Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for week of 12/3

I did Les Mills Pump Revolution 58 min, 352 calories. I increased the lower body weights and the biceps but kept the things that bother my neck lighter. I then did Chalean Extreme Intervals 41 min, 283 calories. I was a little worried about my choice since it is more upper body intensive, light weights and endurance. Even swinging the stability ball around and overhead has upper in it. I had been planning this and went ahead and did it but kept shoulder work at 5#. Total time was 99 min and calories burned was 635.

Teddy, do you have a crate for your puppy? It makes it much easier to housebreak and train. I remember a couple of those puppy messes in the crate, which is rare unless the puppy has a tummy upset. I housebroke 2 at once when we got Mudd. I took the crate out and hosed it out and bleached it.

This mornings workout was Insanity Max Interval Sports Drills, 55 min, 476 calories, max hr 167. I used my rebounder for jumps and sprints that did not require space to cut down on some of the impact. I then did Les Mills Pump Hardcore abs, 15 min, 80 calories, and finished off with Les Mills Flow 20 min, 70 calories. Total time was 90 min and calories burned 606. Heading out to do some shopping in a bit.

Ok my fitness friends, what advice can I give my friend who has a lot of weight to lose, she was asking me about eating and exercising, I did tell her keeping her body fueled through the day with good, clean foods will help her metabolism. She wants to start slow and try to lose about 10 pounds and see how she does. What exercise advice can i give her? To jump start a weight loss should she be doing all cardio, any ideas would be helpful
