Has anyone done a Gym Style?

I was wondering if anyone tried the Gym Style weight workouts yet. How is it different then the other styles of weight training that Cathe has out already?
Also, are we told what weight Cathe and the crew are using for each excercise? For some reason that always helps me a lot!

I did Gym Style Legs this morning, but just a premix (#1). It was a great workout! I kept up with Cathe on reps, but not weight. She does mention her weights for each exercise. It is just an intense workout. I also previewed the whole thing last night and it is a lot of weight and a lot of reps, grueling for the lower body!! I am not complaining! It looks like an excellent overall workout. I love how she incorporates the Dynaband (you loop it around your high step and work your legs HARD!!). I also like the lunges in this w/o. She does a few forward, a few back, hold for 3 counts, etc. It is a nice shakeup from the "usual"!! I can't wait to do the others. I will try one session from Core Max tonight!

Thanks so much for the reply!! I was so curious as to if she mentioned the weight! Now I can have a future goal! Good for you for keeping up on reps! That's impressive!

Keep in mind that I only did a premix. It was something like 38 minutes. I kept telling myself that it was a short workout, so that is why I kept up. I don't usually keep up on a regular workout (didn't want you to think that Hardcore was easy). Premix #1 did pretty much squats and lunges and a few more, but not the floor work and the other "get in there" exercises.

Can't wait to hear reviews of the other workouts!
 
Hi Ruppie....I have done Gym Style Legs and then the Back, Shoulders and Biceps!!! YEOW!!!!! The use of the band makes it different and she does use different counts which I like. I believe she tells all the weight before each exercise...and WOW she is very strong on Biceps....20lbs for concentrated curls}( ....they so far have been awesome in my estimation...:)...Carole
