Char - I agree with Diane Sue. It does take time to see results for weight loss. It won't happen over night. I'm on a 12 week cutting program right now and it will take me at least 8 to 10 weeks to get me to where I want to be again. I know this, so I just plan for it and I'm patient if you can believe that! LOL!

Afternoon Maniacs,

I see everyone is working hard as usual. This morning was cardio for me I CC# 4 and worked it hard. Workout was 47 min, 4 miles traveled, 160 Average heart rate and 675 calories burned. Legs are tired!

Char As everyone has already told you, you look great. But I feel your pain. I've completely cleaned up my eating, I am now eating better than I ever have and yet the scale refuses to budge. I think I may throw it out. I usually try not to weigh myself, but right now I need to see whats working and what's not and right now nothing is!

Coni - Welcome Back! It's so nice you and Char are friends. None of my friends would even dream of working out. That's why I come here.

Teddygirl - Thanks for the compliment, but most of the time I feel like a wimp compared to Debbie and Char. Still hoping you feel better soon!

Debbie - Hope you knock that virus out before you start feeling it. My kids are sick so I am worried. I am so done with colds, is it summer yet?

I will probably not be able to work out this weekend. We are getting my father-in-law's house ready to sell and have a busy weekend planned with that. Hopefully I can get a run in. He live(d) in a very hilly area and it is a tough workout when I run there.

I was supposed to do Core Synergistics today but ended up doing Total Body + instead. Partly a time issue but also just felt like more of a challenge.

Char- I can not tell you how many times my hair has gotten stuck in that lip gloss already!!!! I swear sometimes I just suck at being a girl:eek: Tuesday was super fun though.

Maeghan- thanks for adding me on myspace, now I can bug you there too ;-) I love your page.
 
Finally home. I had a doctor appt after work.

Coni - Really good to have you on the check in. I look forward to getting to know you better and chatting. I didn't have time to look at Toasty's pic trail....bt i'll look soon. I LOVE cats. I have 3. I would have more but DH says 3 are the limit. They are SO spoiled in this household.

Diane Sue - You scared me. I was planning doing heavier weight workouts soon....but the last thing I need is an increased appetite...as I already have that probelm. Have you ever tried Too Faced cosmetics? It's not pure mineral makeup...but it's a real fun line. I've used it in the past. I just bought a makeup/kit pallete from Sephora for $40 and boy is it nice. I has everything from blush to eyeshadow to bronzer (in mini sizes) and 6 lip glosses. I'm super impressed. You should check it out.

Char - You're NOT even fat. I don't even want to hear it. If you are fat, I'm the freakin' good year blimp....NO freakin SH#$!!! Over the years, I've had a weight amount in mind that is my "do not go over" weight and told myself if I ever went over it, I'd really have to buckle down and diet. I've been 5 pounds over that for a while now and it won't budge. It makes my self esteem plunge also! A pound of mine is probably muscle...but that's it. I didn't know you loved chocolate as much as me.

I bought some Burt's Bees "Naturally Ageless Line Diminishing" day lotion at the drugstore when I stopped to get my Rx filled. I used it when I washed my face and my skin looks like a babys. Seriously, I look like I'm in my 20's again. Plumped my skin and got rid of any trace of a fine line. Baby's butt here! It's some good stuff. I used to always like their Marshmallow Vanishing cream but it's been discontinued so I tried this.

Teddy Girl - don't give up on Amy....I'm sure once we do it a few times, it will get easier to follow.

I couldn't do anymore than 3 of the unassisted and had a very very hard time doing the 3rd one!

Chest
Incline Barbell Press:
75# - 8/6/4
My hubby had to help me with these tonight, he made me go all the way down to my chest (he wanted me to have full range of motion and he knew I could do it) good that he was there, but man were these hard!

Hamstrings
Elevated SLDL's:
80# - 8/8/8

Biceps
Concentration Curls:
20# - 8/8/8
These really felt great!

Quads
Leg Extensions:
50# - 8
60# - 8
70# - 8
Probably could have done 70 for all three sets!

Shoulders
Upright Rows:
35# - 8/8/8
Feeling strong with these, love the way they hit this area of my shoulders.

Calves
25# - 16/16
I don't have any of the Gym Styles so had to do one legged calf raises.

Feeling really strong!

I just did Muscle Max ab work today. The rest of my body is sore as crap so I just rested those parts. Tomorrow is Chest/Back, I believe and will get on elliptical as well.

That lip gloss is tasty though. I know when I got back home after a few times of it getting in my hair, my hair was very hard to brush. lol. Can't wear that stuff on windy days, I suppose.

To most, the way I feel and the way I am with certain things is EXTREME, to say the least. I am just hard on myself, but when I feel something is very different and has gotten even a teeny bit out of control..I freak. I think I am well on my way to losing it though. I already been on the scale tonight and it reads 121 in the evening. Usually has been like 124 so tomorrow I cannot wait to see what it says. I am a nut...what can I say. Yes, you know I love chocolate, but got to go back to treating only on once every 2 weeks or something. Gotta learn to love tuna, etc.

I am getting that Burts Bee stuff. Your skin always looks so nice. I cannot even imagine how nice it is now. WOW! I am still gonna get Obagi Vit C Serum for face when I get some more muula.
 
Lora, I posted about my rotation yesterday. It has been long workouts so I think that is part of it. I have also been doing some longer intense and different cardios that are new. I just think it has increased my appetite. Last time I weighted I was still at 114 lbs.. I hardly change. I don't think you have anything to worry about. I like two faced liner sealant. I cannot think of the name if it. It is clear but just like a regular liquid liner. I used it with my minerals before I bought the one from Aromaleigh. I think it outshines Aromaleigh and it lasted a long time. You are limited to lining though.
