Morning Maniacs -

I'm off to do some cardio.....maybe CC and some Step. I also need to do Squeeze for lower body and some yoga..............be back in a while.

Netta - is the perfume oil you found on DSHperfume's the Passionflower Poeme one? How much is she asking these days? I'll tell you if I think it's worth it for the bottle size. Hope you like Squeeze!

Morning crazy ladies.

Take care all. Check back later..

Hello everyone...

This morning I had a great workout and I didn't even feel like working out. Funny how I usually have my best workouts on days that I just don't feel like doing it.

I did Cardio Coach #1 and then added Challenge #1 from the Press Play workout. I love that challenge, it alternates 10 - 1 minute hill climbs with 1 minute sprints and there is a 30 second rest between each interval. I love this challenge, its so fun!

Did Butts & Guts stretch which I really like. The music is beautiful. Workout was 1:08, was in my zone for 47 minutes and burned 347 calories.

Hope you all have great workouts! Tomorrow is my rest day!

Finally made it back here.

I ended up doing Cardio Coach 1 on the Treadmill with one drill on the Ellipitcal. I then did Turbo Jam Fat Blaster. Total cardio was 65 minutes with stretch and I burned 460 calories. I then did Power Squeeze lower body/abs and added on a couple other segments. I also did Peter Sterios' Gravity & Grace Yoga - 75".

Legs are toast .........and I'm supposed to do a total body tomorrow before I leave for Vegas! yikes.

Great workouts everyone! Have a great day.

Netta- if it's the Perfume Poem's Passionflower one, I'd sample it, you'll most likely love it, however the 1/3 oz size it comes in (used to at least) is sort of costly......used to be $47 or something similiar. Check that out first. That's why I stopped buying from her. She used to be reasonable but then she doubled her prices and it got too costly for me.

Morning Maniacs! Today will be Legs and Glutes. funny, I'm still sore from PP upperbody from Tuesday! The weather has turned cold here, not to happy about that.:(

Anne- LOL! I wish I could burn that high of cals. doing a workout in the basement! I could no way spend 2 1/2 hr working out inside. I'd go nuts! When you are on your bike, you don't notice the time it's taking...until you get home. Oy! I've got some workouts I need to get rid of also.

Debbie- Sometimes that happens to me too. But then sometimes, I feel real into working out and end up having a weak day? Strange.

Jen- How are you liking that rotation so far? Looks like a great one.

Jeanette- Nice to see you pop in. :)

Lora-Enjoy your workout today.

Diane Sue- Enjoy your workout today too.

I'm just getting ready to take my oldest cat to the Vet. He got sick yesterday. I hope it's not serious.

Which reminds me -- did everyone here see the additional Pet Food recall for Rice Protein?

Diane Sue - I had one of those Asian Salad's from McD's for lunch and I was starving! All it was was greens......and maybe 2 carrot chips and a couple beans! Yikes! I was like, what's for lunch. I guess the chicken makes it a lot more filling. The dressing was very good though! At least they didn't charge me for the chicken like Arby's does when I don't get it (most places do!).

That's why I hate taking my oldest cat to the Vet. We gave him a tranquilizer to take him cuz he turns into a severe attack cat at the vet.....and when we got there, he was still growling and trying to get everyone. They had to gas him to treat him. He's wobbling all around now. We will get his bloodwork back tomorrow.

Where is everyone? Busy...Busy....Busy!

It looks like everyone has been busy today. I got my errands ran and now have to finish up around the house.

Lora, how is your older cat? I never heard about the other pet food recall. i always buy my food at Pets Mart and they are pretty good about removing stuff from the shelves right away and hanging notices up. That is to bad they didn't put much on your salad. I really love that dressing. Sometimes if I get a salad that is lacking I dump some almonds and extra stuff on it when I get it home. They charge so much for their salads it looks like they could give you enough to eat. Funny, I got my soaps today and they had two chocolates in the box. Well, I was really hungry and had just finished all the kickboxing so I had to eat them :D I think it gave me more energy for my weight workout LOL

Diane Sue - Tyler is about 10-11. Yes, the recall was yesterday. We bought different food cuz our Vet told us not to feed our cats any dry food (even though the recall was wet) with wheat gluten or rice protein. I wonder what they will recall next? This is horrible! We had to buy our baby Dr. Hill's Science Diet and some of their dry food (prescription only) was recalled.....but that's what my vet recommended! Did you see the post where I mentioned that my Vet is running for President! I couldn't believe it. I don't know what on earth has gotten into him. I guess he has to go for his dreams. Got to give him credit for that. Not sure if he'll generate any publicity at all (or have enough money to do so with his campaign) but if you ever see him on the news, his name is Donald Allen. He's a really good Vet. Very well liked in the community. He's very compassionate with the animals.

Hi ladies! Tonight's WO was CIA Cardio Camp, stopping at min 50 and adding 10 min Kickbox Solution Arms Segment and Washboard Abs Segment. I rented the WO from Netflix and it was pretty good overall-I'll have to do it again to decide whether it is worth a purchase.

Dallys-Saw that you did Push/Pull 3 sets UB premix the other day...that's such a toughie! You are right about PP/SS being underrated-the premixes especially are NO JOKE! I am really enjoying the Getting Ready for Summer Rotation. Coming off of a muscle building rotation to an endurance rotation is more difficult than I remembered. I felt so strong on muscle building and endurance makes me feel weak...but I can tell it's keeping my muscles confused. I was sore most of the first week but my motivation is usually very high on week 1 since I am so thankful for a change, that I don't mind the soreness as much. :) I start to fade about week 3 and then usually finish strong in week 4 since I am happy to know I'll be moving on.

Diane Sue-I skimmed the prior posts to get caught up on reading about Puddle-that is such good news that it wasn't anything life-threatening! Are you still taking her to the vet for follow-ups or is most of her acute phase over?

Question for all: How obsessive are you about rotations? How do you schedule your rotations? For example, if each rotation is a month, do you preplan your rotations over a year to make sure you are getting even amounts of strength rotations, endurance rotations, and fat loss rotations?

Have a great night everyone!

Jen

Jen, the vet called me today to check on Puddle. He says to keep her on some anti inflamitory for awhile since she is still favoring one leg yet. He suggested trying aspirin for awhile. He wants me to call in a week and update him on her condition. She was actually outside trying to run and hop around playing. I am supposed to try to keep her off her feet as much as possible. The grandchildren were outside playing so she really wanted time with them. I didn't let her spend to long though. She is almost herself again.
As far aas rotations I don't preplan way ahead. I go buy how I look and if I seem to have adapted to one type of workout. I know what you mean about going from a strength training workout to an endurance one. I know when I am done with this strength rotation I am going to do some endurance for awhile.

Hey Maniacs! I finishe up Legs and Glutes alittle earlier. Forgot how tough this one can be. The ankle weights felt like cement casts. Oy!

Jen- That was the first time I've ever done the PP 3x pre-mix. It's a toughy for sure (can't believe I've never done it before). Endurance workouts are tough after a muscle building rotation and then you get into circuit workouts and that will humble you real fast! About rotatation planning; I usually only plan a rotation one at a time. I like to see how it works and then go from there. Although I have a general idea of what's next. Right now, I'm using the PP/SS dvd to finish out the month and then I'll start something new. Either NROL fatloss 2 or 3, or a Turbulance Training rotation.
It's been tough planning around the Mt. Biking because it's so taxing on me. LOL!

Lora- Hope your cat will be ok. Cool about your Vet. :)
