Today is my rest day. Went to church and then ran out to buy stuff for my bath remodel. I also purchased a Kashi Mediterranean Pizza for lunch. I hadn't eaten yet. I wanted to go to a couple of clothing stores but may do that later. I need to clean house. I will be back to shuffling grandchildren around on Tuesday. Where is everyone today?? Did I miss a check in post?

Hi Diane Sue!

I haven't worked out yet today. I can't decide what to do. So I think I'll eat some cookies. Darn it! I went to that new church this morning and I loved it. I saw a lot of people I knew and best of all a long lost friend!! It was awesome to see her! Funny thing is that the last time I saw her I remember she said that her doctor wanted her to try to gain some weight. She's always been really tiny. She still looks tiny. She's about 52 or so. The music was loud as promised - kinda like a rock band - a young group. The pastor is very energetic and great to listen to. A young guy - only 33. He has 4 little kids and had 3 of them go up for some little demonstration (the youngest is only 21 months old) and they were sooooo funny. They weren't in the service but their mom or someone brought them in. Anyway I think I'll go back.

I think I'll go read my Oxygen magazine and get motivated to do something. It's gorgeous outside so I should ride. I also want to go to TJ Maxx. Decisions, decisions.

Was your pizza good?

Cool about the church, Suz.

My workout was the first ab section of Amy's ASCIII, then Legs and Glutes, then three sets of ten leg lifts and fifty each side bicycles for a little more abs. I'll probably take a walk in the evening because otherwise, I will have been in the apt the entire day.

Hey Hotties! I did Dove's Bodies Volume #3 this morning and then hit Costco. Spent waaaay to much as usual there. Dh is making stuffed pork chops and I'm adding my contribution of boiling corn.:p

Suz- That's great you like the Church you went to and met an old friend.

Diane Sue- It's always fun (only after it's done though!) to remodel something in your house.

I've been exploring the food diary website www.myfitnesspal.com someone posted on OD and it's really good. The data base is awesome! It had everything I ate today, right down to the brand, no more having to find and enter your own information of the foods you buy. Can you believe that Pugliese Bread at Costco has 150 a slice? They are such tiny slices too! I love that bread... I'll miss it, lol.:( You all should check it out. It's much better than Fitday or Sparkpeople and it's free too.

Well I FINALLY got off my butt and went for a 5 mile run. Gosh I miss running so much. I wish it didn't hurt so much. :( The weather was just so nice - cool and fall like - that I really wanted to get outside instead of going to the basement. So it was worth it.

Hermia - I just read your last couple of posts - MTV church - yeah, that's kind of what it was like. Hehe. And American Eagle online? Oh oh - I'm in trouble!!! We have this store here called Plato's Closet and it's used stuff but they say it has to have been in the stores in the past year. They have a lot of jeans and tops that are American Eagle and you can great long-sleeved tops for like $6! And I've purchased a few jeans for $15 but sometimes that's not a great deal if you can get brand new on sale in their store so you have to be careful. But I go there a lot too. :) Didn't you have a date recently or am I dreaming???

Dallys - I hear ya! Whenever I go to Sam's Club I always spend way more than I intended. Why is that?

Suz, whenever I go to a store I spend way to much on extra things I did not go there for. LOL It was so nice outside here today too. I had so much to do and it was really tempting to go to the park with dd today. But I came home to work. I really liked the pizza. I usually don't eat a lot of bread and starches but enjoyed it and it was nice knowing that the crust was made from healthy ingredients.

Dallys, I saw that someone had posted that site. I have it book marked. It gets old having to put your own foods into a data base. Then if I make my own recipe and alter it I have to do that too. Keeping accurate data is a lot of work. I will do it for awhile then give it up. Yes, when I am done I will be able to look at it with satisfaction. Right now it is a mess LOL I had sanded paint all over me and up my nose. The dogs were peeking around the corner wondering what was going on but keeping their distance LOL

Hermia, I really like that first ab segment of Amy's Step Challenge III. I keep thinking maybe I should get a kettlebell. Not sure how much difference it would make over using a 15# dumbbell though.

Yeah, Diane Sue, that's kind of what I've been thinking too. Right now the dumbbell seems to be working fine, although I don't use a fifteen pounder, lol. I like that grasshopper move she has in there.

Suz--yep...american eagle online. And they have fifteen percent off sales fairly regularly. When one of those coupons pops up in my inbox...resistance is pretty much futile. I love shopping on line, too, cuz I need a double zero in shorts, skirts, and slack type pants, and they don't stock those in the store itself, much to my undying annoyance. That Plato's Closet store sounds cool; I would definitely be hitting that up if it were near me. Yes, I had a date on Thursday. =) It went well. He is a nice guy and easy to talk to and I would see him again, although I must say, I didn't feel raging chemistry. I'm not sure how important that is on a first date or whether it's no big deal.

sounds like there's a nice dinner on at Casa de Dallys! It's pretty much lean cuisine here, lol. I don't bust out my cooking skills often just for me, although I am trying to expand my repretoire (sp?) a bit.

I took that walk after all. Very pleasant and the park I walked to has nice benches for watching the sun set or the moon rise. Even smoggy Riverside is pleasant in the evening.
