Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for week of 2/11

Finally feeling back to normal!

Today I did Jillian Michaels Yoga Melt Workout 1. Had a really good, sweaty workout. I like those workouts, I just wish I could mute Jillian. She's annoying.

Then I did the ab work from Step, Jump & Pump. It's been a LONG time since I've done ab work. Felt good. I need to keep up with that.

This morning I worked out a schedule for the week. Yesterday was a rest day. I started with X Train burn sets warm up and biceps, 18 min, 132 cal.. I then did Les Mills Combat 60 live, 53 min, 468 calories, max hr 163. I finished off with X Train tricep 100 rep challenge and core #1, 16 min, 86 cal.. Total time was 87 min, calories burned 686.
I am wanting to get in all of the 100 rep challenges each week.

My schedule this week is
Mon todays workout:)
Tues. Les Mills Combat Hiit Power, Burn Sets back and shoulders, and 100 rep hip thrust. Finish with Combat Inner Warrior Strength and Stretch
Wed. Les Mills Combat 45, Burn Sets Chest and Triceps, 100 rep challenge biceps. Yoga

Debbie, glad to hear that youi are back to normal again:D

Oh, Diane Sue thanks I am going to use this this week too.

Debbie, so glad to here you are feeling better.

I did Les Mills 60 and some xtrain hiit, I used one of your days from last week,Diane Sue ;)

Roselyn, I am enjoying mixing the X Train and Combat together. I had to check out the Power Hiit because I knew it had some weights in it. That helped determine where I placed the different weight workouts. This way I feel I am getting some nice weight work in along with Combat. I keep adding bits of the cardio from X Train because they look like so much fun and I really want to get a bit of feel for them so I know how I want to incorporate them later.

Today I had a kick ass workout. I did the entire Press Play workout and I had a puke status workout. I really did well with this one and just didn't want to stop! Burned some major calires as well!

CARDIO STATS:
67 minutes total
2 minutes below zone
15 minutes in zone
51 minutes above zone
602 calories burned
3.5 miles traveled

 And I even woke up with a pretty bad headache. I took some Ibuprofin and felt good by the time I worked out.

Thanks everyone! I'm back to normal again. Whatever that is! LOL!

Morning :)

I have been gone waaaaaaaaay to long, so much has and is happening. But, one thing I know is GOD IS GOOD, that being said my niece is breathing on her own, no machine. But, she is still the same unconscious

Teddygirl, needs to destress before I get sick; so this morning got up and got busy. I started with a 10 minute w/u on my treadmill then XT chest shoulders back. I really missed you guys :)

Debbie: How is your mother doing?

This morning I did Combat Power Hiit 1, 30 min, 251 calories. I then did X Train Burn sets back, and shoulders, 100 rep challenge hip thrusts, also Hard Strikes conditioning drills using 8#. 45 min, 265 cal.. I finished with combat Inner Warrior Strength and Stretch, 18 min, 65 calories. Total time was 93 min and calories burned 581 calories.

Roselyn, you are welcome. I am getting some ideas for next week. The two Hiit workouts switch up so their won't be as much weight work as, Plyo Hiit only picks up a dumbbell once. I will let you know what I come up with.

Teddy, so good to see you back. I am sorry you have had so much going on. Destressing sounds like a good idea.

Debbie, great workout today:D Glad that the headache improved. I had one the other day through the entire workout but after I started the yoga it just disappeared.

Today I decided to try weights again. I was very conscience about how my left shoulder blade area was feeling through this workout. Almost EVERY exercise irritated it and made it burn.

WTH?

So I stretched after each exercise. It feels a little tight right now, but not too bad. I really need to go see a sports doctor and figure out what is going on.

I did 3 sets of 15 reps with a 30 second rest between each set.

Leg Press Station - 125#
Squats - 50#

Bench Press - 45#
Incline Flyes - 12's

Shoulder Press - 8's - 1 set of 15, then 2 sets of 10

Dumbbell Curl - 10's
Hammer Curl - 12's

Lying Tricep Extension - 10's
Overhead Tricep Press - 15#

Even going light I felt the burn in my shoulder blade. I dont' understand why this is happening. I foam rolled after my workout and stretched really good.

Teddygirl - My prayers are with your niece and you and your family!

I started with Combat 45 Kata, 317 cal.. I then did X Train Burn sets chest and triceps, followed by 100 rep challenge biceps, 34 min, 187 calories. I finished with yoga 28 min. . Total time was 1 hr 45 min amd 564 calories. I woke up at 3:30 with a headache so instead of some extra cardio that I was going to do I did Yoga Relax express #1.

Debbie, I think that you should definitely seek out a doctor that knows what he is doing. You have been dealing with this for way too long.

Today I did a much needed Yoga Relax by Cathe. Had a nice, relaxing workout and I really needed it because I am sore from yesterday's workout. Fuzz helped me today with my yoga. Weaving in and out of my legs, rubbing his face on my calves and then plopping down in front of me to play with him purring the whole time. :cloud9: These guys make my workouts so fun!

Luckily my shoulder blade isn't bad today, I used my massage pillow last night to loosen up the muscles, that must have helped. Sometimes that thing makes it worse. I contacted my doctor via My Chart to ask her what she thinks I should do and if she has a Sports Doctor recommendation for me. I'll check to see if she responded yet.

Today is my mom's Neuro Opthamologist appointment. I'm working half day and then taking her.

Diane Sue - I agree. 2 years is a long time and it should definitely have healed by now.

Hope you all have a great day and workouts!

This morning I did Les Mills Combat Shock Plyo Hiit #2, 29 min, 239 cal.. I then did X train legs standing, ball, and chair premix, 38 min, 205 cal.. I followed this with Combat Core Attack 18 min, 80 cal. Total time was 85 min, calories burned 524.

Roselyn, I changed up the schedule a little because I noticed that I had put Triceps in twice. So here is the edited one:
My schedule this week is
Mon Combat 60 Live, X train burn sets biceps, core #1 and tricep 100 rep challenge.

Debbie, I hope than you can get it figured out. The pets can be so much fun :D

After a 3 hour appointment and dealing with total yahoo's yesterday, we were told by the Neuro Eye Guy that he wasn't completely sure my mom's eye issues were happening because of the tumor. I'm not so sure I agree with him. He ordered an orbital MRI which she will have done next week with her brain scan. I guess then we will know what is going on.

My poor mom, I feel so bad for her. She keeps her spirits high but I know how worried she is. :(

Thanks for keeping her in your prayers!
