Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for week of 8/13

Diane: Very nice shoulder work, ouch.....I will be adding more cardio as well. To, my surprise I got my Body Beast today; tonight I plan on viewing 1 or more dvds (i hope) really want to check out Max Xtreme:p I feel this is one workout series I will finish to completion:cool:

Teddy, I did not do that well on shoulders. I used to go way heavier but started having this neck and shoulder pain and it is not worth seeing how high I can go. That and I do not want big traps. I think even some of the men looked sort of hunched over but, that may be overworking one area to build another. We all have our strengths and weaknesses.
I am glad you got your dvd's. Do you mean the premix from Cathe's To the Max or another workout?

Today was Yoga Max and it seemed fairly easy today. Still having trouble holding some poses, especially ones with my arms up, like Warrior 1. My shoulders get really tired and start burning. But other than that, I did really well. Sweated pretty good with this one as well.

Happy Friday Yay :D

No workout this morning. I did not want to get up this morning, I laid there thinking hm.....should I call off:eek: went back and forth and decided to come to work argh..........................

Body Beast, I ended up watching 4 of the dvd's (that's why I couldn't get up) it was 11:30 when I turned over, good thing my lap top shut down, lol. So far, I like these workouts.

Diane: Shoulders I DO NOT push hard I really feel it’s' not necessary at least for me, I go for toned shoulders not bulk. Therefore, if and when I do shoulders I be choosing light weights too. BB cardio I was like dam! tough stuff. So far me like:) Concentrating on lean workouts. Yeah I meant say To The Max

This morning I did Body Beast build week 2 chest and triceps, 49 min, 202 calories. I followed this with P90X2 Yoga 64 min 220 calories. Total time was 1 hr 53 min and calories burned was 422.
I had to rush through a shower and head out at the last minute. Lots to catch up on so I won't post weights today.

This morning I did Body Beast Build legs week 2nd time legs 38 min, 284 calories. I then did Body Beast Abs 11 min, 53 calories using 10#, followed by Ab Ripper X2, 16 min, 68 calories. I wanted a little cardio so I did Mindy Mylrea Tabata Trek cycle only w/u, standing tabata rnds, seated tabata rnds, and 2 of the standing seated tabata rnds, 15 min, 115 calories.( I would have done all but had to stop because we are leaving town if this rain lets up)Total time was 80 min, calories burned was 520.

straight leg dead lift ez bar 15x 37#; 12x 42#; 8x56# right
15x37#; 12x 42#; 8x56# left
Giant set
single leg calf raise 30 sec left 40# then r30 sec right 40#
seated calf raise (I chose to use the ez bar because it was more comfortable that the bowflex weights on my thighs)
61# 30 sec
in and outs 30 sec
Repeat the whole set same weights

Teddy, I do that all of the time. Read up on something or write out workout plans and preview, then so tired my performance is crappy when I get up.
