Morning Maniacs -

I just got up. Didn't want to get out of bed and face this day. I feel like a complete failure. I still can't believe I'm jobless again.

I'm going to get ready to do some cardio and maybe some yoga.

I ended up doing Rebecca Small's Step to Success for with my own warm up and cool down. I did it on my higher step and kept repeating the segments to learn them better, as my mind doesn't seem to be functioning properly (too much going on up there). I ended up doing a total of 70" minutes of aerobics and then added Cathe's 10 Minute Stretch for the stretch. Total time with stretch was 1 hour 20 minutes and I burned around 537 calories.

I also did Bryan Kest's Original Power Yoga for Beginners - 30" followed by his Power Ab routine about 10".

My legs didn't really feel sore from yesterday except when I started stepping, I could feel them a bit. My abs don't seem to get sore from anything any more either.

I'm really depressed. I don't even want to get in the shower. You know it's pretty bad when you can't even say your prayers without crying.

Sorry to sound so down........but I still can't believe I have to go thru more of this crap. Life is really hard for me anymore. I don't even feel like I can go on.
 
Lora- I see you had a really good WO today. I am sorry that this rough patch seems never ending for you. You did a good job finding a job last time, so I have faith that you are strong enough to do it again. Just take your time, and you can do it. I wish you the best of luck. I hope you get to do some relaxing today. We are all here for you.

So, my ankle really hurts. Real nice. I am going to keep icing it today. I will try to do UB today. Maybe BM2 UB since alot of the moves are done on teh ball. I will play it by ear. Going to call my friend and tell her no walking today. Kinda of irritated that when I got there yesterday, she didn't feel like walking, and it was perfect weather. I wouldn't have felt so bad about my WO yesterday if we had walked. Oh well. Going to cancel my lovely *yearly* doc appt today too. Just lovely.

Sorry to butt in here - I'm not a regular Hard Core person. Read your post, Lora, and I really can relate. I've been through a lot of stuff your going through now, along with a spouse who is not supportive.

Have you ever considered signing up with a temp agency? They can find temporary to permanent jobs, so you can be working while they are looking for you. Let them do the work as far as finding the right fit as far as a job with the right company. Try to stay strong - I know it's hard.

Today is slow and heavy shoulders, biceps and cardio maybe abs too.

Meg I hope your ankle feels better today. BM2 double upper body is a great workout, have you tried it?

Meg- I sorry your ankle still hurts. And it sucks your friend wasn't really into walking yesterday. Hopefully she won't whimp out on you in the future. BM2 double upper is a good one!

Randi- Forgot to say, I'm happy you got to see your brother! How fun!

I'm BUTTING (a big butt for me) in here now.

Lora, I'm so sorry for you, but I think it's probably for the best. I have no doubt you will find something else. Sounded like people tiptoed around a lot there. Who wants to work in that environment? You are talented, kind, helpful and will land something else soon. For every door that closes, another one opens. Be patient, though I definitely know that it is difficult.

Ok my brother got me this cathe gift cert. and I dont know if I can wait till she comes out with something new or does anyone know when she is? I want either ME/Boot Camp or pub/plb. Help I cant decide!

I will probably do ME/BC since I have plenty of cathe's heavy weight workouts. I do different rotations each month so I need all her workouts:)I dont know I cant make up my mind I wonder if she is coming out with anything new soon haaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!
 
Randi- yeah, I have done double UB! Great one, probably will attempt it later since you sit on your tuckus during most of the moves LOL! Oh, PUB?PLB is great, but I LOVE ME and BC is a killer! Have fun! Great Brother you have!

Dallys- have a good one. It worked out today with my friend since her daughter is sick, but we ran into eachother at the gas station after I dropped CHase off, and she bought a box of doughnuts! I didn't say anything, but you know... SHe is the one who brought up working to lose weight. SHe isn't fat, but she has left over baby belly from her twins. Oh well. I wonder if she will whimp out. Either way, it is nice to visit with her though.

Deb- how are the rest days going? Getting ansy yet?

Char- where is the butt pics???? LOL!

Maybe I should take some butt pics! HA! m-a-y-b-e, but others have to also! LOL! What a bunch of freaks we are.

Trying to stay happy, but my ankle is swollen and it hurts. I am elevating and icing. I have a frozen bag of fruit in my sock and propped up on the desk here. Not having a good feeling about it. It is swollen all around my ankle bone and it hurts to bend it. If it is not any better tomorrow, I better call the doc, but I REALLY don't want to hear that official *NO EXERCISING*. Boohoohooo.....

Hey Everybody!

I'm here!!! I've been soooooooooooooooo busy at work! No time for checking in on you all. :( I miss you though. I'm not sure when/if the madness at work will end. I love being busy though. Makes my days fly by. But a little less busy would suit me just fine. :)

Lora - I'm sorry about your job. I know you weren't happy there so I'm sure it's for the best. I like cakebakers idea of a temp agency. I've done that and it has led to full-time employment more than once (when I was in college and when I relocated from LA to Wyoming). It's a great way to make money while you're looking for a job. And it helps keep your spirits up. You can work only a couple of days a week and interview a couple if you need to also. Good luck!

I'm getting bored with P90X! I get bored easily. I'm doing cardio this week too. I still love Tony and love the workouts but I'm getting ants in my pants. How much longer do we have????? I started the Body for Life eating plan yesterday b/c I just can't seem to get control of myself. :p Once I get myself under control I'll be much better. I had to go to the neurologist yesterday and he's bumping me up to 150mg of Topamax (125 for 2 weeks then 150) so we'll see if THAT drops my appetite. But I woke up pretty hungry this morning so it's not working yet! :)

Okay, back to work. Randi - I'm so happy you have your brother home.

I thought the last phase in P90X was really tough to get thru. I remember thinking if I did it again I'd only do 8 weeks. LOL! But somehow I made it to the end, not once, but 2 times! I think you will see alot of change in this last month. STICK WITH IT! Like I told Char. You guys can do it! Just hang in there!

Char- There is change! I can see it in the back and shoulder area for sure! I think it's the first pic that shows that. I also can see more definition in your arms. It's slight, but it's there Baby!:)

I am so bored i can not stand it.It is snowing and i don't want to chance an accident so i decided no shopping.
I am not used to this and i am trying to heal up...Everything is itchy.OOOOH.


I am doing something i never do. I am having a glass of wine for lunch. Maybe i will sleep....Maybe i should just take a pill for the heck of it. I don't need one today but i will sleep...LOL...

Char- I agree, more def in the bag and your bis are a tad bigger. I also see more def in your obliques too. Awesome abs girly. Can't wait to see the next set of pics.

I have a "bag" now??? EW..where??? LMAO! I don't wanna be no kangaroo mama. he he. I know what you meant..just having fun with ya! I am glad I started the yoga though. Like I told ya yesterday, my kicks are stronger now and I kick higher. Getting more flexible. Able to almost put my entire palm down on floor at times. When I started only fingers. Can't wait to do the yoga soon.

Hope your ankle gets better fast. Have a nice upper body workout. Doing yoga in about 30 mins. FIL is sick now. Fever of 101. Not good especially for him in his state. Stubborn too so I am not gonna start getting into it with him and nagging him. If he won't eat, then he won't eat. His choice.

I get horribly bored too..almost everyday. I am mentally and physically a very restless person. Picking my nose does not satisfy me. Just kidding! he he. Can't sit still and my brain doesn't shut off unless I have the flu or something and then I couldn't even tell you my name. Some days a traquilizer would be good for me. Glad you like my butt, BUT I will keep the avatar the same..thank you very much;) Now I am motivated to do pushups. HA HA! You know someone on here claimed once she did pushups and it made her boobs bigger. Most intelligent people knew she got a boob job though. ;) Nice try though. LMAO!

That is what I said yesterday about P90X and now Bionics said she notices changes. I better not throw in the towely just yet. You better not either. Hang loose girlfriend.
 
FInished my workout and am now into some packing before I go get the grandchildren. I have to have everything ready to move by the 16th of Feb. Not much time. Today I did Cardio Coach #5 on the treadmill. I stayed a little longer to make it 5 miles. Then I did Amy Bento's Core from APX I did barbell rollouts instead of the gliding discs at the last, then I did 3 sets of hanging knee raises 10# 15 reps, I followed this with Tracey Staehle Core conditioning adding some resistance skipping the w/up and then Amy's Stretch #2.
Tomorrow I will start on P90X 3 days. Next week I think I am going to do S&H 1 body part a day and cardio. I have to find time to pack and stuff.

Charlotte, you look great. I think there is more definition in your back & arms. I looked at your fall pics again as well. You look great in both:) No bags :7

Got to run, we need to go to the house we are buying at 6 to check out what we need to do. I will paint the workout room and I wanted to measure it so I can see how my stuff will fit. I will have a door going off the workout room into one of the baths so that will be nice. I have to figure out what I will do my cardio on though as it has ceramic tile.
