Hardcore Rotation Checkin for Friday Aug 26

Morning Everyone -

This morning I did SJP Premix Step & Weights. This is all I had time for, as I'm working the early shift today. I was sluggish, as I didn't get to bed until late and only got about 3.5-4 hours of sleep -- so I guess I didn't have that good of a workout.

I'll talk to everyone on Sept 1st when I return. I'll be anxious to see the new rotation, but I'll probably throw a week or 2 of variety workouts in as well.

Good Morning,
I'm checking in earlier than usual today since I have to hit the road soon. My son has a drs. apt. then we are meeting my husband (he's camping with our dog) then we're off to my parents! I'll be gone all weekend. Tomorrow is my BIG 3-5!:eek: :D

Today I did GS Legs. I didn't do the run. There is only one w/o left for this month’s rotation which I'll do on Monday. I wonder what Cathe is stewing up for next month. I hope it's another "goodie".

Boy Lora, I give you credit for exercising with only 4 hours of sleep. Have a good trip tomorrow!

Dallas, I would think lifting weights today is ok to do. If you are concerned about pushing yourself too hard, just lighten the weights a bit. I think PUB/PLB has a good premix that combines the two w/o's.

Sabrina, how did it go car shopping? Have you seen your niece yet?

Happy Birthday Susan - Wow the big 35!! Just kidding. You're getting better not older. By the way, I'm glad to hear that you like the TLP's. I've only done the cardio one once. I also have the Nitty-Gritty and the Whole Shebang on it's way. They are add on workouts. Actually they are premixes of all of the workouts one 1 DVD. I think one is 45 minutes and 1 is an hour. I will do mine when I return from my trip and I'll probably throw in some Turbo Jam and Yoga Booty Ballet Live before I ease back into a Cathe rotation.

I'll try to check in later, but if my boss is here today, I'm not allowed online. Darned work ......messes with my personal life! LOL

Happy Birthday Susan!:) :) :) :) Have a wonderful birthday weekend. Any plans? We're the same age. Thanks for the recommendation on that premix. I was thinking of doing upper body today and lower body tomorrow. I'll add in a CM segment too. Then on Sunday I'll give cardio a try. All the coughing is finally slowing down! :) I actually only got up once for a coughing fit last night.

Lora ~ You DO have quite the DVD collection. I wished you lived closer so I could try a few out! :7 I was thinking of ordering that Core Secret's abs/butt DVD. I think it's one DVD with 2 20 minute work outs? I thought they would be nice little add ons too. Enjoy yourself in Vegas!

Nicole ~ I'm going to tackle my pantry starting today. This why I'll have the weekend to get it back in order. I'll get back on track with Day 5. My closet is in fair shape, so that's the one I'll tackle next. I cleaned out a cabinet in the kitchen this AM. Lots of expired medicines.

Marietta ~ What are you up to today?

Sabrina ~ What SUV decision did you make? How did the test drive go?

Well, I'm back.
My husband left a message saying he can't leave the boat and truck at the campsite, so I either go w/o him or wait until noon. I plan to wait. That really stinks. I got up early, packed the car and should be on my way now.

Hey Everybody!

I'm off work today so I slept late and I'm off to a late start. I usually am working out at 5:30 a.m. and I usually do it on an empty stomach and that works well for me.

This morning I didn't start my workout until 8:00 and I hadn't eaten and it didn't workout so well...I felt sluggish and decided I needed to stop and grab something to eat first. So...I've finished eating and I think I'll re-try my workout. I was doing the Hardcore Extreme with Intervals, but I think I'll do the circuit portion of that same DVD. I should be fine with that.

Susan---HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! I agree with Lora...you're not getting older you're getting better. I hope you have a great weekend although it sounds like you've had a few setbacks...it will workout just fine.

Lora---I'm anxious about the Sept. rotation too...but I don't know if I'll even be doing it or not. I guess I just like seeing what she comes up with. I'll bet she takes it easy on people this month considering last month's rotation.

Dallas---Glad you are feeling better and up to working out. I agree w/Susan that doing some lifting now should be fine. Holding out on cardio for a few more days is wise as well.

Sabrina---Hope the test driving went well. We're waiting to hear...

It's cloudy and rainy here...but it's all good. We need the rain.

Hi, I'm back!

I decided to give my new DVD CTX a try. I've been anxiously waiting for LL, so I did that. Wow! I liked it! What a way to start out again. I may do an upper body later. It felt really good to do something again. I'll check back later!

Susan - You have to contact Tracie Via email and she will give the secretary's email....then you send a check to her and she lets you know how much shipping is. I guess they are only available like that. I found out about them on the Forum. I think her name is Stephanie.
