I finally made it here. Busy day. This morning was three straight sets of 8 with a 1:30 rest.

8/8/8 (4/4/4 were unassisted, I am so psyched about this, this is the most I have ever done on my own, the rest I finished assisted)

8/8/8 - 90 **these were very hard**

Static Lunge
8/8/8 - 85# **these were fun for a change***

Biceps
Hammer Curls

6 - 27's **I have no idea what happened here, I've done 27's before but this morning failed at 28's, then couldn't even do 27's***

Hamstrings
SLDL's
8/8/8 - 100#

Then did the hanging ab work again.

Lora - My heartrate monitor does not give me a calorie burn, the number I get is from the treadmill itself and I think it is way off, but it sure is fun pretending that just maybe it real!:p


DianeSue - I sure hope you feel better soon!


Sandy - Don't be ashamed you are doing great! It wasn't long ago that I was doing those weights.

Char - I am so with you, I can not get the scale to budge ;(. I would love to have your 120#. Actually I can't get that low, but right now I am higher than I've been in a long time. At least my clothes still fit.

Thanks for all of the understanding and advice about the job stuff.

Diane Sue - I've been having LOTS of headaches, both migraine and stress/tension, neck/facet joint/trapezius related. My heart goes out to you. It's frustrating and depressing. Yes, I like hitting our heavy bab in the basement.....but I need gloves, cuz it hurts my hands. When I did that M&F Hers rotation, I kicked and punched the bag. Feels good!

Toasty - 80" of cardio!! I'm impressed! You go girl. Thanks for burning the AC/DC. I appreciate it.

Lisa - I do get minimum wage at my job....but not much more than that. It's a lot harder than a minimum wage job too!! Are you saying to only do 1 functional fitness workout in a week and the rest cardio? I'm a little scared to do that, but you're the professional....so I will listen to you.......although I can't say for sure it will be next week, since I need to get some of this ongoing stress/frustration out thru my workouts now. (by the way - Kettlebell workouts are FF, right?)

Ally - I guess I live in a really depressed area (i live in Youngstown, Ohio)...however, I can't move...as my husband is the "breadwinner" so to speak and his job is here. I've worked for hospitals most of my life and they pay a lot better than smaller doctor's offices....but they are downsizing and I lost a lot of jobs due to that. What do you do for a living? Yes, work is a necessary evil...isn't it? Stressful and frustrating!
 
Hello All,

I did a 2.5 mile walk tonight at the park. A very brisk 30/40 minute walk. Felt so good to get outside. Didn't walk at work today though. A

I agree with you Debbie about the cardio. I think I could get by with at least 3 days of cardio or less while I'm lifting heavy and especially if I ate clean!!!

Charlotte you'll get those couple of lbs off, you can do it! I think you look great where you're at also! I'll never see 120 again, but I would like to see 140 with very nice muscle definition at 46 yrs old!!!

Linda great w/o you did. Wow I can only imagine lifting as heavy as you and Debbie...one day, it's gonna take time to get where I want to be. It really does feel good doing this rotation. I've not got bored with it not even once! Just love it!
