I just got up. I have to start getting up early tomorrow. I'm not going to be able to sleep if I keep this up.

Off to do some weights and maybe some yoga. I'll be back.
 
I ended up doing MM warm up followed by Body Max Upper Body x 2. I then did Muscle Max Lower Body Premix and Core/Stretch segments. I wanted to add firewalkers to the end, but I forgot until it was too late. Total weight workout was 1 hour and 25 minutes and I burned 425 calories. That was a good upper body and leg workout.....so I should feel it tomorrow. It felt challenging today. I'm not really sure I'm feeling well. I still have this sinus thing going on and need to call the doctor later to see if he wants to give me another course of antibiotics.

I also did the 30 minute yoga segment on Yoga on Demand and it was a lovely Hatha yoga practice with a good balance of poses.

Have great workouts ladies. I've got to try to get a hold of the hospital to schedule a typing test for that job I applied for. It requires that you type 45 WPM......and I know I can type at least 65 when I'm real nervous. My normal typing speed is about 77 WPM...so it shouldn't be a problem. I also have to go to the dentist later and try to get my cat in the vet for a cortisone shot. She chews her belly ...allergies or something.

Toasty - did you see the posting by Beth on BPAL Madness about the Dark Delacies event and oil that's gonna be available on their website soon? It sounds really good, right up our alley. I'll have to go find the notes and post them for you.

The ankle is better. Much less swelling, I can move it around, and it doesn't hurt as much. I still have it wrapped and will do the ice again to be sure. Of course still no jumping around on it, although I want to! LOL! I have SERIOUS DOMS from yesterday !! YIPPEEE!! Usually my DOMS don't hit till later in the day, but I woke up with these. Every UB muscle. Even a little in the abs. I am pretty darn proud getting that good of a WO with one good leg! hehe.

So today, I might try to do LB floor work. I have to play around and see what I have. Nothing with pressure on the ankle of course, which means no hamstring presses. I will also do the rest of the MTV Pilates too. Might not be till tonight though as I have my niece today. Canceling my walk today too, which sucks since tomorrow and Fri are supposed to be wicked cold again.

Lora- hope your kitty will be alright. My cousins cat did that too. Good luck on your typing test!

Meg - I forget....where do you live? It hasn't been wicked cold there all weekend and all week? It's been really cold and snowy here. I can't even stomach watching the weather and can't warm up unless I have 2 blankets wrapped around me....with my heat on 72!!!

I did read the livejournal last night in regards to the del's, but I thought that was just for sale at some place in California for the time being. Didn't hear that she was going to put some up on bpal. That should be neat. Right now, I have been ordering the tals. You don't know what you are missing if you haven't tried Cleo May. I never smelled anything as sexy as that and I am gonna order another one at a later time and get some more Queen of the Nile too. I love the way they make me feel, when the time is right;-)

Glad you are feeling better. I am glad you hurt from the DOMS, Rogue. Burn it girl!!! Makes you feel good when you feel it next day, huh?
 
Morning Maniacs! Today is interval cardio and Can't remember, but some upperbody work with plyo after each set. My dog needs to get out too. It's so cold I haven't had her out for months. She's getting restless. If I'm real ambitious, I'll take her to the rodeo grounds and let her run while I do a CC workout. Depends on how cold it is later. It's 3 degrees right now! Doesn't sound good does it? lol.

Lora-That's great you and DH found the owners to Dukie! What a lucky dog to land at your doorstep. I bet you feel good about that. Maybe you should get a dog. If you got a little one or a puppy maybe the cats wouldn't be threatened.

Meg-Glad to hear your ankle is getting better. Sounds like you just had a small sprain. Thank goodness! That's great as a cripple, you can still get DOMS. You worked it!

Char- What workouts did you use for this rotation I'm on (day 3), when it calls for Chest, shoulder, tris (or whatever)? Did you just do it on your own or did you use a DVD? Have fun shopping! I've finally stopped my ebay shoppin... for the time being. Ran outta moola.:( You are making me want some oils, you know.;)

Gotta get my tea and then color my hair. I'm off today.

Meg - Maybe you'd think that a high of 30 isn't cold then!!! I think it's too freakin' cold. Heck, 50's cold enough for moi!

Toasty - that oil is going to be available at the Dark Delacies site, not BPAL, but I'm sure Beth will notify us when it is.

Err.........just got back from the hospital. They couldn't get the computer to work, so I have to go back for my test when they can get it to work!!

Meg I'm glad your ankle feels better! For lower body today maybe you could try Kick Max leg drills and L&G ankle weight work with out the weight, just a thought

I'm doing S&H legs and gym style floor work and abs.

Hey all you quiet busy Maniacs!

Finished up my workout. I did CC#6 with Candace on the St. Bike. Burned 287 cal. and was in my Zone for 35 min. MHR was only 165.:(
Then I did double Chest and Back off of BM2 adding in Pullups and Chipups. I'm half the strength I was since doing P90X.:(
Then I finished up with a Karen Voight yoga stretch. Got bored 15 min. into that and stopped, lol. Total workout time was 1hr. 33 min.

BM2-Back and Chest-2 sets each

Double Arm Row on SB-20#
Pullover on SB-20#
Seated Flys on SB-8#
Chins-8/6
WG pullups-4/4
Push up on SB-All
Wide push ups-All-8 on knees
Chest Flys-20#

Geez - it is abnormally quiet here today. No sign of Diane Sue for a long time.....guess she's busy packing!!

I'll probably do some yoga again later......either Kundalini or other. I want to try my Bryan Kest audio's cuz they look really good but they're 90 minutes!!
 
Hi Ladies!

Hope you're all well. Nutso at work! Working on a big project. Phones finally quieter. Got new phones today. Love 'em. Didn't have time to workout this morning. Amber was sick. It's her own fault. She eats poop. YUK! But you can't get angry at her b/c she doesn't know that made her sick. I'm going to try that stuff from the vet. I hear it doesn't always work. I did feel bad for her. But worse for me - it stunk! Aren't you glad I pooped in, I mean popped in to say hi. :p

Gotta do Kenpo tonight.

Suz- Every dog that I have adopted ate it's poop! I think that was the main reason they were up for adoption (and why I'm afraid to adopt again). It's sick and I tried everything under the sun to stop them, but nothing worked. Me following them all day with a shovel was the closest I got. Nice we can talk poop here, isn't it. LOL!

Suz- didn't try the stuff from the vet, didn't know they had any. I tried Deter and someother over the counter brands. If she is eating your other dogs 'poop' then you have to give it to that dog too, as the whole purpose is to make all the 'poop' taste bad. My vet told me there wasn't anything I could do and to try the over the counter stuff. Maybe they have new medication now. Hopefully it will work for you. The dog I have now is worth her weight in gold, because to doesn't do it. Good luck! It's a hard habit to watch.

So now we are talking about poop here? I thought we still had a few days to go for "butt" discussions. Oh, well. Moving right along AGAIN...

So got back shopping. Didn't find much..another pair of yoga pants (camo), bra's (FOH), Halloween Snoopy shirt and big loopy earrings. I swear I still hate the dressing room mirrors. Was not kind to me today...fluid retention? Anyhow, it was nice to get out of the house.

Yeah, you got the idea. Just go solo on the chest/back/tri's or use the slow and heavy series of those body parts, etc. That was how I did it. Glad you had fun with it today. I am thinking I am gonna be behind too in weights when I go back to Cathe...not on biceps though, but I know I have gone back down in weights for tri's, at least. I really miss that rotation. It causes you to have a messy room when working out because you are not suppose to stop and you keep moving from one thing to the other...very busy..very messy. lol. I remember tripping over the weights, etc. lol.

About the oils....if you wear any of the lust tal's, you will want your man nearby. Just a warning. These are the real deal.
