has anyone seen spanglish??

I saw it. It's fairly good. Tea Leoni (probably spelled that wrong) and Cloris Leachman were outstanding. It has some cute, comedic moments in the beginning, and then gets very heavy-handed emotionally, at the end.

My teen-age son is a big fan of Adam Sandler and wanted to see this. Big mistake. Not typical of Adam Sandler - and I consider that a *good* thing. But not entertaining at his age (13).

i agree! typical Adam Sandler is not a good thing! i can't look at him without getting "sloppy joe, slop, sloppy joe" stuck in my head!! i do like tea leoni however, and the character of her mother seemed humerous in the preview.

thank alia!

Jes, we saw it and thought is was pretty good. Not great but a cute story line and some funny scenes. It was a feel-good movie.

It was not of the comedy type of tone that most of Adam Sandler's movie have. My DH liked it more than me. Adam Sadler did do a good job on it. I was just looking for comedic relief. It really depends on what you are looking for.
