Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for week of 10/21

No workout today. I'm a bit ticked about this, I got up to workout at my usual time and I was dizzy I almost fell down 3 times. My head is all congested again and I was very disoriented. I don't get it. What could I possibly allergic to right now? I'm so frustrated. Thursday I won't be able to workout because I have to be at work early so that leaves me with a 3 day workout week again. Very frustration. I took a decongestant and I feel better. I was fine yesterday so I have no clue where this came from. :mad:
 
This morning I did X train Hardstrikes warm up and conditioning drills, 22 min, 130 calories. I then did Amy Bento Ross Drop Set Strength Workout Mix #2 chest, biceps, triceps, and core, 53 min., 282 calories. Total time was 75 minutes and calories burned 412.

Roselyn, how did the HR monitor workout you this morning?

Debbie, it is sometimes difficult working around schedules and illness. I hope that you get to feeling better.
 
I am feeling a bit better today, at least I'm not dizzy. I've been taking decongenstants again and that seems to be helping.

Today I did Cardio Coach #3 and had a fairly decent workout. Didn't push myself too hard but still had a good workout.

Yesterday I did Flex Train, today was Kickboxing.

Diane Sue, the HR monitor worked fine, just getting used to it. I will use this one and see about upgrading down the road.
 
Workout today was Amy's Dropset Strength w/up2 times then back and shoulders, 29 min, 150 calories. I followed with Flex Train Back, 7 min., 33 calories. I then checked out Great Glutes doing the warm up and the disc segment, 14 min, 74 calories, I finished off with Shiva's More Daily E Evolution Heart Flow. Total time was 71 min, and calories burned 312.

Roselyn, I am so used to my HR monitor that when I am out town and workout without it I keep finding myself looking at my wrist:)
 
Today I did a mix between Muscle Max Legs Only Premix and then I added in some Butts & Guts because MM was only like 23 minutes. Had a good workout. I love Firewalkers, that's why I did some of B&G. That one gets me every time.

Do any of you have trouble storing your elastic bands? I bought some from Cathe a few months back - maybe even almost a year now - and they have holes in them from sitting in my closet. How does that happen? Is there a certain way you should store them? Anyone know? It was like they were sticking together and when I pulled them apart the holes were there. I'm sort of irritated about it because they have hardly been used. It almost looks like mice ate away at them but I have no mice in my workout closet that I know of. Weird.
 
Today was lean legs and abs for me.

Debbie, i just have mine in a gym bag and they have stood up, sometimes I hang them on my treadmill handle too, for the long bands, but my firewalker I keep in my bag. Wander if weather/humidity affects them??
 
Workout is finished. I started with X train all out low impact hiit warm up, floor, and gliding disc cardio, 24 min, 154 calories. I then did Pedal Power songs 1-5, then the last two songs that were cooldown and deep stretch, 32 min, 212 calories. I wanted weighted abs so did Ab Circuits Med ball abs an Rapid Fire Results abs with med ball and weights with str.. 22 min, 109 calories. Total time was 82 min and calories burned 480.

Debbie, I used to store mine in a gallon plastic bag and dump baby powder in it. I have not done that with Cathe's but I do have them hanging. I put up a rack with pegs to drape tubing and bands etc. on. That is odd though because I thought Cathe's were latex free and that is usually what deteriorates.
 
I did X10 Fat Burning Circuit with modifications, 29 min, 205 calories. I then did Great Glutes Chair bonus calves only and previewed the rest, 4 min., 14 calories. I then did Amy's All Pump Xtreme 3 day split back, biceps, and triceps, 208 calories, and finished with Amy's Rumble stretch with weights, 15 m, 48 calorie. Total time was 94 minutes, and calories burned 475
 
Roselyn, what I can do of the new Cathe's I am liking. I am hoping it won't be too long before I can put my all into them. I only did a small amount of the step. For some reason most step combined with the turns etc. aggravate the knee. I love step.
 
Today I did Amy's All Pump Extreme 3 day split chest, and shoulders which does include the core. I forgot that it did that. This was 47 minutes and calories burned 235. I then did Cathe's Lean Legs an abs only, 11 min. 44 calories. I finished with Rock Out Knockout Heavy bag and stretch. 17 min, 108 calories. I like the stretch on this one because she pays attention to the wrists as well. Total time was 86 minutes and calories burned 390.
Yesterday I tripped over a loose brick on our patio pulling on the garden hose and landed on my rear and hit the same knee I am having problems with. Fortunately it seems to just be a little bruised and it is in a different spot than the back of the knee where the problem is.
 
This morning I mixed up the warm up and stretch a bit. I did Z cut power Yoga Warm up and followed with Cathe's great glutes warm up, then did he's Pedal Power all of the workout but song 8 and 10. I am increasing this a bit each time to see how I do. This was 49 minutes. I then did Z Cut Power Yoga Crescent series and cool down folllowed by Cathe's Great Glutes stretch. Total time spent was 80 minuend calories burned 589.

Roselyn, I wish I could do the new step workouts. I tried the 2nd one but there was just too many pivots for me and my knee was not happy with it. Hopefully one day soon. How did you like it? They look fun to me.
