Hardcore Rotation Check in For Friday March 3

Morning Ladies-

This morning I did 30 minutes of high intensity aerobics from the Biggest Loser DVD followed by Power 90 Masters Sculpt 5/6 and Rodney Yee's Power Yoga for Beginners (20 min). I put my own music on for the workout.

Charlotte - glad you had fun at the concert. That's funny that you didn't like ShineDown. I think the way the lead singer interacted with the audience was a good thing. I think his vocal talent is amazing also and I love the song Simple Man the way they do it. I do like Seether better though.

Have great workouts everyone. I'll try to check in from work. A bunch of directors got eliminated at work yesterday. My boss was sweating bullets cuz she got called up to the COO's office, but it was her boss that got the ax yesterday. She should be in a better mood today.

I am in the mood to purchase a new workout(s), what do you ladies suggest? Tempt me!! lol

I went thru the house yesterday that I am holding open tomorrow. It is a cute little house. I hope I can get some people to come thru. The only thing better than that would be someone actually wanting to make an offer(which very rarely happens). I can hope and dream though.

I ended up jumping on the bed for a little while last night until my DH brought in the trampoline from the garage. lol I guess he thought it would be better than the bed. I never got to jump on the bed when I was a kid, I thought it was fun!! LOL! :D

I have to go pay some bills today and clean some of the mess in this house before we have company Sunday for DH's birthday. Woo hoo what a fun filled day. ;-)

Hey Everyone!

Yesterday I went biking for 14 miles with DD and her friend. Did SS before that instead of what I had originally planned to do...stretched for time. The only thing that hurts is my crotch from sitting on the bike for so long! LOL! I really find it so amazing that some of these ladies here ACTUALLY run 14 miles! WOWZA!

Seether did announce before Shinedown came on stage that they were "messed up" so maybe they were quite a bit higher at this concert so maybe that explains it, dunno?


ETA: Sabrina, I love jumping on the bed too! WOO HOO! Fun, huh? I try not to do it too much though to keep the mattress nice and firm.

Anyhoo, today I still don't know what I am going to do. Gonna be one of those days that I just go in the sunroom and pick out some workouts to do. I know I have to work triceps and do 3 sets of BBM. Another beautiful day here. When I rode bikes with DD and her friend, it was close to 70!!!!

Sabrina ~ Oh, jumping on the bed was my favorite past time as a kid! lol I used to pretend I was a gymnast an do all these flips. If I fell of the bed that was out of bounds. ha ha!:7

Marietta and Susan ~ Thanks for your comments about that "Intervention" thread. I have great respect for the two of you, so it meant even more! :) The sad part is that I'm dealing with this all over again, to some degree, with my biological mother (I was adopted.). She has poor health as well (due to genetics and lifestyle) and she doesn't take care of herself. Susan, my mom passed away 2 years ago this May. :-(

Nicole ~ How's your dd? So, are we going to start that rotation on Monday? I'll give it a go!

Terri ~ How's Ashley and your son doing? Will you see them this weekend? Thanks for the b-day thread yesterday. You are too sweet!:)

Diane Sue ~ Thanks for the recipe! I'll print it out. Have fun this weekend and on your vacation with dh! You've got to be so excited!

Hi Charlotte!

Today, I did 30 minutes on the treadmill and CTX upper body split. What is it about that work out? It gets me every time! }( I also did one set of my version of BBM. My kids are off today and Monday. I'll probably take them rock climbing.

Today I plan on doing BBBB and 1 set of BBM, and tonight I will ride my Airdyne.

Charlotte you have been so good about getting in your BBM exercises!! You go GIRL!! Your butt is going to look so GREAT!! I can only bring myself to stick with 1 set:( Hey and way to go with that bike ride. I tell ya since I have been riding I can tell my legs are getting stronger.

Lora I need to get the biggest loser workout out again. I liked that one!!

Charlotte - Seether played before Shinedown at your concert? Seether played last at the one I went to. When you say "high" and "messed up" -- do you mean on mood/mind altering chemicals or alcohol?? or messed up in the other term?
 
Dallas I am still here hah a.... my DD is doing better!! Ya know once you get those antibiotics started they do wonders!!

GOODY I am so happy to hear you are going to do the Susan Rotation with me!! It looks like it is going to be a challenge, but I think is is going to do wonders for the mid-section!! Since I have been doing the TLT's reg. I can REALLY see I difference!!

Susan I am really excited about your rotation I think we are going to get kickbutt results!!!:7 I am LOVING the TLT's!!

Dallas-LOL! I would definately say that falling off the bed is out of bounds! LOL! Have fun with your kids. Mine were out yesterday. I have never been rock climbing. Is it fun?

Nicole ~ Do you think it will still work the legs? I'd like to keep up w/my version of freestyle too. Oh, I can't wait to do standing leg work! Maybe I can keep adding the BBM or will the TLT's be enough?

We were in the middle of the warm and cold front yesterday. Quite windy here, but the warm front managed to push thru. However, just a few hours away where DH works, it was in the 40's. LOL!

Yup, Seether played before Shinedown. I think the singer of Shinedown was on something for sure. He held the microphone for sometime and just stood and trembled with this long pause inbetween and sweat pouring off. He was definitely tripping on something! DH thinks it was just a show, I dunno. Seether says they were busy in the back getting "messed up"....so dunno on what.

Good Mornig Ladies,

Looks like everyon is getting in good workouts. Marieta-I am so happy that you can start he march rotation ith me on monday!

Yesterday I got a call from my dad that he was having breathing problems and bad pain. I dropped everything and went and took him to the Dr. Who sent us to the ER. Dad has heart issues and many other health issues so when something happens it is nothing to play around with. So we spent the day in ER with them doing tests. I called Dave and him and Ashley came there after her treatment. Dad was released and we have no real diagonise but he is to see a specialist on Monday. Dave and Ashley went and got food and we all went to my dads for a couple hours last night. He was feeling much better by then just tired.

Dallas-I am glad you had a nice birthday.
Nicole-You think TLT's work legs as good as SS?
Sabrina-What worouts do you have?

This afternoon Dave has a interview for a great job so I will be taking Ashley for her treatment and then I will be going over to check on dad. My workout will be split up with me going for a run soon and then tonight doing a ss workout and BBM one set.

Hello..

Hope all is well with everyone. I'm doing pretty good.

This morning when I woke up I really had no idea what I wanted to do. I finally decided to do CTX Power Circuits and then I did back and triceps. I'm planning to run and do biceps at lunch.

I've got a busy weekend ahead...but I've had a busy week so what difference does that make.

Lora - Hope you boss stays happy...at least until the next threat comes along.

Sabrina - Jumping on the bed?? If I did that I'd surely get a concusion...I'm positive of that. Sorry can't make recommendations on workouts...I'll leave that up to the pros around here. I'm sure they'll hook you up with something.

Charlotte - I'm impressed that you DD and her friend are hanging in there...hope they keep it up. Stay on em!! Yep, the butt hurts on the bike until you get used to it...they do have padded shorts though. Way to go on the 14 miles...you go girl!! Yep, some people run that...I'll be running that pretty soon.

Nicole - Glad your dd is doing better...just in time for the weekend. I'm still doing BBM...

Dallas - Hope you have a great birthday. Too bad about your mother...you know what to do. So did you run or walk on the treadmill? Rock climbing...that's cool! Let us know how it goes...do you do that often?

Terri - Sorry to hear about your dad...sounds like you were on top of it and things are okay. Please keep us posted regarding the outcome of his appointment on Monday. Hope Dave had a great interview and that it leads to a job. Take care Terri and don't run yourself to ragged...ok?

Hey that is so nice that Dave and Ashley came!! I know sitting in the hosiptal makes a LONG and exhausting day!! Hope your dad is doing better and I will keep him in my prayers!!

If you ask me I don't think ANYTHING works the legs like SS}(

Dallas I am going to continue my 1 set of BBM workouts...... Hey I don't know if that measly 1 set is enough, but hey it won't hurt:D Also I would like to continue riding my bike I have been pretty much riding 7 miles or above daily. I will just hop on it at night!!


Charlotte since you are doing 3 sets can keep us posted on your results?? Maybe we will soon be seeing you in a magazine;-)

Marietta when is your marathon, and how far are you going to run??

Good afternoon,
This morning I did Body Max cardio and the lower intervals,CTX Power circuits cardio and intervals all with 50#, then I did P90X legs & Back, Ab ripper X with jolies and a med ball, 100 kneeling crunches with the Bowflex. DH arrives tonight. He called and woke me at 4:20 this am to let me know that he would be here at 10 instead of at 5 like he was supposed to. Apparently there was a problem with the plane he was supposed to leave on in Amsterdam. I am really anxious. I am not sure how much checking in I will do over the next 3 weeks. I am thinking I will try and do a recovery week on vacation, taking my resistance tubing and P90X with me. I am finishing off the 7th week with Kempo in the morning. I would like to do a full upper workout in there before I leave. I will see. They have a gym there and water aerobics and stretch class. Usually when I go on vacation though I just do a little here and there or nothing:)

I need to run and pick up grandchildren. We are having our family day tomorrow.

Hey everyone...I'm back!

LOL Marietta! No, I didn't rock climb. I can just see me w/all the grade school kids. ha ha! I DID, however get a work out chasing my three yo all over the Sportplex! :7 He's too little to rock climb.

Sabrina ~ Go for the TLT's. Everyone seems to be raving about them. I think I need to give them a fair chance. It's so different from Cathe's work outs. Change is good right?;-) Do you like pilates? How about MTV Pilates Mix? Or Bryan Kest Power Yoga? I really like that DVD.

Nicole ~ I did one set of BBM today, but I also had slight DOMS from my last two leg workouts. Hey, one set is better than none! :D Tomorrow I'll do Tear it Up and I'll add hopefully 3 sets.

Terri ~ Gosh, you can't get a break! I'll keep your dad in my prayers. Hang in there!

Terri-How is your dad doing now? I hope he is doing ok. Let us know if you need to talk. How did Dave's interview go? I hope he gets the job. I will be thinking of you and your family Terri. I hope everyone gets better soon.

Dallas-I have thought about the TLT's since they have been mentioned a lot lately. I wish I could find her older workouts too.

Not much, just stressing on EVERYTHING! Dad is however doing better. Dave's interview went well (he will know moe next week) and I enjoyed spending time with Ashley when I took her to her radiation treatment. Howver I still feel overwhelmed ! Maybe it was just the stress catching up to me. What you doing Sabrina?
