Yesterday was plyo x and ab ripper x. Total calorie burn was 918. then went on a cool down walk with Bella (my dog) for another 170 calories. total was 1088 :) very sore from the run my quads and shins are talking to me. It's raining here today, so I may postpone the 2nd run until tomorrow.

Tonight is shoulder and arms. Eats have been pretty darn good for me. I made a beef stir fry and dh said it's one of the best things I have ever made-and he doesn't like asian inspired cuisine at all. I'll post later if anyone is interested. I got if from cooking light.

Morning Maniacs -

I did not feel like working out this morning. My pain has been flaring something fierce for a while now. I missed my workout yesterday cuz I had to go to fragrance school in Cleveland and had to be up at 3:00 am....so no workout.

This morning I did Barry's Bootcamp FatBlaster - Upper & Lower. Workout was 60" and I burned 599 calories.

Have great days everyone. Wish me luck, as I work 2 back to back ten hour days in a row and no days off until Sunday. No Holiday weekend for me, as I work Monday also. My schedule got crazy cuz the other girl went back to school and I'm sure it will get worse as Christmas approaches.
 
Today was leg day so I chose Meso 1, Week 1, Disc 3, Legs. Had a really excellent workout this morning. Not sure why because at around quarter after 6 while watching GH, I was thinking about going back to bed. :) I smoked this workout. I even enjoyed the plate exercises if you can believe that! :eek:

Warmup:
Walking Lunges & Plie Squats (body weight) - Lots of sets/Body weight
One Leg Touch Down Squats - 15 reps each leg **I liked this exercise
Firewalkers (band) - Green band - Lots of reps

Workout:
One Leg Elevated Lunges (1 dumbell) - 6 reps each leg - 20#
Deadlifts Wide Stance (dumbbell) - 25's - 15 reps
One Leg Slide Back Lunges with Paper Plate (dumbbell) - 12's/16 reps each leg.
Side Slide Lunges with Paper Plate - 12's/16 reps each leg
Wall Squat with Ball and Leg Extension (body weight) - 10 reps per leg. This is a stupid exercise.
Wide stance Squats (dumbbell) - 30's - 16 reps
Calf Raises (dumbbell) - 30's - 40 reps
Front Lunge Same Leg (dumbbell) - 15's - 15 reps
Stiff Legged Deadlift on Platform (dumbell) - 20's - 15 reps
Wall Squats Double Leg (dumbbells) - BW/8 reps (I just cannot go down to the floor to pick up the weights, it is too hard on my knees. So I just did the exercise with my BW.
Lateral Step Ups (1 dumbbell) - 15# - 15 reps each leg.
Drop Side Lunges & Stand with Leg Lift (1 dumbbell) - 12# - 15 reps each leg.
Sequential Lunge Into Front Kick Combo - 10's/15 reps each leg.
Squats Narrow Stance (dumbbell) - 25's - 15 reps
Calf Raises (dumbbell) - 25's - 40 reps
Deadlifts Wide Stance (dumbbell) - 20's - 15 reps

Skipped the Bonus section. Just wasn't into it. I did the Extended Stretch. Are all these the same stretch routine? It was the same one I did last week from Disc 12.

Theresa - Good Lord woman!!! Hope you are eating enough to give yourself energy for these workout. Nice job!

Lora - You were about 20 minutes away from me yesterday.
 
Deb - I was actually in Parma yesterday. Where are you from again? I always forget...but I know it's close to Cleveland.
 
Debbie-I'm following my nutritionist's plan. I have about 20+ pounds to lose, so right now I eat 1800-2000 calories (I'm 5'9" and 188 right now). My main goal is to be consistent and eat about 6 meals w/ about 300 calories each. I'll put my break down for you, I'd appreciate any feedback. I feel pretty good with this meal plan. I eat every 3 hours or so and stay satisfied. Oh and way to bang out the STS legs :)

m1-2 egg cups (made with eggs, egg whites, cottage cheese, 2 oz cheddar cheese, and chopped broccoli baked in ham-nitrate free deli meat) with 1 slice high fiber toast w/ 1 TB naturally more PB and 1 t pure fruit preserve

m2-protein smoothie (1 c berries, 1 c skim milk, 1/2 c kefir, 1 scoop protein powder)

m3-4oz beef stir fry with 1 c veggies, 1/2 c brown rice, 2 c salad w/ 2 T oil and vinegar

m4-2 oz low fat cheese, 5 kashi crackers, 1 c carrots w/ 1/4 c greek yogurt dip

m5-soup (beans, turkey, veggies, crushed tomatoes) and more salad if I feel like it

I did have some popcorn last night 94 % fat free. I do feel I may be eating a bit too much dairy. Calories came out to around 1900. I have lost 2 pounds so far this week.

I feel absolutely horrible and needless to say I did not want to workout this morning, but I only had two workouts left to finish this Meso. So I did it anyway, and it took everything I had to keep from walking away and say the hell with it!

Yes, It just this stupid cold. My head is all stuffed up!

I dragged myself through my workout this morning. I just wasn't really feeling like doing much this morning. I felt sick to the stomach most of yesterday and this morning. I think it is some new steroid allergy medicine the doctor gave me. I am not using it today. Anyway I started with Kelly Coffey's 30 minutes to fitness kickbox w/up then did STS legs disc 9, and followed with 15 minutes of workout one on Kelly's Kickbox. I then had to really run to get the children to school. I stopped at Starbucks on the way back to get some coffee, hoping it would help me feel like working out a little more. Would have liked to have got in some stretching/yoga. I just didn't feel like coming back and doing anymore workouts today. Total calories burned todau was 510.
DD was worrying about today being her last day in her 20's. She thinks 30's is getting old

Theresa - Your nutrition plan looks excellent to me. Nice going. You are eating enough calories and eating good food. So you should see results if you keep that up.

Debbie, all of the STS workouts have the same extended stretch. I like it, but was disappointed that it was the same so I have to do something else once in awhile so I don't get bored with it.

Lora, that is a lot of hours to work.

You gotta be kidding me. Why on earth would she only do one stretch routine? Wow, that bums me out. Oh well, I have tons of stretch workouts. Thanks for the info!
 
Theresa and Linda - Yes, I'm working a little over 50 hours this week and at least 42 of them were while standing! My aching back and feet. Sorry for the whine!

Fragrance school goes over all of the new fragrances coming out for the upcoming season, notes, info behind the designers who create them. We watched a really cool Christian Audigier fashion show that was extremely edgy. I loved it. Christian is the designer behind the Ed Hardy brand (Ed being the tattoo artist). Christian's fragrance just came out and I love it. It's blackberry, tangerine, coconut, some flowers and a base of amber. It smells yummy. I think we're gonna do a Christian Audigier runway show in our department after we launch it. Ed Hardy is also coming out with makeup sets this season -- which should be fun. Mostly it's like advertisements for the brands and you learn a lot about the people that create them (like stated above) and what they were trying to convey when they created it. It helps you sell it.

Anyway, speaking of work, I'm bummed cuz there is an opening in Lancome and I asked my bipolar boss about transferring (cuz that's what I ultimately want is to do makeup- but you have to work in fragrance first). However, I can't transfer cuz my sales-per-hour is not high enough. I'm 3 freakin points away from where I need to be....so they will hire from the freakin" outside!! Life is just not righteous!!!

nite ladies ....off to watch GH, pick my AM workout and off to bed before my next long ass day!
