Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for week of 8/20

Today I did Bryan Kest's Power Yoga Energize again. It's getting easier but there are still a couple poses I can't do for the length of time he does them. I can finally do reverse prayer which is a huge feat for me considering how tight my shoulders have been. That pose alone makes my shoulders feel really good afterwards.

I feel really good right now, my body is warm and stretched. I really love what yoga is doing for me!
 
My workout today was Beast Build week 3 Tempo Back and Biceps 48 min, 153 calories. I then did Les Mills Pump Combat, 45min, 330 calories, max hr 161. I finished with Shiva Rea's More Daily Energy evolution heart flow segment 21min, 76 calories. Total workout time was 1 hr 53 min.

Today was cardio and I chose Cardio Coach #6 with Candace. Had a good workout, wouldn't say it was puke status, but close. I didn't sleep well last night and really didn't feel like doing this. But I made myself get on my treadmill and go for broke.

Today was Beast Cardio 30 min, 222 calories, max hr 159. I then did Beast abs 11 min, 60 calories followed by Bob Harper's Yoga for the Warrior yoga abs 17 min, 57 calories. I ended with Yoga Max Express workout#2 118 calories. Total time was 92 min and calories burned was 457.
 
Today was yoga and I chose the 45 minute one from Karen Voight called Yoga Sculpt. Not a very hard workout but I like it. Gives me some good stretching and some of the poses make my legs burn. She does some good ab work in this one.
 
This morning I did Body Beast Shoulders, 38 min, 202 calories. I followed with To The max w/u, solid ste, step tabata, fitness tabata, low impact slide and glide tabata, core and stretch, 43 min, 304 caloires. I fiinished with Amy's Hip Hop Walk skipping the warm up doing the first 16 min, then the cooldown and stretch, 23 min 144 calories. Total time was 1 hr 44 min and calories burned was 650.

Today was cardio and I chose one of my Cardio Coach mixes. I was so close to just going back to bed, I have been so tired this week. I'm really not liking having to workout so early, but I know I won't do it when I get home so I don't have a choice. I sucked it up and got on my treadmill. Had a really good workout and now I'm glad I stayed up.

Anyone watch the show "Revenge"? I got the first season from Netflix and watched the first 5 episodes. I'm hooked. I can't wait to watch the rest of them. I know the new season begins Sept. 30th. I'm hoping to be able to watch them all by then.
 
Did To The Max Extreme and some extra ab work. Going to be MIA for a long weekend with hubby and friends at Lake of the Ozarks, yesssss, no work, no housework, no cooking.....RELAXATION!!!!
 
Today I did Body Beast Build block week 3 chest and triceps 49 min 190 calories. I followed this with P90X2 Yoga 66 min and 10 minutes of budokon strength and flexibility. I was wondering why my time was off and realized I had scheduled myself to do Beast Tempo chest and triceps. It doesn't really matter because they give the choice of doing either one. My triceps were still sore this morning. I am not sure if it was some of the Tempo back and biceps work on Monday or maybe a combo of that and the yoga. I would kind of like to change it up and do Tempo back and biceps again on Sat.. I really like the tempo workouts and during the bulk block that I start next week there is not an option to do them. My biceps were sore and I have not had that happen in quite a long time.

Debbie, getting up early is hard. Right now I don't have to get up as early as I used to. It becomes a habit though. I just hate when I stay up late and have to drag out of bed. I think it hinders my performance some.
I haven't heard of that show. I will have to check out Netflix:)
 
Today was yoga and I did about an hour of P90X Yoga X. I like that one, it's tough. I was sweating like crazy. I really wish it wasn't an hour and half workout. I wish they would have sort of shortened it to an hour. It is a great workout, though.

I'm doing so much better with the poses and the stretching in general. I can now turn my body to do prayer twist and all those twisting moves. When I started this, I could not twist and do any of those moves. So I'm finally seeing some dramatic changes. I can flow through the poses quickly and with ease instead of being very careful not to pull a muscle doing them. It's awesome! I need some new yoga workouts, though. Getting tired of the ones I have.

This morning was week 3 Build legs Beast workout, 38 min, 231 calories. I then did Les Mills Step, 31 min, 243 calories followed by Les Mills Hardcore Abs 15 min, 68 calories. I finished with Les Mills Flow 20 min, 58 calories. There is only 2 min of stretching on the Beast and 1 min on Les Mills Step. I felt I needed the additional stretchin.

Debbie, I like P90X Yoga too. It always felt so long. I am glad that you are getting so much better with the yoga. P90X2 Yoga is 66 min so it is better as far as time. Tony has several yoga workouts in his One on One workouts.

Roselyn, enjoy your long weekend. It is always nice to get away.
 
Today I did Beast Tempo Back and biceps 48 min, 232 calories. I followed with Les Mills Pump Sports Attack 29 min, 243 caloires. I finished off with budokon strength and balance no meditations or spinal w/up, 32 min, 162 calories. Total time was 1 hr 49 min and calories burned 645.
