Hardcore Rotation Checkin Friday July 15

Morning Everyone,

This morning I did Pure Strength Legs followed by 20 minutes on my rebounder and the Stretch from Gym Style Legs. I used my Urban Rebounder Compilation #3 for the last couple aerobic segments on my rebounder and really found them to be quite good workouts. Not like Cathe's stuff, but my heartrate stayed up at the mid to high range. Pretty good workout but I prefer Cathe's music. I did the Interval Bound one the other day and Hi/Low today (actually just part of it).

Susan - have a good time in Vegas. I'm going at the end of August. Packing is my pet peeve. It does make a trip stressful.....so does the unpacking and washing tons of clothes on your return -- and I'm a nut about getting everything in the washer before I go to bed the night we return.

How long does it take you ladies to do the walking lunges? I'm thinking about doing the rotation I'm doing ....1 week from the Hardcore FL rotation, 1 week from Fatloss with emphasis on Legs & Glutes and 1 week from Fatloss & Definition .....and alternating the weeks to make it a different rotation every month. I like the variety and since I really need to lose these few pounds before I go to Vegas at the end of August (cuz I always gain a few on vacation -- and then that will be too much weight for me to deal with at once).

Lora ~ this last time I did the walking lunges it took me just a little over 10 minutes. I didn't take as many pauses this time. It was a mini cardio work out that way. I was really running short on time, and I wanted to get them in before we left for swim lessons. How do you like Pure Strength? I still have that one on my wish list. Recently, I got S&H and PH/MIS/BM DVDs. I think I'm going to go back to S&H after I finish this GS rotation. I'll wait to see what Cathe posts for August though.

Yeah, Susan have fun in Vegas. Business or pleasure? At any rate, it's always nice to have a break from the daily grind.

Yesterday, I ended up doing GS-CT, like I had planned, but instead of a run on the treadmill I did the first 5 intervals of Imax 2. I wanted to do the whole thing, but again the time factor. Went swimming with my kids and two nieces. Later I did SM #2.

Today, I did GSL and PLB floor work only and CM #3. I think I'm going to do some sort of cardio still. I ran out of time again because of swim lessons. One more lesson to go! My DH and I are going out tonight. Yeah! I'm so excited. I have no idea what we are going to do.

Tomorrow, the rotation says "off day", but I may do my Brian Kest power yoga DVD. I haven't done that one in awhile.

HI everyone,
Today was HSTA w/u and cardio followed by I Max 2 intervals 1-5, then I did lower body with the Bowflex and free weights and followed with the stretch.

It never takes me very long to do the walking lunges, maybe I am in a hurry to get through them. It always seems like endurance to me even dragging the weights with me. Sometimes I am slowed down with grandchildren wanting to do them with me and getting in the way:)
