Hardcore Rotation Checkin for Jan 20 Finally Friday

Hi Ladies -

This morning I did Margaret Richards Good & Strong Vol 1 followed by about 15 minutes of Turbo Jam aerobics. I wanted to do longer aerobics, but of course I overslept for about 1/2 hour - so it cut into my workout time.

I'm going to have to call the ENT doctor later to make an appointment. I still have this sinus infection. I can't smell anything and can't breathe thru my nose at all. I'm very depressed, cuz I like my aromatherapy and I haven't had any in days.

Diana Sue - are you doing a P90X rotation? I've been thinking about doing one or one with Cathe mixed in too.

Lora-I hope you can get in to see the doctor. You must be miserable. I hope you feel better soon.

I never made it to check back in yesterday. Long day! I have class again today but it is only from 8:15 to 11:30. Thank goodeness! The only bad thing is that we don't get lunch and the lunches they have served are really good. lol!

Yes, TGIF!!!

Today, I did Imax 2 and FIU. I still have CM#1 left, but I had to get the kids going. I'll do that after they get on the bus.

Susan ~ You better not stop checking in here! Do you you hear me! :) Yes, we need to keep hearing updates!

Lora ~ I hope you get some rest this weekend. I'm sure the stress your under is not helping!

Sabrina ~ Yeah for you...a half day of class!

Nicole ~ We were doing the dance mat last night. Boy, I've got two left feet! :7 My kids are getting really good at it. There's a LM song on there! :) My two year old is so darn cute trying to do it! :7

Marietta ~ My ds slept fine last night. I guess we'll have to do the dance mat before bed everynight! ;-) I have no idea what's going on with him, but I'll take the sleep I got last night!

Terri ~ What's your favorite SS? I keep doing the same three: FIU, SIP & ToneIU. How do you like TearIU & MIU?

Diane Sue ~ How are you liking P90X? I get so confused with all the different workouts over there.

Susan-I agree with everyone else, Don't you dare leave us now! We want to know how you are doing and we are all waiting for the big day with you. That is some hardcore day you have ahead of you:)
Dallas-I think you will like TIU and MIU. It is so hard to pick a favorute but I would say TIU is right up there as one I reach for often. Oh I am going to look for that magazine today.
Marietta-We finally got snow here. It snowed pretty much all day yesterday and I enjoyed it :) The warm weather will be back soon though.
Diane Sue-How are you liking p90x. I almost hope you say not so much as I sure don't want/need to buy more workouts :)

So I webt to the gym yesterday with the free pass. I awill not join as I do like working out at home and there prices are very high! It is a high end club for sure! Anyway I did the elliptical and I was surprised by the calorie burn it displayed. 500+ in just under an hour. I also took a spin class and I want to do another when Ihaven't done the eliptical first. It was fun but I couldn't give it my all. My pass is good through the 24th. It was a nice change to do some different things. I was crazy enough to do MIU last night though so I sure worked out yesterday!

I may go to my Colorado Springs again tonight to stay with son and gf. We want to do some shopping and they invited me to stay. I will be back tomorrow if I go. It was fun last weekend so I probably will. I have to do payroll first and workout. Ihope you all have a good weekend!

Terri, when you say TIU is that Tear it up or Tone It up? I'm assuming TearIU? Oh, you're making me want to give the elliptical another whirl! ha ha! I can't! I gave up my gym membership. :p ;-) Enjoy your pass! It's good to switch things up! You burned muchos calories yesterday!

Oh Sorry Dallas yes I did mean Tear it up. You should do that one!..It is 78 minutes long like Shape it up is. So plan for the time :)

Finally Friday!! Woo-hoo!!! I only worked 3 days this week and it still felt like torture!!

This morning I did Lo-Max and IMAX 2 (intervals 6-10). I may get in a little more cardio at lunch and the do a bicep/tricep workout.

Lora - Hope you get to the doctor soon...I would hate not being able to smell. Get some rest this weekend too...

Sabrina - Glad class is going well for you...today is the last day..right?

Dallas - you guys are killing me with these workouts. I just ordered my Coffey workouts yesterday. Wonder how long it will take for me to get them...you like that Dance Revolution don't you? I tried to play it at an arcade and it was quite different from the one at home...probably because I was embarrassed that others could see me. I think you asked about my DD's game...it went okay. They lost pretty bad...they gave up to soon. I think you asked for some workouts before too...I'm sorry I forget to respond sometimes, but I think about it later. Were you wanting some type of workout split? Let me know again...

We are supposed to get snow today...I think it actually came from Colorado. It won't be much and then I think it's going to warm back up.

I've also been thinking I shouldn't check in here any longer since I haven't even been doing Cathe.

Did anyone see the Firm/TLT 30-day challenge that Tracie Posted? I'm thinking about doing it, but I have to buy one DVD first. I don't have Express Cardio (Firm).

Perhaps we should consider changing the name of our checkin...anybody have any ideas??

It's not that we only do Cathe or only the Hardcore series for that matter. It's more that we have formed a bond and we enjoy checking in with each other. I'm beginning to know more and more about everyone here and I feel like you guys are my friends. You are also my workout buddies although we've never worked out together...yet we can appreciate and support each other in personal and fitness endeavors.

I'm sorry to get so sentimental...there is nobody that does not "deserve" to checkin here...Do we have an understanding on this now??!!
 
I agree with everything that Marietta said!!! It's ok you got sentimental!

Hmm, changing the name is a good idea..this is the most diverse check-in as far as workouts go. Let me think...We'll have to take a vote.

I have to run some errands. I'll try and check back later.

Good afternoon
Today I did P90X Legs & Back, Cardio coach #3 treadmill,Ab ripper X and 200 Bowflex resisted crunches. I already did the whole GS series earlier so this was great with that. I did use weights through all of the lower work where they used weights, I don't have the pull up bar so did pull downs with the Bowflex lat tower. I liked this workout. So far it seems you hit the legs a lot in these workouts, just not with heavy weights. I may add in some once in awhile through the rotation. My legs were kind of sore from Yoga X yesterday. I like the new moves. I felt like a change was due.

Lora, I hope you get better soon. I still have some residual cough and stuff from that cold. I am doing the P90X rotation. I am adding more cardio and a few other things. Don't leave the check in. Like Marietta said everyone here is like friends. And you have the info on so many workouts:) I don't do exclusively Cathe. Most of us don't.

Dallas and Terri, so far I like P90X. The whole program looks good. I am trying the nutrition program too. I think I will try food and maybe a little protein powder in place of some of their supplements. Breakfast is hard for me as I am usually working out so long, then bathe and run to pick up my granddaughter. Planning the night before helps.

Marietta, busy as usual. It seems so many things are going on. I am also trying to do some projects around here, as my DH will be home to visit the first week in March. He scheduled his vacation to be here for our thirtyfirst anniversary.

Susan, how are you feeling today. I am pulling for you.

Hi everyone,

My DH is taking a test today, so he had my desk all morning until just now.

No workout for me. :(

I've started to take pain medication. So, I'm just in very bad pain and not excruciating pain. :)

Lora, I just don't get why doctors can't seem to be helpful for your sinus infection. I hope you feel better soon.
Have you tried any of Marti's supplment products (from Tracies site)? I like her forum a lot!

Terri, gym memberships are expensive. Not just that, but the cost of clothes adds to it. At home Target brand is good enough (at least for me). Enjoy Co. Springs tonight.

Hey, Marietta, I'm not going anywhere. You just wait....I'm gona "bring it" a couple months after the baby.

Dallas, so you really like the Slim series? I only have FIU. Are the others similar in style?

Diane Sue, what are your opinions of P90X? I liked Tony, but the backrounders....well, that's another story. Do you have a pull-up bar? It cracks me up in one of the w/o's where he says "want to see something gorgeous? No, not this (and he waves his hand around his face) this" and demonstrates an exercise. I do like Ab Ripper a lot.

I kind of like the idea of a new name change. Hmmm, any ideas?
When is Nicole back from visiting her family? I don't remember.

Now I'm torn..........TLT/Firm Rotation or P90X with extra cardio.....I'm such an indecisive person.......plus I have Push coming so I better settle down.
 
Hey...just thought I'd check in. I'm about to leave work and won't be checking back in until Monday.

Susan - girl...I know you are going to be something else after you have that baby!! I can't wait to see what you will do...in the meantime...hang in there!

Don't know what the world of workouts will have in store for me over the weekend, but I definitely plan to workout out.

My DD14 is out of town for a basketball tournament until tomorrow. I have a youth function to attend at church tonight and at this point that be all that I know of. I need to do some housework so looks like I'll be able to fit that in as well.
