Morning Maniacs -

This morning I did Rockin' Body with Sean T - Hip Hop. Workout was 53" and I burned 437 calories.

Have great workouts everyone.

Toasty - Tiki Queen is a little sweet, but not real sweet.

Diane Sue - There is only cardio in the premix version of the new Kelly's. She has 2 premixes, one with ab work as the rest between weights and one version with low cardio as the rest between weight sets.
 
FINALLY!!!!!!! The scale budged!!! Down 2 pounds. I am ecstatic. I was getting a tad bit discouraged, but so much more determined now. Not sure what WO I will do, but I can't dillydally all morning because I have an appt this afternoon.

Well, my dh gave me a couple Claritin D's yesterday and they really cleared up my sinuses. Two side effects I've had so far: 1. Couldn't sleep last night and 2. My HR was elevated this morning.

I chose Cardio Coach #6 with Sean and had an excellent workout. With my HR elevated I hit my zone 4 with each challenge. But the weird thing was I didn't feel like I was in zone 4. I was breathing fine and felt like I could keep going. Not sure what that's all about but I was happy that I reached zone 4 so easily! LOL!

A bit short on time this more but wanted to check in. Did Push Pull this morning but plan on adding some more core work and abs later.

Good Morning, I started this morning with Cardio Coach#2 and stayed on the treadmill for 1 hr17 min. adding more hills. I went 5.29 miles. I am going to do P90X+ abs and some yoga in a bit.

Lora, for the information on Kelly's workouts. Were they short duration cardios.

Maeghan, good for you on the weight loss.

Debbie, when I take the allergy meds I think my HR goes up more but I don't think it is easy because I usually feel exhausted at the same time. My doctor just gave me singulair and I have a hard time getting out of bed in the morning and sleep is intermittent.

Morning Maniacs,

Head is all stuffed up this morning. What fun! Anyway did CC #7 for the first time and really like that one. Workout was 63 minutes, travelled 5.39 miles, average HR 162, and 907 calories burned. It's been awhile since I ran for a full hour.

Lora - Is Rockin' Body fun? Sounds like it could be fun.

Megadoo - Congratulations of the weight loss! Isn't great when the scale starts to move!

Debbie - I have to ask about CC #7, do you find by challenge 3 you barely have to change your settings to hit zone 3. That's what happened to me.

Linda - You did really well with CC #7. I can't believe you went 5.39 miles. Holy ####! You rock girl! Excellent calorie burn, too. I usually only hit 400 with that one. I usually always have to change my settings with these workouts. I don't know why. I recover so fast with the challenges and I'm ready to hit it hard again with the next one. Hill climbs always take me a while to get to my zones.

I think I'm building and that's putting the scale up, but my clothes still fit okay, but I would really like to lose 10lbs!

The X is here! The X is here!!! I guess I will do the Classic. I am going to try to stick with the Fat Shredder diet, atleast for a week, just to jump start. If I feel I am starving, or not enough energy, I will add more.
I just did AbRipperX, and will have to do Chest and Back later this afternoon when I get home. Can't wait! Very excited for this. I need to take pics tho. I will see if my son Chase can help me. lol That will be cute!

Good Morning Maniacs!!!

I have no time for personals this morning. Dh is home and we got some stuff to do after we workout. Gonna work biceps/back this morning and abs and get on elliptical. Busy..busy..busy.

Char - I downloaded those songs you told me about. I can't seem to find the Sexy Back one, though. Bummer, I love that song. I'll let you know what I think when I listen to them.
 
I finished my workout with p90X Abs/Core+ then I did Pyramid upper abs using a 15# med ball for all but the pikes, I finished with Yoga Shatki Standing back bend pre, lunge back bend prep, supine, and inversions(this took 27 min). I had my granddaughter come in with an ear infection so decided I had enough for the day. I have to pick up the rest of the children this afternoon.

Maeghan, glad you got your P90X. I stuck with the fat shredder plan for a long time the first time I did it. So my refrigerator stayed stocked with the same stuff. If you are real hungry you can just up the portion sizes.

I must of had a great workout yesterday my legs are so sore!! Today is CM#2 and KM it's going to be hard to do the blast challenge and leg workout cause i'm so sore.
On my lunch break gotta go

M2: Cinnamon Roll BSN w/ 1/2 c. oats & 1 tbsp. ground flaxseed
M3: Chicken breast; 2 tbsp. raw almonds
M4: 1/2 c. Cottage Cheese & yogurt mixed together
M5: 92% ff beef patty; salad w/light Honey mustard dressing; 1 tbsp. raw almonds
M6: Banana Protein pancake w/ 2 tbsp. power pb

53 g. fat - 29%
170 g. protein - 41%
132 g. carbs - 31%

Carbs need to go down but I'm taking my time on it. Next week I'll try to get under 125 grams.
 
Megadoo - congrats on your weight loss and the P90X! Have fun with that.

Today I teach boot camp so I will get the cardio in.

Debbie - I have the same reaction to sinus medications with decongestants. I usually take allegra D - but find I cannot take it at night.

Just did Chest and Back. Abs are already sore. My chest is pretty fried. Did I mention how much I *love* pushupsx( I don't have the bar, so I used my bands.

DS- yeah, I am going to try and do the same. I want it to be easy so I don't have any excuses. I really read over the nutrition plan, and will prob go to the store tomorrow to get anything I need. MOst of the recipes are simple also, and seem doable, or eatable lol. Just not Cottage Cheese. Oh, how that makes me gag!!!!

Off to dye my hair again. It is two diff colors, so this will be interesting!

I did Slow & Heavy Chest and Back tonight! My weights were higher than Cathe's and some the same! I think this was a great workout. Enjoyed it. Debbie I'm still keeping your tips on training too. I'll be doing that rotation in about 4 weeks (the second one you gave me) just needed a change of pace. I don't go as slow as Cathe on these, I just have a steady pace, but not too fast either.

Linda - My water intake has been GREAT the past two days. I've got in already today 68 ozs. I'm so proud of myself for that. Now if I can just get my eating clean clean. I'm doing better on my eating, but still room for improvement!
