Morning Ladies-

Wow this weekend really flew by, as usual. This morning my rotation called for Plyo X and I did it but modified most of the higher impact jumps on the rebounder. I double and triple timed some of the moves to make it more intense. I listened to my own music.

I don't even want to go to work today! My DH is off today and that makes it even harder.

Have great workouts and I'll try to check in from work.
 
Morning back, Lora -

No workout for me today; I usually take Tuesdays off anyway (if anything I do a power walk during my lunch hour). Was off on Friday and yesterday for a long Labor Day weekend, and I have the feeling my day will be filled with . . . well, labor.

Good Morning Maniacs!!

I ended up doing coremax 1 last night with the 10# plate on my back. More stress to shoulders then anything else. Held it together entire time, but tricky for hip dips with the plate wanting to slide off which challenged me further to keep it balanced on my back. I also did my workout 1 (posted yesterday), earlier in the day.

Today I want to ride my bike if it isn't raining. If it is raining then maybe KPC. I have a busy day today.

This morning I did another full body workout, this one was supersetting, did 2 sets/8 reps with 60 second rest. This is what I did:

SS #1
CG Chinups: 8/7 1/2 (And I do believe I have mislead you all. I found out yesterday that pullups and chins are totally different exercises. I feel like an ass. Pullups are WAY harder then chins, pullups are where you use an overhand grip to pull yourself up, chins are an underhand grip. So all this time I have been doing chins. I feel like such a wimp!!!)
Incline BB Chest Press - 90# - my best yet!!! (up from 85# last week)

SS #2:
Rear Dumbbell Raise - 15's each hand
Dumbbell Bicep Curls - 25's each hand

SS #3:
Plie Squats - 85#
Hamstring Curls - 50#

Then I did the treadmill for about 20 minutes on a higher incline. Tough workout, my HR was in the high 130's the whole time. Its amazing what the incline does.

For the entire workout I was in my zone for 30 minutes and burned 227 calories. 51 minute total workout.

Adri - Yesterdays calorie burn was with the entire IMAX 2 workout, I never burn high calories with HIIT workouts.

Maeghan - I wanted to get that Halloween thing as well but didn't order it. Now you are making me want it!!!

Deb- I can't wait to get that thing! I usually don't want to spend that much on one thing, but I fell in love with it, and it something that will last. ANyway, my rep told me about some ghost named George or something coming out next week. Can't wait to see it. I hate to see summer go, but I CAN'T wait to start fall decorating!
Great job on your weight increases! You are amazing. Don't feel bad about the chin-ups woman! I just sit here a laugh thinking about doing them- fat chance of that happening for a while!! LOL!!! You are awesome whatever way you place your hands!

Lora- sorry about having to go to work. I hope the day flies by. BTW, what time do you get out of work since you go in so early? Hope you are feeling better.

Charlotte- a 10# plate??? I did that coremax lastnight. I held the planks, but with weight?? Oh boy! You rock woman! I am askeered to see your biceps! 30#, in each hand?!?!!

Good Morning,
Today will be cardio, abs and stretching/yoga. I am sore from yesterdays workout. Funny I did Chest and Triceps and I feel my lats this morning. I have lots of errands to run today after the long weekend. No school today for the Grandchildren.

Charlotte, I am trying to picture how you put a weight plate on your back. I usually hold a weight on my chest or behind my head.

Lora, where did you hear about Tracy Staehle at? I would like to read some reviews from anyone that has done her workouts. I watched the abs clip though and didn't see anything but tons of crunches.

Very carefully. lol. I just kinda throw it on while almost in a total plank position. You should be sore from yesterdays workout, but then again maybe not, Maniac! lol

Lora,

You will have to email me your work addy again cuz I deleted all my emails. I have to take my hubby's new car down to the shop today for inspection. Oh what joy! I got to sit there and watch Maury Povich or something while they work on it. I can't them shows. Soooo depressing and degrading to see people air out their dirty laundry for all to see. Maybe I will just take a walk in the rain. Anything is better then sitting there watching that and staring across at all the donuts and garbagy potato chips that people buy there.

Are you using your mom's equipment when you workout now? I love to challenge myself to do something different. I am always striving for more and more. Sounds like you are too.

Well then I am a dumba$$ cuz I didn't know the difference between chinups and pullups. Thanks for clarifying. I have been doing them correctly then, that is pullups. Chinups work your biceps more according to my Arnold book. Works overall bicep muscle.

Today at the gym is all legs and abs, no cardio today. I'll psot what I did later when I do it.
I woke up early (7) but them fell back asleep. I guess I was so tired.

Crap! Nevermind on the walk. A customer just called and needs to bring her dog over in 15 min.(I have a grooming shop in my home, if you didn't already know :)) Oh well, That means I'll get done early for work today.

Diane Sue - Yes, I'm seeing results. Seeing some muscle gain and obviously strength gains. Also seeing my body fat diminish. :)

Charlotte - How many pullups can you do? Do you do them wide grip or close grip?
 
Dallys-LOL. Don't you hate last minute things like that? They can totally mess things up;-)

Debbie-Just wondering, do you do pull-ups too in your total body rotation, or just do them? I did them yesturday for back.

Well, I've only been working on chins, its taken me a long time to get to 8 straight reps. I will try working on pullups as well in the coming weeks. I'm curious to see if I can even do one!
 
Debbie- I know, the widegrip one is hardest, IMO. It really kicks in the lats. I mean I did 9 yesturday but was almost dying on the last rep}( The only reason I can really do them is because doing gymnastics for 4 years has made my get really strong.
Debbie, I bet you could do more than me by the way you work;-)

Videofitness is where i heard about her, but she's new and doubt anyone even has the workouts yet. I preordered and they should be here soonish.

ETA: She has a Forum where I was reading about the filming and I respected her honesty and they sounded difficult....so I was sold. I'll let you know when I get them. I do think the hour core work is overkill and I probably won't be able to do it all unless it's like P90X Core Syn. I can't view clips from my computer though.

Also, have you checked out the Barry's Bootcamp ones coming out in October? They are supposed to be 1/2 hour weights and 1/2 hour treadmill or alternate cardio (one body part per day). www.BarrysBootcamp.com
 
Adri and Dallys- the Halloween thing is like a big black tree with fiber optics with pumpkins, bats, and ghosts that hang off it. It has the changing lights, sound effects, or sound activation. The base is a little graveyard. Too cute. It's almost 2 feet tall.
