Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for Sunday Nov 19

Hey Anne!

I am here. Not hiding. lol. Just got back from Maryland not too long ago. No workouts today. Just no time. Had a heck of a time shopping with dd and her friend. Ate tons of food. Bought some more Nitrobolic at GNC. My son stayed with dad at pops place, my FIL. They watched movies and such. We are going to see a movie tonight and I got to go make dinner.

Chat with ya'll more tomorrow.

Suz, I love the fact that I can see now. I see better than I did with contacts and glasses. I had a two step process done. One is called custom vue. I was told at the start it might take 3 procedures. I had very bad eyesight and the first time I had went in they told me they could not help me. I think it is incredibly awesome to be able to read even the small print:) I had been wearing glasses since I was 6 years old.

Hey Ladies!
Just finished BM2 boot camp premix it was a good workout}( I think i'm going to do 4 more weeks of heavy cardio / circuit / total body, then maybe go into heavy weight work. I'm liking the results i see with heavy cardio.

Diane Sue,were you able to w/o after the surg. I am trying to talk dh into it. I have 20/20. He can't go pee at night w/o his glasses. He is afraid of them screwing up.

Deb, with all the weight you lift i figured you might need a spotter!!!!

Yes, I worked out the next morning. After the surgury I had to wear dark glasses and avoid fans and car air conditioning. They said to mainly rest but I could watch some television. I felt like there was little to fear. Oh I had to wear goggles to bed for awhile. I guess to keep you from rubbing your eyes in your sleep while they are healing. I highly recommend this. Just make sure you choose someone who has done a lot of surguries.

Randi - great workout. You've really been burning some calories! Way to go!!!

Diane Sue - I had forgotten all about the goggles at night and stuff. I think you're right that it's so that you don't scratch your eyes. And that's good advice to make sure you go to someone who's been doing the surgery for awhile. I think that was what happened to DH. It was still so new and there weren't a lot of experienced doctors. But he sure wouldn't trade it for the world. And he can read all the small print in the world. I can't read a darn thing that's small without my reading glasses (well, I can read my Bible but it's a strain - but that's about as small as I can go) and I always had 20/20. I'm happy for people like you and Mitch who had glasses so young. You guys deserve it!!!

Thanks Sue:)

Diane Sue I got the lazer eye surgery done last xmas and it is wonderful!

Today I had CPR class for my dog just incase anything would happen. It was taught by the american red cross. It was so informative! I'm so glad I did it. I have a chocolate lab named Bailey, I love her so much!
Have a good night
Randi

Randi, I didn't know they had cpr for dogs. I have been to ones for children. As many odd things that dogs chew I would think that would be a good thing to know. I am really careful about what my dogs chew. If I do give them a rawhide chew I am there and they are large pieces. Chocolate labs are such great looking dogs. Labs are a fun breed.
