Linda - You'll need to get hooks. You are getting up in weights with the SLDL's and you can't hold onto a bar that heavy with your fingers alone. Same with rows. I got mine from Dick's but I'm looking for a better kind because I just don't like them much. Nice going with your first superset! Woohoo!!! You are killing this rotation!

I'm moving my workout room to a bigger bedroom we have. Right now it's filled with all my daughter's stuff and hopefully she will be moving it all soon. Once they do, my stuff is going into her room and my dh will have his "control center" which will be my old weight room. LOL! I can't wait!!!

Just did Bootcamp. Amazing how I can keep up after not exercising for atleast 3 months lol! I a spent tho!!! Gotta go eat. Gonna scramble some eggs and then probly have some salad with either chicken or tuna.

Debbie - Lucky you on the new workout room! I wish I could get mine in order! Just takes money we don't have right now! Also, I have those same hooks from Dick's, not happy with them either, that's why I need a new solution. I dislike them enough not to use them until I am desperate which is usually by the third set!

Teddygirl - I'm sorry, she's my step daughter, not my daughter. I have a step son as well. They are 22 and 21 years old.

Linda - There is a better type of grip gloves on the market, I just don't know the names of them. They are made with velcro as the hooks instead of those stupid metal hooks. When I find them, I'll let you know.

Hey everyone. I have not checked in in ages and ages. But I figure what the heck? I read you every day! My inspiration crew.

Today was 40 minute on the bike at 95 - 100 RPMs and Eion Finn Power Yoga for Happiness 55 minute session. I worked legs yesterday and upper body Monday - both with the trainer at work (a freebie from my job). He continues to work me heavy and hard, and I just love it. Debbie I show him your workouts all the time and say - try this! He is also doing quasi P90X workouts with me. Ouch, ouch, ouch in a good way. Tomorrow I have tennis lesson at night - my new hobby, so a.m. likely an easy yoga or light cardio thing.

My eating however has been crap. Hubby is away on business til tonight, and I get into the chocolate at night. Problem is I really have not gained weight. I tend to stay the same, but get mushy. So please everyone kick my butt on this! My six pack looks like a pack of marshmallows! Today so far so good.

Just finished my BICEP/BACK workout:

BACK
Chin Ups
BW - 11x's (bummed I did not get to 15 like I had before)
10# - 4/3 (yes, these were much harder)

Overhand BB Rows:
70# 4 sets/8

T Bar Rows:

85# 4 sets/8
(These were easier for me and I enjoyed it. Checked the Arnold book to see I was doing them right and I was)

BICEPS
BB Curls
80# 6/5/5 (could not do last set)

Concentration Curls: (instead of Incline Curls which bothers my neck)
45# db's 6/6/5/4 (felt dizzy even though I had my protein shake prior..working with 45's always zaps me)

Preacher Curls:
(was gonna do cheat curls, but my arms were toast)

Started with 75# (no cigar)
Onto 60# (no cigar)
45??? (no cigar)
25# bb..too light
Stuck with 35# bb 3/8 (my arms were just totally toastified and I was sad I had to drop down so low)

Gotta go to Food Lion and get a few rotissiere chickens and eggs and then will go on elliptical. I am kinda thinking after I feel now, I might actually need two rest days in a week, but I am worried about my weight climbing so I am gonna try to hang with one rest day still until my weight adjust to where I want it (CONTROL FREAK, I know) lol.

MY EATS:

Meal 1: Kelloggs Protein Plus cereal, yogurt with soynuts
Meal 2: Icky tuna fish (straight from can)
Meal 3: Chicken breast, muscle milk, broccoli
Meal 4: Protein Shake
Meal 5: Tuna Fish
Meal 6: Chicken

(My meals are alittle screwed up today cuz I ran out of eggs and haven't had time to get any til now)
 
Charlotte, I like to take the can of tuna and sprinkle a few drops of liquid smoke or the smoke flavored mustard in it for some additional flavor. You always rock on those biceps. I can do 60 once in awhile but that is my top and I rally am struggling. Most of the time I stay 45-50.

Wow, everyone here is doing some kick a$$ w/o's today! That is so great to see. LOVE IT!

I'm going to walk tonight at the park with hubby! That will be my cardio. I ate some "Chicken in a can" and then tonight I'll eat lite.

Debbie - Man, you are killing this w/o! You go girl, I'm looking forward to starting it soon. I'm gonna finish this one first though! Oh, and my arms are fried from last nights rotation. Legs are feeling it too!

Linda - Way to go on those pull ups! I'm gonna try those everytime time now since I surprised myself last week by doing 5 unassisted!

Diane Sue - Thanks for the encouragement, I know everyone is different, but last night I had to listen to my body, and I've read your post your lifting is up there too! You look great by the way, in no way do you look old enough to be a grandmother!

Ally - I think the Zottman's are a new fav excersise for me now, and the BSS hurt so good!!!

Charlotte - Great workout, so you liking this rotation? I really wish I had a place to ride a bike I think that would give me an added change to look forward too.

Megadoo - Hi nice workout you did. Yeah, it's pretty amazing how the body can adapt so quickly.

Diane Sue you have a far stronger constitution than me on the food front. But I will try! Must say, I am doing pretty well.

BTW these bicep curl weights are blowing me away!

Char: I had to go back and look at your workout yesterday, DAM….DAM…that’s all I could say; you are a power house a walking mean machine.

I’m a wimp the most I lift for traditional bicep work is 2/20 lb dumbbells. Funny tho, when I use my barbell I tend to lift heavier when doing biceps. I just got up to 50’s and only did 2 reps. I need to step my game up, YEAH I do!

You Debbie and Shewolf are off the chain my mouth drop when I see the weight you guys use. Excellent work!
