Good morning,

I am not sure what I will do today? I will try to get a weight workout in today instead of tomorrow. I have a dermatologist appointment tomorrow. Please keep me in your prayers .

I was going to workout this morning, never happened. My dishwasher died, I been doing dishes by hand. My dishwasher was full :( Been looking online for the best and quiets dishwasher. Gave up after 2 hours reading reviews and searching. I want one with a 3rd rack for my utensils. I have one now and love it. I will get my workout in eventually. BBl

Belinda, I got a new Kitchen Aid dishwasher last year and love it!!! This is my second one and I have never had a problem with either of them.
Mine has the top 3rd row rack and I like it. Good luck with the Dermatologist, I have an appointment at the end of July. I have a growth on the side of my face that my doctor just prescribed Efudex for, topical chemotherapy to get rid of it. I like that i can send a photo and they get right back to me with a solution if it does not look bad. I grew up on the beach and have been in the sun my whole life so it can take a toll on my skin, but it still looks good.

I cannot believe that it is June already. Tomorrow is my 59th birthday and I am shocked that I am this old already, though I feel as good as I did at 38 years old. This is what i did the past few days for workouts.

Friday- 5 mile walk, 3.5 in the am and 1.5 in the pm.
Saturday- Rest day
Today Sunday- Xtrain Disc #1 Chest, Back and Shoulders.
I really liked this workout even though it was high reps, x 16 for each exercise because it was a no repeat type of workout. I am looking forward to doing arms this coming week.

I will walk the pup tomorrow and that will be it for my workout.

Hi,

I finally went for a nice walk outside, it was a little cooler than yesterday. I also did a SBF live zoom Balance workout.

Diane - how are you feeling?

Jolie - thanks about the info on the dishwasher. Do you know the name of the kitchen aid dishwasher. They have so many. We had ours for 10 years never had problem until yesterday. Sorry you are going through the growth on your face. I grew up in Germany, hardly any sun. I do wear sun block, I am always in the shade. I hope your appointment goes well the end of the month. Mine is on my breast, it never sees sunshine, lol. My Rheum and UPenn both believe it’s from my injections. That is fantastic you feel as you did in your earlier years. Happy early birthday. Nice job on all your workouts. Are you doing anything special tomorrow?

Hi all! I went on the Cathe website to see if she still sells the tower unit so I can start doing barbell bench presses again. It doesn't look like she sells them anymore. Am I missing something? Also, I was looking for the diagonal block that goes on the step to make it an incline bench. Don't see that either. :( Bummer.

Today I did Xtrain Burn Sets - Chest, Back & Shoulders. Had a great workout, I will really feel this tomorrow. Liked this format but could have used a little longer rest between sets.

Belinda- I'll have to see what dishwasher I have, I love it and it has the top shelf for spoons, etc. I got it at Menards and it was very reasonable in cost. If you haven't gotten one yet, I'll let you know tomorrow.

Hi,

I saw the dermatologist today. It’s not cancer. Yeah! She does wants me to schedule a follow up appointment in 6 months.

I did SBF TB circuit after my appointment.

Debbie - yes, please let me know what dishwasher you have. I thought I had time after my appointment to stop and look at a few dishwashers. Maybe tomorrow. Cathe some of the Fit Towers on sale at the RT last year. Maybe if you contact Nancy from customer service she can help you out. I know Cathe kept a few Towers. The towers didn’t had the clips for the barbell.

The doctor's office called and made a follow up appointment for next week and told me he wanted me to bring back the mri disc with me and where I got my Bone density scan done so he could look at that. I was wondering if anyone was going to call.

Belinda, I am glad it was not cancer. My daughter checks out those spots when I come up with something. Our dishwasher quit working once. It was when the covid stuff was going on and getting appliances took forever. We had someone come out and it was over 300 dollars repair, but I guess all the electronic components the trigger each other 3 of them. It has been working for 3 years now so I feel we got our money worth as we were hand washing dishes for quite a while. Nice work on SBF TB Circuit after your appointment. Funny thing, my daughter had to wait 3 months for her washing machine replacement, so she put her clothes in the whirlpool tub with laundry soap then rinsed and hung to dry.

Debbie, nice job on X Train Burn Sets Chest, shoulders, and triceps today. I have the tower with the barbell hooks, but I rarely use them because I feel I do not lift heavy enough to need them.

Jolie, good job on the walks and weight workouts. Happy Birthday!
 
This morning I did RAW Kickbox #8 and had a good workout. I followed that up with a walk on my treadmill. Did about .5 miles on it.

Workout was 44 minutes, burned 354 calories, did 4306 steps and HR was 139/172.

I hope Kelly gets the rest of her workouts on Youtube. I don't see any of the Box & Pump workouts except for one she posted that is new. Same with her boxing workouts.

Belinda - I just had something weird taken off my shin, thank God it was only a wart. How does a wart get on your leg? Anyways, it's gone now. Glad yours isn't cancerous but always a good idea to keep your on it. This is the dishwasher I have, it's from Menard's. Diane - Thanks for the links! I will research and see what I can get for the best price. I'd really like to get a tower if it doesn't take up too much space. That is why I got rid of my bench, it was way too big and I wasn't lifting that heavy anymore. I probably shouldn't be lifting really heavy but it is nice to do a barbell press once in a while versus the dumbbells - just for something different.

Yesterday I walked the pup 3 miles in the am and 1 mile in the pm. Today I did something different, I wanted to mix things up. Today's workout was Cathe's Pyramid upper body, an oldie but a goodie, and had a great workout. She does go a little fast during this workout, so I paused a few times for me to set up for each exercise. I think I will be feeling this workout tomorrow. It is June Gloom weather here today, overcast and humid and very tropical. It is depressing when the sun does not come out for the entire day, it screws up my Sarcadium Rhythm.

Belinda, I am not sure which dishwasher I have, it is a high end stainless steel with no handle on the exterior. All stainless steel inside as well. I sit in the sun every day and us no sunscreen. It is proven that no sun and sunscreen cause skin cancer for most people. I have never used sunscreen, and I grew up at the beach and my skin looks amazing despite some sun damage. Skin cancer is not caused by the sun, it is caused by chemicals on the skin, seed oils, poor diet and not enough vitamin d from the sun. (My opinion and the natural health industry) This is a big money maker for the healthcare industry. I just put Ivermectin on my skin issue and in two days it is almost gone. I also put on Castor Oil and Frankincense DMSO gel and that has done wonders for it too! Hopefully this solves the problem and if it does not, I will use the Efudex they prescribed for the two weeks.

Debbie, great job with the Xtrain Burnsets workout and the RAW kickbox workout. Did you look on Facebook Marketplace for the gym equipment? I have found some risers on it before, and they worked perfectly with my step.

Today I did 2 hours of live dance zoom workouts plus SBF shoulders/stretch.

Diane - you are so lucky your daughter can check you out for those things. I remember you needed a new dishwasher during covid. Thank goodness, we don’t have to wait that long anymore, lol.

Debbie - thanks on the model of your dishwasher. I will make some calls tomorrow and see if the deliver/dealer in WV. A lot of companies are not licensed in WV. Having trouble with windows rights now. Great job on your workout today. That is funny and smart your DD put her clothes in the tub with soap. Very clever!


Jolie - I don’t sit in the sun too long, only to get some vit D. You already used to the sun living in CA. I am going to have to look into those products you mentioned. I am glad Castor Oil and Frakincense DMSO gel is helping. I don’t like putting lots of chemicals on me.

Today I did Jessica Smith Youtube Walk and Talk, 19 minutes, 128 calories. I figured since the discharge papers said to walk starting with 5 minutes and work to increase time and distance I should be able to this. We had a storm this afternoon. The tornado warning sirens started going off just as the rain burst and winds hit. You could not see anything looking out the window it was so hard. By the time we checked the news it had just moved over us. Then it got quiet again and Harvey had to go out and check all of the water in the yard.

Debbie, nice work on Raw Kickbox #8 and treadmill walk. I generally have the fit tower taken apart and leaning on the wall unless I know I am going to use it for a while. I do not have room to keep it set up all of the time like I did at the last house. My grandchildren climbed and hung all over it back then.

Jolie, good job on the walk and Pyramid Upper Body. I am feeling pretty good today.

Roselyn, nice work on leg day.

Belinda, wow that was a long dance workout along with SBF shoulders and stretch.
 
Today I did XTrain Burn Sets Bi's &Tri's and had a great workout. This is what I did:

Traditional Curls: 15's - 2 sets/10reps - 1 set/14 reps (to failure)
DB Curls w/Twist: 15's - 3 sets/10 reps
Concentration Curls: 20# - 3 sets/10 reps
Burn Set - Crazy 8's Hammer Curl: 15's - 24 reps 24 (killer with 15's)

Triceps Pushups: 4 sets/2 sets/2 sets (tough stuff! Did on my knees)
Lying Triceps Extensions: 12's - 2 sets/10 - 1 sets/12 reps (to failure)
One Arm Kickbacks: 10# - 2 sets/10 reps - 1 set/15 reps (to failure)
Burn Set - Overhead Band Extensions: Skipped

I also got on my treadmill and walked about a half a mile. Workout was 49 minutes, burned 298 calories, HR was 117/150.

Jolie - Great workout! You know, I've been hearing this about SPF creams and that if you don't use seed oil you don't have to wear SPF. And what do they mean by seed oil? Body creams or food? Or both? How do you know if a skin cream has seed oil in it? My question is, what do seed oils have to do with anything? I find that odd. I've always worn sunscreen on my face in fear that I will get skin cancer and look older. I also wear it on my arms and legs when I cut grass or will be in the sun for a few hours. Isn't that what we are taught? The sun's UV ray causes skin cancer. Is it true? I don't know. I guess I need to do some research but I am not a researcher. LOL!! So give me some feedback on this, please. When you have time.

Roselyn - I was wondering where you were!! Nice workout!

Belinda - Great job with your dance workout. Diane's daughter put her clothes in the tub with soap, not mine. My daughter would never do that! LOL!!

Diane - How are you feeling? Are you in any pain with the surgery? I hope you will be feeling stronger and better soon. I have one of the fit towers (well, just the bench press part of it) in my cart on Amazon. I'm waiting to see if the price drops a bit but I bet it won't. It's only $57 but still. Nice job getting that short walk in. You are getting back at it!

Today I did SBF Lower body barre (short workouts) and KCM YT Upper Body Burn out. I had a great workout. Who signed up for her YT workouts? I may sign up, lol

Diane - great job on JS walk & talk. We had tornado warning a few days ago. This weather is crazy. Glad you fine. I did a beginner and intermediate belly dance. The beginner got my HR up, which was technique and the intermediate was for some reason easier than the beginner, weird. If I double the dance workout, she usually goes easy on the beginner. It’s a lot of fun. I am learning so much. It’s an art, really. SBF she does a lot of mobility in her workouts, lots of stretching. I looked at Costco for a dishwasher. They only had one in the warehouse. I ended up spending way too much $$ picking up other things, lol.

Debbie - great job on your weight workouts. I meant Diane, lol. Sorry….I was in a hurry this morning. I had to get ready for DH follow up appointment.

Good Evening,

I did Raw TBTS Lower Body and then we went for a walk after we came off the lake. We are headed there next week for the ent week no ballg running and no contact appointments finally got a pair that work once I get my brain trained.

Debbie-my DH has heard the same thing about sunscreen we grew up in an age wear we didn’t wear any and spent our time outside or at the lake. Skin cancer is on the rise because of them
