Morning Maniacs -

Well, I work 8:30 to 7:00 pm today..........and I wasn't really planning on working out, but I felt guilty for eating 3 pieces of chocolate last night, so I dragged myself out of bed at 3:45 AM and did parts of two new workouts. Part of Jay Johnson's Bootcamp cardio & part of Kickbox Kaliente. Not a good workout again! Workout was 45" and I burned 398 calories. Max HR was only 140. Couldn't get my HR up for nothing. Not sure what's up with that. I'm not sure if I could even qualify today as an official workout, active rest day..........maybe.

We are having an Ed Hardy event at work today.....promoting the new Hearts & Daggers perfume. I get to wear my Ed Hardy tee shirt & jeans (Yay). We are gonna have a table set up with all sorts of Ed Hardy stuff....so hopefully, I'll have a good sales day :cool:.

Well, today was suppose to be Yoga X. Woke up with a screaming headache and a slight ache in my neck. I decided to skip it but I feel guilty about it now. I probably would feel better now if I did the workout but I couldn't imagine doing all those down dogs with this headache. Maybe I'll tackle it tomorrow and use today as my rest day.
 
No workout this morning. It should have been lower body Kettlebell goddess and lower metabolic workout with hills on the treadmill. I will try to get it in in the morning and make it my rest day. I got up early because I couldn't sleep and got ready to workout. The grandbaby woke up and I new it would be hard to workout plus I coughed a lot last night and was really tired. I will use today as my rest day and do that workout in the morning before church.

Debbie, it looks like two for us needed a rest day early:) Sometimes those workouts help me with the headache and sometimes I just come out worse than ever. I hope it gets better.

Lora, I don't generally feel guilty about 2 or 3 pieces of chocolate. Just eliminate something else. It is when it is a half pound of chocolate that I feel guilty:D
 
Today I did the Low Impact Circuit upper body circuit premix, but instead of the extra cardio segment, I did the abs.

Lora, I would totally not feel guilty about three pieces of chocolate, personally. That's hardly anything, and besides chocolate has antioxidants and a little indulgence is good sometimes! =)

Debbie, yoga can be strenuous...if I don't feel up to it, but want to do some stretch things, I love Ravi and Ana's Ultimate Stretch. Actually, I've got one of theirs too called Yoga Quick Fixes, and it has a headache relief section. I did it once, but I didn't have a headache at the time, so I don't know how well it works, lol.

Diane, hope you feel better on Sunday...sounds like you have a little something. There's definitely no way I'll be working out before church...8:45 is early enough as it is! =)
