Morning Maniacs-

I'm off to do Barry's Arms & Abs and the cardio portion. Probably some Kundalini yoga also. I tried to get up a bit earlier today but, only suceeded to get up 20 minutes earlier. Saturday I have to be up at 2:00 am as we are leaving pretty early for Cleveland.

Diane Sue - What section of the store do you find that Kashi Whole Grain Pilaf in? Do you have to go to the organic part of the store? or by the regular rice, etc? Thanks for your opinion. It sounds better than the no taste Quiona! I think I'll try the pilaf stuff if I can find it. Our city is only a small city....so it's a bit harder to find some things. Also - which McDonald's salads do you like the best? I think I'm going to try one from their tomorrow instead of Arby's. Is it the Asian one? thanks.

I'll be back in a bit.

Hi all you crazy Maniacs!

Had an excellent workout this morning, had tons of energy. Tooth pain is totally gone now. Wonder what that was all about? Anyways, I worked shoulders, traps, abs and did cardio. This is what I did:

Shoulders - 1 minute rest
Arnold Press: 22's - 12/8/8 reps
Wide Grip Upright Row: 50# - 12/9/9
Lateral Raise: 15's - 3 sets/12 reps
Bent Over Lateral Raise: 15'2 3 sets/12 reps

Traps:
Dumbbell Shrugs: 40's - 3 sets/12 reps

Abs:
Pure Strength Legs ab work

Cardio:
Cardio Coach #3 **This is my favorite 1/2 hour CC. Lots of sprinting in this one. I wore my HRM for cardio only. CC #3 was 36 minutes, was in my zone for 27 minutes and burned 201 calories.

Hope you all have great workouts!

I ended up doing Barry's Arms & Abs with non-TM cardio (part on Rebounder) and then I did some Gliding. Listened to my own music ....Californication (forgot how much I love that CD). Workout was 1 hour and 20 minutes and I burned 450. I also did Ravi & Ana's Yoga Bliss Hips 60".

I'm happy, as I noticed my legs are continuing to look better. Thinner above the kneecap and looking more defined. I wish I'd have measured sooner. I also noticed my abs looking a bit better today. Maybe I was just having a "good mirror" day!! LOL.

Have great workouts everyone.

Good Morning, today I will be doing a step workout and abs. Then clean house as this is the day I usually do not have to go out.

Lora, I usually can find the Kashi Pilaf in the cereal area. Most of the stores group it with the hot cereals or one I go to puts it in an area of health foods. Target has it here on their cereal aisle as well. I usually get the Aisian salad and ask for grilled chicken on it. But I know you won't get the chicken. Also the asian dressing is spicy. I really like it. The endame will be a good source of protein for you. Otherwise I get the ceasar salad and the lowfat vinegrette.

Debbie, good workout. Good to hear your tooth quit hurting.

Diane Sue - thanks......so is it really a hot cereal? I'm confused. It sounds really good though. Can you make it in a microwave??

Lora, I do not really think it is a cereal. The recipes on the box have onions and stuff in them if you were to decide to try something different with it. It is more like eating brown rice or barley. It has the chewy texture. I love it myself. It has pouches inside the box that make several servings. I make it and put it in individual bowls and freeze or refrigerate what I am not eating right away. Then I just pop it in the microwave when I want it.

Morning maniacs. Running a day behind . Was really buisy yesterday.
Went to the gym. Took a pilates class. Ok. I give up... Boring... 12 reps of each exercise. inhale up exhale down. I have it in my head. Was way too easy. Got some ab work anyways. I did legs. I was doing squats and wondered why it was so heavy. I had 90# on instead of 70...I grabbed the 35 # plates. LOL... Dummy me..
I did machines and lunges and squats on the smith machine......
70 and 90#.. I may feel it later/\..
Gotta work . Talk later

Good Morning Ladies
Low max 1st 4 intervals, L&G all ankle weight work plus calf raises. B&G floor work premix.
I hope everyone has a great day

Just a quick one popping in here:

Lora, I'm so glad you're finding something that works for your legs. I know how hard you have tried. Really pleased to hear it. Question for you, recently I was given a Fresh Scents sachet packet, the scent is "Passion Flower". I love, love, love it. Have you run across any kind of oil or lotion or such that has this smell? Any recommendations?

Thanks so much and way to go on your results! Am waiting for my "Squeeze" still, looking forward to using that one.

Got to go to work (prison) now so will check for your response when I get home from work.

Morning Maniacs! Yesterday evening I went on a Mt. Bike ride. Went on a hellacious hill ride again. Ride was 1 hr. 45 min. burned 698 calories. The hills on this ride are long and tough. I'm getting better on some. DH was kickin' my a$$...that B*ast*rd! LOL!
This morning I took Carma on a 5 mile walk. HRM says I burned 268 cals and Pedometer says I burned 305. Walk was 1 hr. I'm feeling alittle DOMS in Chest and Bis from yesterdays PP upperbody workout.:)

Gotta get to work...catch up later.

Diane Sue- I think I will love it from the way you described it. Hope I can find it. It sounds really good!

Netta - I just searched Black Phoenix's site. I know I've seen Passion Flower pop up in Limited Editions from time to time but this is all that currently comes up on the site with Passion Flower (the Snake Pits are under Carnivale Diabolique and they are some of my favorites...not exactly straight Passion Flower though - I strongly suggest you email the Lab via the contact link. I'm sure someone there could ask Beth or Brian what scent they recommend if you love PassionFlower. If you don't want to do that - please let me know. I know the previous place I used to buy oils, before her huge price hike, was DSHperfumes.com and she made a Passion Flower blend it was Perfume Poem blend....each one came with a Poem. I used to wear it...but her price is too high for me now...although it may not be for you):

Faiza's Companions: The Snake Pit Cottonmouth Snake Oil with linden blossom, calla lily, passion flower, and narcissus.

The Muses Melpomene Melpomene is Tragedy, and the sound of Her voice is filled with beauty, power and strength. She is crowned in cypress branches, holds the mask of tragedy, wears the cothurnus and wields a knife or club. Her scent is rife with pathos, and inspires us with the ability to express our grief, loss, and the pain in our souls in a cathartic, creative fashion: dark cypress with mint, geranium, Bulgar lavender, orange blossom and passion flower.

Dallys - great workout.

Deb - also - great workout. Glad you're tooth is better. Who knows what you did to it. Hope it doesn't start back up again.

I just finished IMax3 and added on SJP step. I am getting ready to do Pyramid abs. I thought I would go ahead and post as I had to stop because the mail came and I got my Aromaleigh order. They had new lip liner pencils so I had to have some:)

Lora, I hope you find the Kashi Pilaf. I was thinking of another couple of total body and cardio workouts. Step Blast and Step Jump & Pump step and weights circuits #1 is 81 minutes and #2 is 68 minutes(I think I clocked it at 66 min) I like these because you get the weight work and Step portions of Step Blast.

Hey Maniacs!!!

Here, but really busy. I did 100 walking lunges yesterday with 20's. Trying not to do too much cuz we hauled in the rest of furniture today so arms got a good workout. Got border up in both bathrooms. Have a third bathroom to still put some up. Got to clean the basement floors tomorrow, and maybe start some tonight..very dusty/dirty from sediment, etc.

Be back in full swing before too long.

Charlotte~~

Hey maniacs!

Been really busy and haven't been able to post.

It's all good though. Have been doing quite a bit of running lately. So far, I've run Mon-Wed this week. I'll probably do some kickboxing tomorrow...if I wake up in time.

Looks like everybody is kicking butt!!

Hey, before I forget...my new email address is [email protected] (I crossed the line and became a maniac) so ya'll hit me up sometime. I hope my next week things will start to become more normal and routine, but for now I am having tons of fun even still.

Charlotte~~

Today ended up being one of those unexpected days. Not really bad though. I still never finished cleaning but did get to the grocery store. Lots of phone calls and had to pick up my grandaughters as my dd had to give a talk to med students. Anyway after the cardio I did Pyramid abs with added resistance( I usually use a 15# med ball for some of this instead of the stability ball) Then I did Amy's Bentos abs #2 wearing my shoe weights and adding extra resistance, I finished with Yoga Shatki core and ineversions.

Charlotte, it sounds like you will have everything done soon. I bet you are enjoying your new home. I doubt after all of the moving you need a lot of exercise. Moving is a full time event.
