Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for Thurs Dec 7

Good evening,
Today I did Kick Max Premix Bootcamp no str, then KPC starting after the intermediate segment and stopping at the abs. Then I did Amy Bento's All Pump Extreme Lower Body nrg. This was agood workout. I had to double check because the the forums said 44 minutes, the dvd said 55 minutes but for some reason the core work was on this one so it was 68 minutes. I skipped the core and repeated the first 3 exercises. I think the 55 minutes would have been accurate without the core work. Tomorrow I am doing Amy's upper body nrg.

Suz, I had to laugh at you bringing it. I know the Imitrex always makes me really sleepy. I went to bed with a headache myself. I woke up early and it was massive. I got up and took aspirin, then a few minutes later I forgot I took the aspirin and too Excedrin. I guess I really wanted that headache to go away. Once i had some coffee and started moving it lightened up. Still trying to hang on though.

Charlotte, are you really liking the P90X workouts? I figured they would be something you would enjoy.

Lora, you can deal with this. I think you are a lot stronger than you give yourself credit for. My heart goes out to you.

Lora (((hugs))) to you! I'll be thinking of you and sending good vibes that you can find a new job. I think all of us agree that you are a very strong person. You've been thru more than most people ever do and you've CONQUERED! We are all pulling for you and know that things will get better.

Deb, hope you enjoyed your rest day. We have snow predicted here on the west coast too. We're scheduled to go cut a Christmas tree on Saturday. Hope the weather doesn't interfere.

Amber, hope you enjoyed YogaX.

Dallys, please don't feel bummed that you didn't lift lots more than Cathe. I like the slower pace of lifting with Tony too. We have a Bowflex and I like to lift on that sometimes to my own music. Yes, I get up early because that's the only way I'd get to do a workout. But tomorrow is my day off and I can take my time with my workout. It'll be Legs & Back for me. My little biceps are starting to get firm again. Like that. Not having the hunger I had the 1st 2 days.

Maeghan, sounds like you had one heck of a good workout yesterday. Way to go!

Suz, darn it, that pesky migraine stuff again. I thought the new medicine was supposed to help with this. Seemed like you had a good spell where you didn't get any. How was YogaX for you? I liked it okay, but I picture myself using some of my other yoga DVD's too.

Randi, sounds like a good workout. Nice blend of weights and cardio. Enjoy your rest day tomorrow.

Diane Sue - What a great workout! I'm sorry you had a headache too. I think they must mess with our though processes - since you forgot you took something and then took something right after that. We just get desperate to get rid of the pain! :)

I just finished Yoga X. What a long workout! I loved the second 45 minutes. :) The first 45 minutes were harder. It's not a bad workout to do before bed. I was actually more flexible at the end. I'm really not flexible at all. Hopefully I'll get better at yoga and I imagine I'll get more flexible.
