Morning Maniacs -
This morning I did Spinervals Suffer-O-Rama 45" followed by part of Tracey's Walking Strong Treadmill workout. Workoout was 1 hour and 20 minutes and I burned 702 calories.
I also did Adrienne Reed's Power Yoga for Athletes 65".
This is the first time I did both of these workouts and Spinervals was an older one ...so again, they don't have stationary bikes being used and I didn't know how high my resistance was supposed to be. I'm going to have to find out how to figure it out from a Spinervals pro with a trainer bike.
The Tracey workout was okay. My TM is an older one, so I had to get off of it to adjust the incline and it only has 3 incline settins. She alternates between walking while using hand weights, doing walking lunges, side walking lunges and faster hill climb sections. At least on the full incline, my HR got up to around 130 which is low-moderate for me. I will most likely try the entire workout on my rest day next week....but it might end up leaving me too sore for a rest day since my body's not used to it.
Have a great day everyone. We are going to the Dollar Theatre later to see a movie something about Kings and Dungeons....I haven't a clue what it's about.
Lisa - I will try more reps with my Sarah Lurie workout next time and see how I feel. My shoulders have been bothering me pretty much since I did the overhead presses....so not sure if I'm going to be able to do them. In that case, should I do side laterals w/ DBs in place of them or just do the swing/clean's? What do you think?? Here we go ahain with my stupid injury! I hate the fact that i have to workout around it! I do have one of the Art of Strength DVDs...but I've been saving it to practice my form with Sarah Lurie first. I bought the Providence one. Which one should I buy next ...FirePower or Newport? I've heard Newport is REALLY hard....and Firepower is in between Newport and Providence.
