Morning Maniacs -

I'm off to do some cardio on my Ellipitical and hopefully a bit of yoga. I don't think I'm going to push it too hard today. I was sick with the stomach flu all day yesterday and it's too early to see just how I feel today. I'll be back later.
 
I ended up doing Cardio Coach 4 on the Ellipitical. My HR ranges went slightly below what they were supposed to. I guess this flu is getting the best of me. Workout was 65"....cuz I repeated a Challenge and I can't remember how much I burned.....maybe around 367? I also did Rainbeau Mars Dawn Yoga for Beauty in hopes it would help my stomach.

I wanted to start my Jillian book circuits tomorrow, but if I'm not feeling better later today, I may put that off and start later in the week.

Have great rest days or workouts everyone. We're going to see The Invasion later today.

Yesterday I rested just like it says on the rotation:) Today is B&G timesaver abs and legs. Tonight my friend is coming over to workout with me we will be doing Imax Extreme!! Lets see how my legs feelx(

Good morning maniacs!

I woke up 3 pounds lighter today then yesterday! I know it was mostly water, but I really controlled my eating yesterday, even at a party. Well, I did have one brownie, but it had PB in it! Who could resist that??!!!
I was to busy with work and the party to WO yesterday, so rest day. Gotta figure something out quickly to do today cuz I have to go to work at 3 today. I am thinking some UB, cuz I feel like lifting. Maybe some abs too. My obliques were pretty sore yesterday.

Lora- please let me know how that movie is. I am interested.

This morning was legs. DID NOT feel like working out this morning. I'm glad this finishes up the first 4 weeks of this rotation, now I get to change up the exercises and I'm ready for the change. May add in some drop sets with the next 4 weeks.

Legs
1:30 rest
Squats - Heels elevated but only slightly (warmup):
65# - 1 set/15 reps
85# - 1 set/12 reps

2 min. rest
Squats - No elevation (working sets):
110# - 8/10/8 reps (same as last week except I upped the reps with 2nd set)
***Last two reps of the last set I felt a not-so-good pull in my right hip area. Scared the crap out of me. I rested, did cobra's, and rubbed it out. It felt fine so I kept going.

Bulgarian Split Squats:
75# - 3 sets/10 reps (same as last week)
***Should have upped the weights for this but didn't want to push my luck with that pain I felt earlier.

Elevated SLDL's:
65# - 1 set/10 reps
75# - 2 sets/10 reps
***Went lower because of the pain I felt earlier. After the first set @ 65# I felt good so I upped the weights

Leg Extensions:
100# - 3 sets/12 reps (up 5# and added 2 reps each set)

No calf work this morning, just didn't have it in me.

It's raining here today and cold. Glad I have no plans of going out today!

Suz - Lots of people want me to compete. I just don't have it in me. And I can't even fathom taking my body to that low body fat range. That's dangerous in my book and I just don't want to put myself in that situation right now.

Randi - I did. I commented on how awesome they were! Thanks for sharing!!

Good Morning Maniacs!!!

Did Cardio Coach 4 yesterday and burned 250 cals. Traveled 2.8 miles. Didn't finish it til end though. I got to get use to the cardio. I feel like I am dying. lol.

Today is my rest day. I am REALLY very very tired. I had a customer yesterday tell me I looked tired. However my paycheck was nice. lol. I put warm green tea bags on my eyes. I am just gonna pamper myself all day long..resting and trying to rejuventate for tomorrow. Tomorrow will be very very busy as I have things to attend to while I work in the am as well. Finding time to eat will be difficult, but I will always manage to find a way somehow...even if I have to take my lunch into the restroom with me and make customers wait for their nasty processed food! lol. This is why I hate working during the day as I eat alot earlier in the day. This is my biggest challenge..NOT TO STARVE!
 
Hello Ladies!

It was a perfect morning for a ride. NO WIND! 71 degrees. But I had cramps. x( I never want to take anything "just in case". But then I always end up getting cramps so why don't I just take the dang ibuprofen to stop them before I get them? Then I'm ahead of the game instead of 2 hours behind it? Sheesh! Will I ever learn? I always think that maybe this month I'm not going to get cramps. Silly me. At least that explained yesterday morning's migraine. :)

ANYWAY...now it's kinda warm, so I think we'll wait until this evening to go for a ride. At least my cramps are gone. Yippeee!

Lora - Great workout for not feeling well. I guess I should have sucked it up.

Diane Sue - That's a bummer about the roads. I should have gone to church since I didn't ride. I've been bad about going lately and I miss going.

Debbie - Well, you can just be our little competitor then. :) Take it easy on that hip. That's scary.

Char - Don't starve to death! And be careful eating it the bathroom. ICK!!! Slight germaphobe here. Not major, but some issues. :p

Afternoon ladies.
Just got last night and tonites w/o in.

I am going to die.
I did GS chest and tri. Omitted the push ups and did chest light.Triceps have never shaken so bad.
I also did back shoulders and bi. I matched Cathe and went heavier on back and shoulders and a little lighter on Biceps. Too much to type out..
Felt good to get a nice heavy w/o in. Just gotta watch the chest.
My tri's are still shaking. OMG. I am going to hurt tomorrow.

Randi, I bet you have fun doing I Max Extreme with your friend. Not many of us have a friend to work out with let alone doing that workout:)

Anne, you are getting those weights in:) Two GS workouts in one day should leave you sore.

Suz, I am guilty of not going to church two weeks in a row. I really did want to go today. Last week was just a "I need rest day" We hardly have those anymore. That alarm is going off every morning for something.

Charlotte, didn't you say before you don't get a lunch break? Or am I remembering wrong. I would stick some broken up nutrition bar or something in my pocket and grab bites. Eating in the restroom is gross. If you do don't touch anything.

Debbie, I hope you do alright after feeling the pull. Good thing you let up.

Maeghan, great job on the weight loss and not getting carried away at the party:)
