Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for week of July 22

Today I did Cardio Coach #3, I just wanted something short but intense. It took me a while to get my HR up today, not sure why? I did well with this workout. I then did the Yoga Stretch that I love so much by Karen Voight. My muscles are tight again.

Finally, our internet is back up. Today's workout was Beast Bulk shoulders week 3, 35 min, 210 calories. I will start week 4 tomorrow. I then did X train cardio leg blast cardio only mix, 33 min, 248 calories. I finished off with Shiva Rea's Yoga Shatki back bend prep, shoulder opener, and lunge segments, 16 min, 51 calories. Total time was 84 min, and calories burned 509.

Roselyn, did you get the Beast links that I posted yesterday?

Debbie, sometimes when I am tired it takes awhile to get the HR up.

Today was Gym Style Legs for me,cardio tomorrow just don't know what i am doing yet and I like to know, I should have a rotation ready for the week
 
Roselyn, I am glad that you got it. I work a lot better if I have a plan for the week. I waste way too much time trying to think what I need to do without one. It also makes it easier to look back at a certain rotation plan and see where the weak areas are.
 
Today I did the Lower Body Premix of STS Total Body. It was trisets and I had a good workout. Unfortunately, after last Thursdays Pyramind workout, my upper shoulder has been bothering me again. Not sure why, I was really careful with that workout but I think it was too many reps in the ultimate end. I'm trying to massage it out again with the tennis ball and that does help. I'll have to be careful on Thursday if I decide to do the upper body premix of the workout I did today.

Dumbbell Squats - 15's/16 reps
BSS - Dumbbell - 12's/16 reps
Power Barbell Deadlift - 25#/16 reps
Repeat with 12 reps each exercies

Triset #2
Narrow Stance DB Squats - 15's/16 reps
Dumbbell Static Lunge - 12's/16 reps
Stiff Legged Deadlift - 35#/16 reps
Repeat with 12 reps each exercies

Triset #3
Side Slide Lunge - 12's/12 reps
Back Slide Lunge - 12's/12 reps
Wide Stance Deadlifts - 35#/16 reps
Repeat with 12 reps each exercies

Good workout, minimal time. I think this one said it was 22 minutes but with the warmup and cool down it about about 35 minutes.
 
Today's workout was Body Beast Legs, 42 min, 324 calories. I then did Les Mills Pump Core Attack, 29 min, 267 cal.. Max HR was 165 today :D I finished with a balance core workout with pods, 16 min, 101 calories. Total time was 89 min and calories burned 692.

Debbie, maybe you could just do less sets of the moves that bother your shoulder when you do the upper only of STS Total Body. I think there is an express premix that has less sets. That may be the one where there is a y move that makes my shoulder hurt. I would have to go back and look at the work sheet.
 
No workout today, we are having our metal roof delivered today. They will be here soon.

Diane Sue - I'm feeling better today, we'll see how it goes. I will definitely go light tomorrow.
 
Today was Body Beast Bulk Arms Week 4 35 min, 207 calories. I followed with Ab Circuits weights and plated abs, 29 min , 96 calories. I finished with X train all out low impact Hiit floor only mix, 22 min, 161 calories. Total time was 71 min and calories burned 464.
 
Roselyn, I am on some Beachbody Challenges. It seems a lot are getting nice results just doing only T25 results and following a good nutrition plan. I am understanding that they are pretty tough. I think in one of the latter weeks on the third phase there is a doubles workout. I also think that it is more of a weight loss/metabolic plan. I am sort of interested in Phase three which is the Gamma phase. There is a weights throughout workout, a sprint workout, and an ab workout in that one that sound good looking at them. I don't think any have reached that point yet though. The main set is Alpha Phase and Beta Phase. Anyway, I put the Gamma phase on my birthday wish list for next month and we will see what happens :)
 
Today was STS Upper Body Premix which is a tri-set workout. Went light because my shoulder and upper back has been bothering me this week. I had an ok workout.

Triset #1
Flat Bench Barbell Press - 35#/16 reps
Chest Flyes - 12's/16 reps
Dips
Repeat with 12 reps - did less on dips, that didn't feel good.

Bonus Burn
Close Grip Pushups - 8 reps
Standard Pushups - 16 reps
Did on my knees.

Triset #2
Barbell Rows - 25#/16 reps
One Arm Row - 15#/16 reps
Standing Dumbbell Curl - 12's/16 reps
Repeat with 12 reps - the rows bothered me so I stopped when it started burning

Bonus Burn
Seated Band Curls - Pink Band

Triset #3
Standing Overhead Press - 10's/16 reps
Upright Row - 25#/16 reps
Lateral Raise - 5's/16 reps
Repeat with 12 reps
 
Today I did Les Mills Combat Ultimate Warrior. I then did Beast Abs, and Ab Circuits pilates based abs. Total time was 82 min and calories burned 503.
 
Today I did one of my Cardio Coach mixes and had an ok workout. I just didn't have any energy this a.m. I slogged most of it. But at least I got it done.

Today's workout was Beast Bulk Back week 4, 29 min, 155 cal.. I then did Cathe's Two the Max adding the bonus slide and glide segment, 59 min, 530 cal.. I finished with Shiva Rea Power Yoga Flow Fire and Water segment, 22 min.. 80 cal..
Total time was 1 hr 50 min, 765 calories.
