Morning Maniacs -

This morning I did WSFL cardio. I did 5 work periods of Intervals 60 on and 120 recovery (but I shortened the recovery). I used the Rebounder for the intervals and jogged around the house, down the cellar and up into the upstairs for the other part. For the 20 min segment, I did Amy's In the Ring (errr....she frustrates me with her complex coreography). Total cardio was 60" with cooldown/stretch and I burned 519 calories.

Dallys - no - it's not really hard doing HIIT after weights......cuz you actually do them right after you finish your 2nd 10" metabolic weight circuit and that is so killer that, at that point, you're just happy to be done with the metabolic circuits!! LOL! Cardio Coaches are actually harder for me than any other intervals....cuz he does longer intervals at 2-3-4 minutes, etc. The shorter ones are much easier for me. How are the RCR cardio segments?

Linda- what is your apex? I'm trying to figure out if I'm doing those ball crunches correctly. They don't make me want to puke.....so I'm wondering. I am bending my back way over the ball on the downward part. Do you have Turbulunce Training? By the way, my HR gets up to around 140ish doing the step ups and swings for 10 minutes. That's not super high....but good for having your feet planted on the ground!

I have my phone interview this morning for that job. I'm still happy at my current job except for the "no insurance" part. Not sure if I'll ever get used to the hours....but the environment makes me overlook the long hours. I really don't want another job and I'm really torn over what I would do if I would get offered another job with benefits. I really would only need them if something happened to my DH's job.

Hello Maniacs,

I did Step Blast, abs from Step, Jump and Pump and this afternoon will do some upper body work. I am leaving for vacation tomorrow and getting a little nervous about my workouts. We are staying with friends part of the time. I am thinking of using this coming week as a rest week (which I have never done) Have a great day everyone.

Had a great workout this morning. My upper body is screaming at me right now. Love this superset week.

[font color=blue]***Was kind of bummed that I didn't do better with the pullups. I can do chins so much better. I really wanted to get about 10 reps with the first set. I failed really fast.[/font]

[font color=blue]***Should have went a bit higher with the pullovers but got a great burn in my upper back. I really concentrated on the pulling movement using my lats.[/font]

[font color=blue]***I used the wider part of the ez curl bar and this made a huge difference. By the fourth set it was all I could do to rip out 8 reps. [/font]

[font color=blue]***Should have used 15's for the alternate curls but my biceps were fried at this point. But I did feel like I could have gone heavier. My biceps were so pumped that I had a hard time stretching them out. LOL![/font]

I am feeling better today I had this awful cough last night but I slept pretty good.

Debbie: Nice workout! Crazy isn’t it time is flying.

Lora: You are one tough cookie, nice job!

Toasty: I love Lowmax, it’s my favorite cardio really get the legs good, enjoy.

This morning I did:
Squats:
6 sets of 16 -- 45/45/50/50/60/55

Front lunges:
4 sets of 16 -- 15/15/10/15

Back lunges
2 sets of 16 -- 10/10

Pile squats
4 sets of 16 15/10/10/15

Leg press
3 sets of 16 10/10/10

Dead Lift:
2 sets of 16 – 50/50

Afterwards, did Strike Zone (paddle work) This felted good lots of kicks, side leg raises, squats and punching. Back to work need to get report out.

Oh meaning to ask, did you guys buy Cathe STS?

Deb- That is a pretty intense WO when your muscles don't wanna stretch lol, good job

Lora- Good luck with your interview. But if you are happy, I wouldn't change it.

Morning Manias!
This monrning I did TJ Cardio mix Party # 2, 45 minute workout. Still feeling tired, but glad that I got up and got my w/o in!

It's a busy day today at work so no time for personals, but will try to get back on later and chat! Great workouts by the way! Burn it up!

Morning Maniacs! Yesterday we went on a mtn. bike ride in the canyon. I did much better on the hill climbs...I almost impressed myself... Yeah! Got home at 9:00. Ride was 2 hrs. and I burned 800 calories. So, it seems I'm staying pretty close to 400 or 500 calorie burns per hr. on my bike rides. Although, it feels like much more sometimes. LOL! The temperature was 20 degrees lower up in the mountains! We were almost chilled towards the end. I'm getting ready to do RCR workout-A and I want to do my steady-state bike ride on the canyon river trail again.

Lora-
There are 3 HIIT workouts in RCR. They are 5/5 for workout #1, 2/2 for Workout #2 and 1/1 for workout #3, all for 30 min.. I think the cardio coaches are harder too. I think I'll do those instead from now on.
But, if I'm outside riding, I'm counting that as my HIIT days.

Good Morning Ladies:)
After five days off my body is sore from the last 2 days of working out! Yesterday I did cardio conditioning from KPC then 4DS kickbox. Today might do Power Hour. This is the last week of endurance. I've noticed I've lost some bulk to my muscles, i've gotten smaller. Does anyone else notice that when they do endurance? I know it's best top switch some things up

Yeah, as a matter of fact, we some some crazy guy last night. He was riding alone and waved us down and wanted to talk to us. He was talking super fast, like he was on crack or something. We'd try and talk and he'd cut us off and start talking super fast again saying, "I gotta take some pictures, I gotta take some pictures". We got outta there fast! Psycho!

Seems like you always see something or someone weird when biking. I swear everytime I do. Never fails. I got to squeeze in more bike rides before it gets hot again. I probably should be going today cuz the temps are just perfect for it, but I got to hit the weights instead.. a must! Gonna see what I can see on my next ride...be either trash pickin' woman in town or the drunk that weaves in and out and I almost run into him everytime. Can't hear either..say excuse me very loud..he is the one that took "a trip" and never came back! lol

Debbie, I am glad your week is going quickly - that means it has been a good one. I woke up saying - is it only thursday! I guess becuase I have been under the weather. Still running fever so taking workouts easy.

Yesterday I did boot camp class and it was fun. Got my legs shaking. Resting today and hope to feel better to start back hitting it hard this weekend.

Lora - you are doing really great. I was the same - really liking the intervals because it ended the circuit! Those circuits are killer! When I was doing that I was rolling way back on the ball to get a good stretch in the muscle before contracting it.

Anyway, tell me about your job interview? What is this one about? Good luck with it. Benefits are so necessary in this crazy day in which we live.

I know! There are crazy people EVERYWHERE! Forgot to say that someone tried to steal our bike rack off of our car while we were riding. DH could tell it had been messed with. Luckily we had a lock on it. What's wrong with people? Get a job or a life or whatever and go buy your own stuff!

I’m sitting here yarning like (((CRAZY))) needing a nap. Am also trying to decide if I want to continue with P90X or move on too a total upper body workout, probably should move on since TB works bests for me, hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Dallys: (Hate how work interferes with my life, LOL!) ;) EXACTLY! I was thinking the same thang just think of the things will could be doing.

I pre-ordered STS awhile back but having second thoughts, just thinking about what I could do with $210 bucks :eek: ;) :7
