pleased with myself for completing my workout. I fixed a nice, BIG lunch (with some bad elements ;( ), pet the kitty for a bit, then took a look at my rotation for tomorrow. And what did I see when I checked my rotation, you ask? Well, I saw that I forgot to do segments from Core Max and Stretch Max that were on the rotation for today. I was tempted at that point to just blow it off but I didn't. I can now say I'm FINISHED with my workout for the day, once and for all.;) :D
 
Good evening haters! I felt like a bum tonight only doing Firm It Up and 200 jumping jacks- compared to my workouts this weekend it was super easy but I know I need a night or two like that during the week if I'm doing double workouts on the weekend.

Tomorrow night is B&G, think I'll do the regular premix, I like the leg blast premix but I actually think for my goals (weight loss/smaller butt & thighs) the regular one is better for that. I may do the firewalkers a couple times though, those hit the saddle bags really good! I'm also going to do the stabilty ball abs, haven't done it yet as I always revert back to KPC abs, I love that ab workout.

Robin- So, what workout did you end up doing? Sounds like you have been busy cleaning. I can empathize with the cat hair, my two are shedding like crazy right now, tis the season of summer!

Dana- Did you have a LC pizza for lunch today? Your DH & Gabe's breakfast sounds good! Sounds like you have a busy week with the boys again, I don't know how you manage to work full time and workout with a family.

Michele- Nancy is still in my prayers. I know what you mean about once you sit down at the computer it is hard to make yourself move! On the weekends that is why I don't even go near the computer most of the time until my workout is done. I kind of look at it as my reward for working out...I tell myself once you are done working out you can take a couple hours & veg out on the computer. Sometimes easier said than done but once you get into that routine it'll be easier.

Where is everyone? I haven't seen Mariah around here for a while.

I have been out of touch for a while. Sorry I am so flakey. I am just so busy these days and not working out at all, so it is a little depressing seeing everyone do their Cathe rotations. And I have been a little obsessed with my pregnancy, so that is all I really post about. I hope everyone is doing well! I will check back in every few days, but for now I am just trying to keep my head above water at work. I just keep getting behind in the posting and then I can't catch up.

Jen, I ended up doing RS. I just love that workout. Then I cleaned half the carpet. I hope to get the rest of it done tomarrow, so it dries by the weekend.

Dana, LOL about the whoopie pies. I hope I get time to make a batch. I told DH about your suggestion of white furniture and carpet. He said that would be fine until the cat puked, his second major goal in life.

Diane, we love hearing about your pregnancy, so don't let that keep you away. And you'll get back to your workouts again, have no fear.

Michele, way to go finishing your workout. You're a beast. Please keep us up to date with Nancy's news. Take a deep breath and don't worry. I'm sure you'll get everything done before Italy. When do you leave? We leave the 19th for our trip. I'm trying to talk DH into going to Philly the night before, instead of driving 3 hours to get to the airport early Sat. morning. We also have the flight, then a 2 hour drive to my sisters, so I'd just as soon not have to get up at 2 am.

Time to hit the hay with my book. Night to all, including any who have turned into lurkers.

I see that there has been quite the slowdown in the posts in Hatesville. Perhaps there is love in the air? Is it spring?

I have been trying to keep up with the posts, but I have been busy lately with house hunting and, and... you know, I don't really know WHY I have been too busy to post and check in to see how everyone is doing! There is no excuse! Ten lashes with a wet noodle for me!

I think perhaps it is because my life is dull and routine. I have no exciting news to post! I suppose I really should post my workouts since that is what the forum is for....

Well today was Body Max step only and PUB. I LOVE the Body Max step segment. AHA! I just thought of something I could ask. When I have been doing weight training lately I have been having a hard time because my hands and wrists are hurting! Can anyone let me know if this is something that they have encountered and if it went away. I have recently increased my weights, so I am hoping it is just temporary because it really hurts!

Robin & Shelley - someone take pictures and post them please!!!

Dana - you crack me up! I love your advice to Robin. I dare you to try it yourself. I would buy some furniture to cover the dirt and hair from my gang, but I haven't seen anything in a combo of kitty grey, kitty orange, cheerio beige, chocolate brown, apple juice amber, and popsicle red.

Diane - we EXPECT you to post about your pregnancy! We like to hear about such an exciting event - just drop a note when you can.

Shelley - I am really scared to cut back on my cardio. But I am LOVING the results I am getting from the stength training. I KNOW there are muscles under there - I just need to melt a little more fat off.

JEN! - Are you SURE you aren't overtraining? Honestly, I would be one big DOM if I worked out as much as you. And thanks for asking me to post - it really made my day! My sister and I are really close. We just has a little disagreement about how much muscle a woman can have and still be feminine...needless to say, I like muscle and definition! LOL! She likes the less bulky, more toned look. It wasn't a big deal (I'll just pick her up and throw her down, then put her in a headlock if she makes me mad again.)

Well, gotta go have a cuppa tea (decaf) and what an episode of Grey's Anatomy. I bought the second season of Grey's about 3 weeks ago.....hmmm I wonder if there is a connection between that purchase and my diminished posts....

I have a few more questions for you all, but I will save them for tomorrow so I have something else to post.
