Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for week of 8/12

Today was another Cardio Coach mix workout. I was insane when I put this one together. Good Golly! It was tough. This is the Candace mix I did using her Run Fit workout and her CC #6 workout. Tough, tough, tough!!!

It was a great Monday morning workout. I'm shocked I did this one so early in the morning!
 
My workout was nothing that great. I did Beast Build back and biceps, 51 min, 243 calories. I wanted a little cardio with no jumping so chose Cathe's Slide and Glide doing the cardio only premix 31 min., 206 calories. Workout was 82 minutes and calories burned 449. Just not really feeling it today. Maybe because I spent a lot of time working outside yesterday in all of that humidity. It was raining again when I got up this morning and now the sun is beating down. No desire at all to go back out :)

Roselyn, how do you like the T25 Gamma workouts ?? I do plan on getting them but am waiting till I know if someone else got them for my birthday in a couple of weeks.
 
Today was the Lower Body premix from STS Total Body workout. Had a great workout. I really love this one. It's in Triset form.

This is what I did:

Triset #1
Dumbbell Squats - 15's/16 reps
BSS - Dumbbell - 12's/16 reps
Power Barbell Deadlift - 35#/16 reps
**REPEAT with 12 reps each set

Triset #2
Narrow Stance DB Squats - 15's/16 reps
Dumbbell Static Lunge - 12's/16 reps
Stiff Legged Deadlift - 35#/16 reps
**REPEAT with 12 reps each set

Triset #3
Side Slide Lunge - 10's/16 reps
Back Slide Lunge - 10's/16 reps
Wide Stance Deadlifts - 35#/16 reps
**REPEAT with 12 reps each set
 
Today was back and I did T-25 speed again

Diane Sue I really like the gamma workouts, the speed one has left me dripping with sweat, although it is new to my body right now but a really great cardio, have not done all yet but that one and pyramid were winners.
 
Today I did Beast Build Chest and Triceps, 49 min., 217 calories and Beast abs 11 min., 61 calories. I then did Les Mills Combat 60 Ultimate Warrior, 53 min., 400 calories. Total time was 1 hr 53 minutes, 678 calories.

Roselyn, thanks. I have been asking people thoughts that I kind of know what workouts that they seem to like. I am really wanting it.

Today was cardio and I chose Cardio Coach #1. Just wanted a quick one this a.m. Did well with the workout and I got a good stretch in afterwards.

Today I did URX-MT Patrick Goudeau metabolic strength cardio interval, 44 min, 400 calories. I then did budokon flow and flexibility, stopping when my knee started hurting from some of the folding the knee in and coming up off the floor. 30 min, 128 calories. Total time 74 minutes and calories 528.
 
Today was leg day for me, did legs and glutes and some ab work.

My son starting packing today we take him friday to college:( This is heart wrenching. A new chapter but still so sad.
 
Today was upper body so I did the premix from STS Total Body. I went light because my upper left side is in knots again. Not bad, but I sure can feel it starting. Had a pretty good workout, though. With some of the exercises I stopped short of the total reps. I did what I felt was safe for me to do.

Triset #1
Flat Bench Barbell Press - 40#/16 reps
Chest Flyes - 12's/16 reps
Dips - 16 reps
**Repeat with 12 reps

Triset #2
Barbell Rows - 35#/16 reps
One Arm Row - 15#/16 reps
Standing Dumbbell Curl - 12's/16 reps
**Repeat with 12 reps

Triset #3
Standing Overhead Press - 8's/16 reps
Upright Row - 20#/16 reps
Lateral Raise - 3's/16 reps
**Repeat with 12 reps

I also did the Abs from this workout. I like this ab workout.
 
Todays workout was Body Beast Build Shoulders, 39 min, 209 calories. I then did Kettlenetics with Michelle Kai, 47 min., 303 calories. I finished with Yoga Shatki shoulder openers and lunge segments 12 min., 32 calories. Total time was 98 min and calories burned 541.

Debbie, nice work. I modify and stop where needed. I did not do all of the trap work on Beast shoulders because I was afraid of triggering neck pain and a headache. I shifted to some delt work on the superset instead.

Today was cardio and I had a kick @ss workout. I chose one of my cardio coach mixes - one of the hardest ones - and did it and had a great time. However, three things when wrong: My treadmill didn't start when I pressed on the 3mph button. I had to unplug it and plug it back in and it seemed to be ok. My HR monitor kept losing track of my HR - really irritates me. And my MP3 player decided to stop after the 3rd challenge - I had one more challenge to go. I had to plug that thing in (even though it was fully charged) to get it to come on again. I think the battery is about dead on that thing. Oh well. Still had an excellent workout. :)

Today was a short workout. DH came in while I was doing some yoga and wanted to go to the store and to lunch so I stopped and showered. Tomorrow I will do Biceps and Triceps. Workout was Cardio Combat Surge with Kimberly Spreen, Med Ball Mix only. I like this because it gets the HR up a little and you get some weight work in with the med ball and a lot of core. 31 minutes, 220 calories. I then did Shiva's Power Yoga Flow Twisting Kriya and Forward Bends and Hip Opener, 27 min, 73 calories. Total 58 min, 295 calories.
 
This morning I did a bits and pieces combo. I started with To the Max slide and glide w/up and tabata, then Crossfire bonus low impact tabata, and finished with X train All Out Low Impact Hiit slide and glide, 25 min, 157 calories. I then did Cathe's X Train Biceps and Triceps mix rounds 1-5, and Bonus Delts, 35 min, 169 calories. Followed with Rev Abs Merciless Abs 15 min, 69 cal.. I then did Shiva's Power Yoga Flow Mandala Namaskar and Calorie Blast Yoga strong body strong mind segment 31 minutes. Total calories burned 503, 1 hour 46 minutes.
 
Today I worked bis, shoulders and chest, did some ab work.

Got back yesterday afternoon from taking my son to college, had a terrible cry when I got home and saw his room:( My oldest daughter still here and going to school but sending my baby off was hard!!!

on another note and I know I have asked before but forgot to research what HR monitors do you guys recommend?
