Meg - from my experience on my machines in the basement .....if it says I burned 544, my HR monitor would probably say I burned about 344-390. I think higher calorie burns come mostly with longer workouts or workouts where I get my HR pretty eleveated and keep it there for an extended period. I don't burn that much with, say, a 40 minute Cardio Coach workout. I think a lot of caloric burn comes in the "afterburn" with interval training. The only reason my burns have been so high lately....is cuz I leave my HR monitor running thru weights and then cardio, etc....so I'm getting afterburn, and new burn. Can't wait for you to get your new yoga........which reminds me....I've got 3 of these tapes ready to go. I have to try to find out how much it's gonna cost to mail. I'll have to PM you.
