I didn't see a post here yet. Guess everyone has a busy weekend so I will get it started. I slept in till 9 this morning which is rare:)

I did CC Push Play for the first time this morning. I hit 5.75 miles so went on through the stretch to make it 6. Then I did Ab Ripper X adding a 10# med ball for some of it, and finished with Flexible Warrior Yoga 3.0 Swim segment. I burned881 calories and workout was 1hr and 39 minutes.

Diane Sue - Great workout! Did you like CCPP? I like that one. I like that it's long too. I was going to take the dogs for a walk later. Today is supposed to be KenpoX. I can't remember if I really sweat with that one or not. You know I can't sweat until Monday when I can wash my hair. I thought my hair would be gross by now, but not really. That's the beauty of having kind of thick hair I guess. It does have that waxy feel to it though. I will be happy to wash it. It kind of smells like the stuff he put on it though. I'm getting a little sick of that. And every morning I take the straightening iron to it to make sure it's stick straight so that it doesn't end up with any permanent funky kinks in it. I look forward to not having to do that every morning. I love that when I'm out in the wind and then come inside I just smooth it down and it looks the same as it did before I went outside. That's never happened before! Before it would end up a frizzy mess once the wind hit it.

I hope you have a great day. I have to go get my car washed. I was going to wash it myself but it's kind of windy and my neighbor mows his 10 acres EVERY SINGLE WEEKEND and there's nothing but dead stuff now so it's just blowing dust our way so that would just make my car mud. So I'm going to go to the car wash at the gas station for $4. It's a quickie but it will do the trick. Then I'm going to go buy some of those good candles at Bed Bath & Beyond - can't remember the brand at the moment - oh, Yankee maybe? But I want some fall smelling ones.

Morning Diane Sue:) I'm tempted with the yoga DVD you mentioned yesterday.

Not sure if I'll get a workout in or not today. Dh is hogging the basement again and I lose my motivation in the afternoons. Plus the shower thing...if I shower, you know I ain't working out after that. My daughter is coming over and I'll be hanging with her the rest of the day too.

Suz- Thanks for the link to that article you posted yesterday. I've been doing Red carpet Ready by Valerie Waters that he mentions in the article. I prefer to workout the way they mention, I love total body workouts. I feel like I accomplish more that way. I do like to switch it up once in awhile though, like P90X stuff. Interesting about the ab work or lack thereof too.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Suz, that would be nice to have my hair stay smooth and straight all of the time. The funny thing is if I try hot rollers the curl doesn't stay well. It just goes back to wavy. You would think because it has some wave that it would stay:confused: I really liked CC Press Play. They always make me want to push myself a little longer. When I do my own thing I want to bring the settings down to quick. Got my hr up to 176 this morning which is unusual for me. I pulled some of those hills up to 12% incline at 6mph:D
I read that article before you posted it. I have found some pretty good articles on that web site.

Dallys, I think that yoga dvd sounds good and with the 3 day presale the price is good and there is no shipping:D I am also really interested in Amy's Dynamic stretch dvd that she will be making pretty soon. It is funny because I have not problem bending over and stuff. I have noticed my children (in their 30s) bend over to get something and groan. They need to work on their flexibility JMHO I keep telling the grandchildren that I don't want to be one of those old people that can hardly move. At my age things like that become increasingly important:) Someone needs to make another decent foam roller dvd for myofascial techniques. Really does work well for working out those knots. I always lose my motivation later in the day.

Getting a slow start today as well. Of course I spent the last hour reading articles on Figure Athlete...thanks for the post. Suz...the Pumpkin scented candle at BB smells great!

Okay headed upstairs to do my workout (cardio fusion) then off to see my godson who is home from Oregon. :)

Everyone have a great weekend!

Dallys - I hear ya on the shower thing. If I take a shower I hate working out. But when I do two a day workouts I can't help it.

Diane Sue - Wow - that's a high HR for you isn't it? Yeah, ever since you mentioned that other website and it had a link to Figure Athlete I've been reading a bunch of the articles. I really like them.

Sonya - Funny...I did end up getting one of the pumpkin ones. :) Yummy!

I went out shopping for things for more recipes:D Made some cookies out of the Muscle Chow book and they are pretty good. I only made 1/2 a recipe though because it called for so much protein powder I did not want to wast it if they were yucky;) I haven't made my calories today. I only ate 1506 calories; 149 grams protein; 118 grams carbs; 38 grams fat. According to My Fitness Pal I need another 800 calories. I guess i will just figure it makes up for a couple of days that I was over a bit;) :(

Suz, yes, that was a really high hr for me. According to my hr monitor it was above my high target zone:0 Maybe it is because of the Imitrex?? I like the Yankee Candles. I can rely on them to smell good. I bought some avon candles recently and feel the ones I got this time are a waste of time lighting them unless I just want them for light:) I have gotten some pretty good ones from there though. Bath and Body Works has some nice candles too.

Dallys, I am the same way about showering. When I split up my workouts in the mornings to take the grandchildren to school, I sponge off and run a comb through my hair and come back to finish. And I hope and pray I don't have to get out of the car for something LOL I don't want to take two baths and redo my hair. That is one of the reasons I don't sit in my hot tub that much because I don't want to come back inside and wash off the bromine smell before I go to bed.

Sonya, I stayed up really late a couple of nights this week readin the Figure athlete articles.

Hope everyone had a great Saturday. I've been meaning to get to the mall for some more yankee candles, too. =)

Didn't feel very motivated to workout today...no energy...too much teaching! I did Amy's Slo Mo biceps and triceps, then did calf work on my own, ab section 2 and stretch section 2 from Amy's Abs and Stretch.
