Morning Maniacs -

This morning I did Cardio Kick Sculpt with Violet Zaki. Workout was 56" and I burned 540 calories. Max HR was 152.

I needed to do some kickboxing today. Bad day yesterday. Extremely stressed about my "numbers" at work. I have not had any sales last few days. I've been feeling like my chest is crushed. I swear this job is gonna make me have a heart attack. I tell myself not to worry about it...but I can't be like that, as I like to do a good job. I think it's ridiculous that they put you under that amount of pressure to sell. For gooness sakes, I don't need sales goals to push me to do a good job, as I'm a super motivated, ambitious person! I'll do a good job no matter what! I get up every morning and work out like a maniac for goodness sakes!! I've been looking for another job, but nothing yet. I'll be glad after I get thru today. Another long day on my feet. Sorry to complain...but I guess I'm PMSing and feeling a need to vent.

Laura - good luck with your job. I hate job interviews. They are stressful. I hope you can find something you like while your working there.

Diane Sue - Sorry your stomach has been upset.

Today was cardio, abs and stretch. My lower body felt great today. I think this is the first day that my glutes and hamstrings haven't hurt me in a long time. Wonder what's up with that? I heard family stress can cause lower body pain and maybe some of it was due to the fact that I've been so worried about my mom and this surgery. Now she's in the homestretch and I can breath. Possible I suppose. Whatever the reason, I feel great today.

For cardio I chose Cardio Coach #8 but only did Challenge #2 which is the 2 - 8 minute treks. Love this one. Did well with it, too. Then I stayed on my treadmill until I hit 3 miles.

Then for abs I chose Kick, Punch & Crunch Ab Work. Love this one! Love the pykes on the stability ball.

For the stretch I just did the one for KP&C.

CARDIO HR STATS:
35 minutes total
3 minutes total
13 minutes in zone
20 minutes above zone
3 miles travelled
(kind of wondering if that should be 2 miles, now I don't remember)
280 calories burned

Lora - I was going to suggest you look for another job, no job is worth that kind of stress. But I see you are looking. Hope you find something soon. Any good song recommendations? I can't find Hollywood Whore anywhere to download. Is there another name for that song???
 
Lora-your vent is exactly why I don't like sales. I don't miss that environment at all. I will keep you in my prayers and hope the right things happen for you. Hang in there, it has to get better soon.

Yesterday was p90x back and biceps (and I have doms in my biceps which never happens :) . workout was around 45 min (my hr monitor was acting up) and calorie burn was around 400-450. Then I went on a run, 9 min run with 1 min walk x3. Calorie burn was 645.

I weighed this am and no change. this is the 3rd week with no change. I have been 90%good with my eats and workouts are not the issue. I would be happy if I was seeing changes in inches but no dice. I have a meal plan from MFH that I am gonna try next week which alternated anywhere between 1600-1900 (sort of zig zag). That meal plan is originally how I lost 35 pounds. I guess I'm still eating too much currently. anyway, sorry to gripe.

Thanks for the well wishes re: work. I'm sitting here near tears right now. I'm so worried about selling my goal plus the $600 I'm in the hole for the week. It's the first of the month........so I'll be positive! I'm too old for this crap and I'm PMSing....so sorry I'm so freakin' whacked right now.

Deb - Hollywood Whore is a freakin' EXCELLENT song. That and I Almost Told You That I Loved You rock. Why don't you just get the whole Metamorphasis download from Itunes. It's worth the $10 somthing they cost. Good CD. Did you see my post from yesterday? P Roach is comin' to Y-town. I'm stoked! On a workout note, I can't believe you don't really like cardio and do so many of those Cardio Coach workouts. I really need to try to crosstrain more and hit the TM and Elliptical, but I dislike them for some reason. One reason is that there is no air circulation in my basement!

Laura - what kind of sales job are you getting? Maybe it will be more fruitful than selling women's fragrances (which aren't really a necessity right now). I know the clothing and shoe department do more sales than us.

Off to work maniacs.

ETA: Need opinions. I want to try to add in a yoga workout once a week and force myself to take a semi-rest day, but you ladies know I have difficulty doing that, especially when I'm stressed. I feel I need the release of lifting or huffin' and puffin' thru cardio versus being zen-like. Thoughts?

I downloaded "I Almost Told You that I loved you" song, it's good, I really like it. Can't find HW. My download source doesn't even recognize the song. I'll keep trying. I'd get the CD but I don't care for the group as a whole (sorry!). Cool on Papa Roach coming your way! Hope you have fun!
 
This morning I did Cardio Coach Candace and went 5.5 miles, 643 calories. I then did STS abs on the stability ball and Yoga Solutions post cycle mix. Total calories burned was 813 today. Max HR was 172. I don't know why I don't burn more calories on the treadmill than I do. I see others do the CC workouts and they really burn some calories. According to my treadmill though I burned over 900 calories. Even with all of those hills I wasn't close:confused:
 
Sorry I was MIA but have been running around like a mad woman planning, preparing and cleaning for DS's party. And this stupid cold is not helping!

Anyway yesterday was Plyo Legs which just about killed me, especially those one legged squat thrusts!:confused: Workout was 52 minutes and I burned 443 calories.

Today I felt so lousy when I got up I didn't want to do anything, but did anyway. I did 4DS HIS/LIS cardio only without much enthusiam. Workout was 56 minutes and I burned 401 calories.
 
I am still plugging along doing Insanity. Today was day 4 and I am liking it. Today was a cardio recovery day and tomorrow is pure cardio and abs.
 
Hi Girls

Today was Chest, Shoulders and Biceps at the gym. Good workout and my upper body feels fried.

Linda: Sorry about your cold I think I've caught it lol. I've got the itchy throat and headache.

Lora: The job I've applied for is also sales. Selling insurance urgh. Its not my ideal and I've been putting off applying for it for some time. Realistically I would love either to train to be a gym instructor although I don't know if theres much work round here for it. Or teach Maths. I love Maths and kids and I'm going to try a couple of hours a week volunteering at a local school. I'm 41 now so its time to do something I enjoy. I think if you do something your passionate about money will come. However I still need money to pay for the bills like the rest of us. Dilemmas dilemmas. Lora try and not let them get you down. I know its easy to say but try and do some extra yoga to help with the stress. All that pressure is not worth it.
