Morning Fit Ladies -

This morning I did Amy Bento's Advanced Step Challenge. I had an okay workout, but I don't really enjoy this DVD. I've only done it about 4-5 times but I can't pick it up at all and end up doing my own thing half the time. She uses different terminology than we're used to and I'm not sure about her cueing....and then she doesn't break anything down...so it's hard to follow. I should have done Seasun..it's more fun.

I'm sitting here getting ready to eat my cereal with heat on my neck (so I can do my stretches) and I'm falling asleep at the computer! Great...it's only 6:00 am and I'm already sleepy. I really need to start getting to bed earlier.

Have great workouts everyone. I'll try to check in from work....but you know how that goes.
 
Morning I got my workout in early my son has football game tonight.
I did cathe superset workout using a 8-10 rep range-unless noted.
squat-70lbs -all the reps
deadlift70lbs-12reps
chestpress-90lbs-10reps
side raise/f raise combo 30lbs-all reps
lunges 70lbs-12 reps
chestfly 60lbs-10reps
pullover 60lbs-10 reps
rotor cuff 10lbs-8reps
bicep curls-70lbs-8reps
lying tricep 70lbs-9 reps
rear delt flys 40lbs-8 reps
concentration curl-30lbs-8 reps
tricep pushups 10
I need to up the wts on alot of exercises the ones I did 10 or more reps.I will do that next workout.

Good Morning Everyone,

Yesterday I didn't get to my weight lifting class - just did 5 1/2 miles on the local trail. The fall is coming and I love it! Today is DEFINITELY weights. I don't think my callused feet can take another long run. Probably do MIS or a combo of Supersets and PP.

Question - for those of you who workout in the morning - what time do you workout in the morning and also what time do you go to bed?

The weather is not good for biking today so I just did plyo's to Seether, Pink (Stupid Girl), FlyLeaf and a few others for about 30 mins.

Thanks Lora. You get up at 2:30}( }( and then workout to 3. Thats crazy!!! Arn't you like dead tired??? Well, I guess exercise really DOES keep you energized. I got to bed at midnight and get up at 8:30. I can never get to sleep at night.

Good afternoon ladies.
Todays menu is GS Chest and Tri (my Favorite)and abs.
I was rockin to imax 2 last night. I think the car dealer having me p'd off helped.
They are now today putting a windshield in it. I know it is going to make no difference. I know i will be right back tomorrow.
So I will be pumping mad again tonite. It helps with workouts.
You really pump when you are mad....
Work out at 2:30 am.
Oh, my i would just die. I would fall over the step or dump a dumbell on my head....

LOL Anne! Hope you have a good workout today. I love GS chest/ tri. IMAX 2 was on Fit TV yesturday. I have it, but I just watched it. They do change it when htey put it in an hour duration.

WOW! I'm definitely impressed with the morning workout times. 2:30-3:30-5:30.... maybe I'll give morning workouts a try again.

2nd Question - when you do the morning workout, do you do the whole workout then or do you split - evening and morning workout?

3rd Question (guess I'm just full of them today) - how long do you folks workout? You read TONS of articles that talk about a 30 minute fat-blasting workout, and a 20 minute toner... I realize that sometimes less is more, but can you really get what you need to do in in 20 minutes? I find that I'm not usually thoroughly warmed-up until at least 15-20 minutes have passed.

DB- I workout for as little as 2.5 hours a day. Usualy 3 if at the gym and 4 hours if at practice. But of course you don't have to work out that long especially w/ Cathe.

Yes, I do my entire workout in the morning. Sometimes I'll do abs or yoga in the evenings.

I workout for an hour to an hour and a half, depending on what I do.

This morning I did a 4 mile treadmill run, High Step Tr. Advanced Cardio and Lower Premix, GS shoulders and Stretch. I haven't stuck with a rotation this week. I am supposed to be getting Amy Bento's Step and Pump and her Stretch and Ab workouts tomorrow. So I am planning on using them Saturday.

DB I always workout in the mornings. I like to get started at 6am but sometimes it is later. Last year and most of the summer I tried to get up and get started at around 5 am. I do everything usually around 2 to 2 1/2 hours. There was a time when I spent more hours. To be honest I do not think the results were better doing longer workouts. I incorporate more stretching than I used to as well into my workouts. At my age I think I really need to work on keeping the flexibility.

DB- I usually WO around 12noon, or after 7pm. ONce in awhile I can do it around 10am, but not often. I do at the very least 45 min, to 90 min. 2 little boys take up alot of my time.:)

Still nothing yet today, but later tonight I will do something. Just feeling real tired, so takin it easy.

Hi! Can I join your check-in?

I'm doing a P90X rotation (I've done one before) and didn't see a check-in for that, it's pretty Hardcore, so I thought this might be a good place.:D

This morning I did a 45 min. Mt Bike ride with my dog (Carma).
I'll do legs and BackX + Ab ripperX a little later today.


Here's my wake up and sleep pattern:
I'm up at 6:30/7:00 and I usually do a short 40/50 min. bike ride or walk in the morning around 7:30 before work at 9:00. Workout after work about 3:00 and in bed by 9:30 or 10:00ish (watch TV until I fall asleep ;)) I likes my sleep!:p
