RE: Clean Diet
I hate to say it, but taking any pills to lose weight is a HUGE waste of your money. I don't care how compelling the ads are, there is no such thing as weight loss in a bottle.
A clean diet can be a little different for everyone, depending on your needs, genetics, goals, etc. The urge for sugar after a meal usually points to an unbalanced meal and your body craves sugar as a way to tip the scales in the other direction. But by eating sugar then you tip them too far and you're out of balance again. For myself, a clean diet means getting lots of good, low-glycemic index carbs (like salads and leafy or green veggies), good lean protein (soy, fish, chicken), keeping starches, sugar and saturated fats low. You need carbs for energy, protein is NOT a good source of fuel for that. But carbs from flour products (breads, pasta) or starches (potatoes, peas, corn) are like sugar to your body. You'd do best to avoid having them too much or too often.
Personally, I don't believe in setting goals like losing so many pounds in so many days for an occassion. It puts undue pressure on you and puts the focus on a negative aspect, not a positive. You sound like you are doing great work with the Cathe tapes. When trying to lose bodyfat, you also might consider doing more cardio, maybe doing that 4 times per week and weights twice, so you still hit each body part twice with weights but you get more cardio per week. I actually think to lose weight and make changes to your body you need cardio about 5 times per week, but starting with 4, with the weight training, could be all you need.
