Hello, all!
I hope that everyone is finding a way to have a wonderful, cheerful weekend - may it be one of restfulness, excitement, peacefulness, warmth, or whatever best fits the mood and situation.
I'm going to get friendly with my vacuum now. And we're going to have a ball sucking up all the crap that has accumulated during my busy week.
Hugs to everyone!
DANA - I was LOL at your co-worker who cuts and serves up cake by pushing it off the server onto the plate and then licking her thumbs. I can totally see it LMAO!
I have a problem with that sort of thing, too, so I'm always aware of it. For example, I have a problem with sharing small foods that come in bags, like where you have to dig your hand in the bag to take some out. If I'm going to be sharing that sort of thing, I always pour the stuff from the bag into my hand.
I once had a bag of Sour Patch Kids and was in a meeting with a few people. I offered everyone some Sour Kids, and I'd hold the bag out so that they would cup their hands out and I'd pour some in. But there was one girl sitting on the far side from me, so I ended up just having the bag passed around to her.
Then she sat there eating a couple at a time, and while chewing, she'd be dusting the extra sugar left on her fingers BACK INTO THE BAG! http://www.smileyhut.com/misc_expressions/aak.gif
>So my question is - how do I decline the salad?
I believe the appropriate response would be, "I'm sorry, I don't eat second-hand salad." http://bestsmileys.com/lol/11.gif

>Good evening haters. I love the cookies they have at church meetings.
That short and to the point post totally cracked me up.
DIANE - Hi again!
MICHELE - My heart sank to read that Nancy's cancer is the most aggressive of breast cancers. I imagine she and her family would want to have the surgery as soon as possible, so it's good to hear that the surgery is scheduled for next week. Is your project for her going smoothly? If there is anything that I can do for her or for you, don't you hesitate to say. I will be continuing to send warm wishes.

>A fun workout that was 70 minutes long but seemed like 30 !
Wow, now wouldn't it be great to be able to say that about any workout! You must have had a nice sweaty one and trickled off a bunch of calories! Woo hoo!
MARIAH - Hey there, were you able to figure out the premixes?
JEN - That's so nice that your sister's school has a "Mom Weekend." I hope you guys all have a great time together!.....You'd mentioned that you might be coming down with something last week, but it seemed that you'd successfully escaped a full-blown cold - maybe the evils are trying to win again? Maybe some garlic would kick those suckers to the curb? Thanks to everyone's well-wishes, Vitamin C and my gauze mask, I was able to escape the sickness. I'll wish the same for you! (Minus the gauze mask, since I guess you can't really wear one while working....and those things just aren't popular in the States LOL.)
TAMMY - Here I am! Here I am! Heheh, no, no lucid dreaming these days (or at least none that I'm remembering at the moment - but I'm inspired to reread my book and start up it again!). I just had a couple of busy days that had me out in the weee morning and home in the wuuu night.
>The highlight of the day is now...DS#3 went out and DS#1 is on his way to see his girlfriend in NYC. I've got the house to myself
LMAO! Little do the boys know their mom is doing a happy dance once they go out the door! I never thought about that when I was a kid still living at home.
I do remember one time when I was still in middle school that the school bus was late and I was still waiting quietly by the front door. My dad must have thought I'd already gone because he suddenly asked my mom if she wanted to, you know, http://www.smileyhut.com/signs/curtianpeek.gif http://bestsmileys.com/music1/16.gif .....do it. It was like a chain reaction of http://www.smileyhut.com/surprised/shock.gif from mom to me to dad. LMAO. Come to think of it, that's kind of a nice memory for me. http://www.smileyhut.com/non_antialiased/smile.gif
Okay. I'm off to vacuum and do my little workout and then....well, whatever, I'm in my pajamas!
