My workout is done. I did Cathe's Low Impact Circuit cardio and upper body circuit premix 1 hr 6 minutes. and burned 476 calories. Max HR was 153. Then I did Kelly Coffey's 30 minutes to fitness weights workout 2, biceps, triceps and shoulders and burned 186 calories in 27 minutes no w/up. I followed with Shock Cardio Step moves combo 1 9 minutes and burned 72 calories( I want to learn the moves for eacch combo so this will move faster) Then I did Tracey's Yoga Solutions post lower body weights 25 minutes and burned 65 calories. Total time spent was 2 hrs an 7 minutes, calories burned wa 799, Max hr was 153. I ordered new workout shoes last night. I think the last Brooks I bought are not good. I bought them this last summer. I can see that my feet are moving over to the outside of the shoes and noticed when running that the right foot felt like there were indentations in th bottom of the shoe. I ordered Nike's this time. I sure hope they are better. I think the poor shoes has not been good for my knees either.
 
Great New Year's workout, Diane! I won't be getting one in today as it's flying day. A little later my fiance and I will be flying back to California. Yesterday, however, mom and I did the chest and back workout from Slow and Heavy. I'm a little sore today. Well, everyone, ttyl! Have a great day.
 
Nothing going on here. DH and I went out for a late lunch and I got shrimp fajitas minus the tortillas. Had a few chips and salsa though. That is all I have eaten so far today and here it is 7:eek:

Diane Sue - what Nikes did you buy? I just bought a new pair of Brooks Adrenaline's updated version. I haven't even tried them on yet, as they just came. Why did you switch? I thought you liked the Adrenaline's for PF? Now I'm worried.

No workout today, as we had extended hours. I just got home from a 8:45 to 7:00 pm shift. I will workout tomorrow, but my injury is flaring from too many mountain climbers and squat thrusts........so not sure what to do.
 
Nothing going on here. Just having a nice time together. Wish dh didn't have to leave Sunday.

Lora, I have had good luck with most of the Brooks shoes that I have picked. It may be overtraining on my part though but this last pair https://shopping.zappos.com/r/myzappos_order.cgi?order_id=71180320
seem to roll to the outside of my foot. On the last treadmill workout that I did I could feel some bumps in the shoe which made me think that the footbed had the shape of my foot. That particular shoe wore down pretty quickly. With all of the impact we do I guess I can see why, but I have had better luck with other shoes. My problem really is more over training with kettlebells, hills, and step ups. But I want good shoes. These did not seem to work as well as others I have purchased in the past,.
 
Lora, also I wanted to add that I did get past the plantar fasciitis and am really trying to avoid that issue as well. My Martial arts Mats, carefully choosing shoes, lower step have all helped me to rid myself of that problem.
