Good Morning, Lora, I will say I do not know how you do this. Here it is 3:58 and I am barely awake. I put waffles on for dh breakfast and set out syrup. I went to get butter and turned around and the syrup was a box of oatmeal. LOL I am going to go run on the treadmill and do upper body and abs. BBL

This morning was Back & Chest. Should have done Abs but I was pretty wiped out after this workout. Had a pretty good one even though my sleep last night was bad. Back to straight sets this week.

Underhand Barbell Rows:

[font color=blue]***These hurt my wrist a bit but I wore a wrist strap and that seemed to help.[/font]

Pullovers:
45# - 10/10/10

1:00 min. rest between sets
Barbell Bench Press:
115# - 6/6/5
[font color=blue]***Had Gene spot me with the last set because I knew I might not get the 6th rep out. I got it half way up and he had to help me. Kind of bummed me out because I have been able to rip 3 sets of 6 reps out with 115# for some time now. Just not a real strong day, I guess.[/font]

Decline Dumbbell Flyes:
35's - 10/10/10
[font color=blue]***Love this exercise. Really felt it.[/font]

Incline Dumbbell Press:
40's - 9/9/8 (up reps from last time)
[font color=blue]***This is the exercise that screwed up my wrist last week. It's when I bring the dumbbells down from the press to lay them down when I'm done. I felt a click in my wrist with each set. I probably should stick with a barbell for inclines. It would be safer.[/font]

I'm back. I ended up doing CIA - Infused Step with Gay Gasper ....cuz I LOVE the music on this one. It's mostly all recognizable hip/hop type songs that are pretty current. I'm not really a hip/hop girl...but I do like it for workout music. Reminds me of the old Tae Bo Live music in the day. Workout was 57" and I burned 416 calories. My HR stayed around 145-155 the entire workout....so I guess it was pretty intense and I was even having difficulty following it. Yes, my HRM is back from the dead. AMazingly, the button fell off the thing the other night and somehow, I got it back on and it started working again...for the moment.

I hope I didn't overdo it on my foot, as the doctor said I was supposed to ease into using my foot and not walk on it for more than 20" at a time. My foot hurts a bit. I did a few jumping jacks and other jumps cuz it's so hard not to.

I also did Core Pilates off of Prevention Slim, Sleek and Strong 20" and Namaste Yoga - Head to Knee 23", as well as Ravi & Ana's Detox - LIghten Up and Purify - Love Your Liver 25".

Diane Sue -what Bosu ab work do you do that you find intense? I need to do some abs on the Bosu. I'm not sure about doing cardio on it yet though. Thanks for the suggestions last night for cardio. I will be doing those soon. RE: getting up and working out.....the hard part for me is rolling out of bed, but once I'm awake, I'm AWAKE! Meant to ask you -- do you like the scent of Sugar Buzz or just the texture?

Deb - I heard another song from Linkin Park's new album, Given Up...I think that was the name of it. I really like it, as well as Bleed it OUt that I've heard before. I think I might have to scrape up some funds to buy the CD. Does it make a good workout CD?

Penney - Happy Birthday. I just had mine on Sunday. My DH & I are both Libra's. His birthday is the 11th. So - you and your DH are both Libra's too???

Tomorrow's M&F rotation doesn't look that hard on paper to me.......so I guess I'll find out when I do it tomorrow. It definitely looks shorter than the other one. The weather changed here and I've got a stupid migraine.

Lora - The new CD is ok. Lots of slower songs on it, though. The rapper dude is only on like one song and no one can figure out why. If you can get it cheap off of Ebay, do it that way. It's not worth full price.
 
Deb - thanks for telling me that. I figured the whole CD was like those 2 songs I liked!

Guess what everyone??? I got called for an interview at the Health Club that I applied at yesterday. I'm waiting for her to call back to set up an interview for today.
 
I am a little sore today, especially upper back. But I am heading to do some cardio, step or TM, not sure. But I have to do it now, so I can get my errands done before work tonight.

Deb- be careful with those wrists. And don't worry about that last rep you couldn't do. Like you said, your sleep was bad and that always affects strength.

Lora- good for you and good luck with that interview. that would be a sweeet job for you.

Char- your legs must be smokin huh?! Have a good WO.

I finished up my workout. After the run I went back and did Gym Style Chest & Triceps Super Sets premix (no w/up or str) then I did Gym Style Back, Shoulders and Biceps timesaver(no w/up) I finished with Butts and Guts abs adding some extra resistance on crunches and using heavier weight, Amy Bentos Abs & Stretch Stretch #1. Tomorrow I intend to get some yoga in.

Lora, when I do abs on the Bosu I usually use Bosu Blast abs. Sometimes I will add the balancing work from Sweatfest sculpt(that kind of hits everything a little though) I really do like the smell of sugar buzz. I used it last night so I could smell it when I went to bed:) Yeah I had a hard time getting up and moving but once I got going I was good.

Hi Ladies
My Guinea Pig Pookie passed away last night she was 8:( I so glad I was home to be with her her last minutes.She lived a long healthy life. My Lab,Bailey was even said she new somthing was wrong she gave Pookie kisses, it was so so sad:( I still have Dookie and she is 3 I hope she does ok without Pookie, they where buddies.
Not going to workout til tonight will be doing cardio.

Good morning!

This morning I decided to color my hair. I had to get it done before I leave and since it takes me about an hour and 45 minutes from start to finish (end of shower), I thought I'd do that this morning and do an hour of cardio tonight. That way I have that over with! So get this - my shower was rather long since my hair is so thick and takes a long time to get all of the color rinsed out. I turn off the shower and the faucet in the sink is on full blast - just like in those ghost hunter shows!!! I was using the sink just before getting into the shower to rinse off the clip I had in my hair so I could have accidentally left it on because I had the shower on warming up. So maybe I just had too much water running and didn't notice. But...

So I got out of the shower and turned it off and just then I heard what sounded like the toilet in the bathroom at the other end of the house flush. DH was long gone to work.

My biceps and calves have big ol' DOMS from BM2 yesterday. Yay!!!

Randi - I'm so sorry about Pookie. :( I hope you are doing okay. Hugs to you.

Lora - Congrats on the interview! Good luck!!!!!

Penney - Happy birthday!!!!! Is it today?

Off to the ground breaking for our new health sciences building. Yipee! I'm glad the weather is gorgeous and NO WIND! It's completely disrupted all of my senior citizen swimming classes b/c they have terrible parking now for the next 18-24 months and TRUST ME I hear about it. I've already given 3 refunds. But it will be a great addition for our region as there is such a shortage of healthcare workers everywhere and now we'll be able to train so many more.

Dallys - You funny girl! Sometimes we watch that Ghost Hunters show and that's happened before when they're trying to determine if a house is haunted. NOT that I believe in that stuff. :p A dog that we used to have would watch things that we would never see. One time a couple of years ago I was sitting on the couch and all of a sudden she looked like she saw something come around the corner from the kitchen and then walk toward us sitting on the couch (her and me) and then walk right up to us and then stand over me - it just kept getting closer as her head kept looking up higher and she was growling. I swear I thought I was going to have a heart attack!!! Then she just stopped. Gizmo is like that too, but sometimes with him I think it's just b/c he's one of those dogs who is afraid of his own shadow. Macy wasn't like that at all.

Suz- Wow! That is scary! I've never had something like that happen...yet.:eek: My dog has own-shawdow fear, but no phychic abilites. Really, it is weird about your faucet running and toilet flushing! I'd be worried about that for like, EVER! I think the soap container ghosts are after you? You shouldn't have messed with them at the Docs office!

So I did KPC abs, and managed 15 min on the TM before my son came in and somehow managed to fall and get his hand caught in the TM!! It was horrible.. He really did some damage on the inside of his pinky. So I took him to my moms and she helped me wrap it and she had burn medicine. He is alright, playing like normal. But it kinda put a damper on my WO.

I have only done KPC from Fit TV and I have it now and was previewing it, and can't wait to do it! I was gonna do it tonight after work, but my manager called and asked me to close tonight, so I might be a bit whipped tonight. Don't think I will be doing a WO at midnight! But who knows????

Randi- sorry about your loss. Hugs to you!

Suz- I DO believe in that stuff! My house has visiters, for sure. And no I am not crazy LOL! My son's both saw them (like your dog) when they were babies and toddlers. Alot of weird things go on here. More sincec the DH has moved out. I am pretty sure one of the ghosts is my grandfather, who lived here. DOn't think he liked my DH too much, so he is ccoming back around now that he is gone LOL!!!!

Meg - How scary about your son. I'm glad he's okay. Yikes! The weird thing about our house is that is pretty new. We've been there for 3.5 years (I think - I lose track of time) and the people before us had it built and only lived there a year and a half and got divorced. So it's a pretty new house. I'm sure it's all just conicidental. Whenever we say anything I always spell G-H-O-S-T if we're in the house. I never say it. :)
