Morning Maniacs -

This morning I did Shape Bikini Body - Transforming Workout - Sculpt & Potpourri segments. The sculpting segment had a functional fitness feel to it and used compound movements, therefore, kept the HR elevated. The Potpourri segment was 10 min kickbox, 10 min sculpt, 10 minutes of athletic/core drills. This was actually a pretty good workout and even felt a bit hard for me. I'm still getting over this stomach flu and have bad stomach pains. Workout was 1 hour and 12 minutes and I burned 390 calories. I also did Flexible and Strong segment (10") from Ravi & Ana's Yoga Quick Fixes.

I've got my appt with the foot doctor later this morning and I hope I get good news.

Only did ab ripper yesterday. I had my head up my arse, what can I say? Today I am doing whatever Debbie is doing, and following along with her mighty rotations.

I just ordered some GC perfumes yesterday, as a matter of fact. lol. A few I have been wanting to try. Thank God I am working now so I can buy some more. I think the boss wants to make me a crew leader, but even though the money is good, I am not sure I want to stay until midnight calculating money, etc. and ordering people around and then kissy kissy all day. lmao!

Good Morning, I woke up this morning at 3 am with a migraine. Took aspirin, went back to bed. Got up and took Imitrex and back to bed. Then I got up a little bit before 5 am and did Cardio Fusion Mix and Match Premix. Hoping for some endorphins or something to kick in. I have to take my granddaughters to school in a few minutes and will come back and do abs and yoga/stretch. Maybe I will sit in the hot tub. Need to clean house. BBL

Lora, I hope you have good news from the foot doctor. I ordered at Tracey's this morning. I tried last night as they had it up but it put shippiing on it so I guess they were sticking with the 22-24th free shipping.

DH got up on his own this a.m. Is he reading my journal?

Today was Biceps, Forearms, Wrists & Abs. I had an EXCELLENT workout and I'm so glad I did biceps on their own. This routine was fun.

Biceps
EZ Preacher Curls:
45# - 12 reps
55# - 9 reps
60# - 6/5 reps
55# - 8 reps
45# - 12 reps
***Was fried after this but I felt really strong doing these sets.

Alternate Incline Dumbbell Curls:
15's - 15 reps
20's - 12 reps
25's - 8/8 reps !!!
20's - 10 reps
***I cannot believe I did this exercise with 25# DB's. I was surprised at how easy it was!


Forearms

Pinwheels:
20's - 8 reps
22's - 6 reps
20's - 7 reps
***Forearms were rock hard when I got done with these.

Wrists
Rollups:
5# - 10 times
***These burn like a mother!

Abs
Cardio & Weights ab work
***My core is getting very strong. I usually have a really hard time with the part where you have your legs up in the air and then go down to a 45 degree angle and hold it there. These were easy this morning. The walking soldier planks were easy as well.

Jammed to Papa Roach. Excellent group. I really love their music!

***How do you change colors in here? I can't figure it out.

Deb - Do you have the song Alive downloaded by Papa Roach? I love that song.....lyrics are cool and it rocks. Alive and Out-a-control!! I'm vulnerable...............

Toasty - Crew Leader!! Go Girl!! Now I just need to get a job. I have to start wearing my GC blends more often. I wore Bordello the other day and remembered how much I LOVE it. It's one of my top GC blends! Even my Mom who hates my smellies - said I smelled good.

I'll be leaving for my x-ray in a little bit.............fingers crossed.

Did you ladies see Skwigg's blog I posted the link to last night? She did Cosgrove's Afterburn and has before and after pic's. I was impressed. I'm getting psyched to start Afterburn sometime in the near future. I think Spinning has been helping my legs.....as I noticed my jeans are slightly baggier than usual and today the scale was actually down 2 pounds.......but it usually flucuates.
 
Good morning. I was so busy yesterday that I dind't WO, but eating was good. I had some kicka$$ steak for dinner too.

Lora- I am really interested in that Afterburn. When do you start? It seemss maybe similar to P90x, but about half the price!! You have to let me know how it is, cuz I am really interested. I could afford that before I could the x. Good luck at the doc.

DS- that is one EARLY WO. Hope the headache stays away for you.

Deb- So what are pinwheels? I don't necessarily work forearms separately, but I do notice that I have muscle there, especially when I carry something, and I LOVE that!

Char- well congrats on poss promotion! That is awesome, but of course more resposibility. But hey, just think of how many more oils you can buy with extra money!!

I am back from dropping off my granddaughters. I am sorry I did the tripe post. I don't know how I did that, guess I was in a hurry:)
Now I am off to do abs. I think I will do Tracey's Core conditioning.

Dallys and Suz, thanks for the compliment on my puppies. They are not perfect puppies yet:) When I think they are doing really well they are just like children and make me look like a bad puppy parent LOL Mudd will be 1 year old Friday. Can't believe we have had them that long. She was not quite 6 weeks when we bought her home.

Debbie- Great workout AGAIN! For color you do the same square bracets enclosing [font color=red]font color=red[/font] then do the brackets at the end enclosing [font color=green]/font[/font] If you want to add size add a size=+1 inside the same brackets (the size I did up top)or whatever size you want.

Meg-Hope you get someone to watch the kids. I prefer to be outside too!

Lora thanks for the post...that looks like an interesting program. Although I love cathe dearly, it would be nice to take a break and try something different.

Lora and Suz, you guys probably know this already but I was reading something this morning about if you eat an orange a day everyday, it helps greatly with your exercise induced asthma. Just wanted to let you guys know if you guys did not know already. I thought it was kind of interesting.

Lora - Yes, I have Alive. I really like that song. Reckless is my favorite so far, and then The Fire.

Meg - Pinwheels are hard to explain but I'll try. You hold a dumbbell in front of your thigh with the palm facing you. You bring the weight up across your body and the turn the wrist towards you. You have to do the motion slowly. It burns like a mofo. I do one arm at a time.

Dallys - Thanks about the font color. That is cool and I couldn't figure it out. I also can't figure out how you put those smilie faces in. I know how to do :) and :( but other then that, I'm lost.

Yesterday ended up doing stepblast in the morning and gymstyle legs at night. Today is high step challenge. Will do after i get off work.

I just did Jillian Michaels Maximize- FUll Frontal and Maximize- Back in Action. I was sweating like crazy. It is a circiut, and I like the weight moves, and the cardio parts are pretty explosive. It was fun.
Although I had to add more stretches since that segment was pretty weak.

Deb- i think I got it. Sounds like they do burn!

Hey Maniacs! Finished up GS Back/shoulders/biceps and did Core Max #3.

Debbie-If I click on a smilie at the side of the page when I'm posting, they always go to the end of my signature. So, I just look at what symbols were used and then just type it in. : P will get you a :p, : 9 will get you a :9, etc. (type them without a space between)
