Morning Maniacs -

This morning I'm taking a rest day. I did Rodney Yee's Yoga Burn 60". It was a very easy practice. The name is deceiving.

I have an early eye appointment and then my normal Saturday plans.

Have a great workout or rest day everyone.
 
Morning ladies, yes still sick. Popping the vitamins. I am coughing up yellow and green which means casll the dr. I may go to a med 1st on Sunday.I need atibiotics i think. Vitamins are helping some..

Last night i did GSL and some abs. It was all i could hande.It is good to be back to the old weight again. Slow motion lunges about shook my legs off...

Oh, lazy tanning girl. Her mom is my friend. I talked to her yesterday am.She did nothing again. She came to work with her last night.
She had her doing everything, but scrubbing walls. I felt so bad...She was teary...My friend said, she has gotta learn. I am not keeping her all her life.I told my friend . You are scaring me here...LOL...We had just done the displays and she said, i don't care do them again...It was drill seargeant mom...
Not sure what i am doing tonite...
Maybe BSB and legs. Maybe cardio, but not sure if it is a good idea.

I am really jealous you know. I wanted to go to the road trip so bad...Well, maybe 28 people will cancel. NOT...

Oh well. Maybe next year...

I did do drill max leg blast premix and legs from LIC. I am dripping with sweat as I am typin on my computer. I bought some endorush made by BSN from gnc it worked just made makes my heart not slow down!
Have to go to work today 11-5 not too bad then off the next two days!

Hi ladies! I forgot to post my WO from last night! I did GS Chest and Triceps. Did the all the drop sets of push-ups on my toes but still had to double the rest periods to get there. I used 25s for the first time on the bench press but then had to lower my weight to 15s for the flys. Everything else was Cathe's weight.

Lora-LOL on the Yoga Burn! I thought so, too! I had no patience for it!

Randi-Congrats on the RT! Can't wait to hear your stories!

Anne-I don't think that mom was mean...that's good parenting. When I was younger my handwriting was atrocious and I got bad marks for it. My dad made me write all my homework over again until it was readable. (God knows we all don't want to do our work over again, but it's particularly devastating for a kid...no playing with friends until your homework is done.....) That taught me to straighten out pretty quickly....and still today, I have pretty handwriting! :)

Morning Maniacs! Sitting here drinking tea and watching "Vegas Vacation" LOL! Love that show! Not sure what workout to do today. Maybe just some Yoga.

Anne- "Bulgarian Deadlifts" are like what Cathe normally does. Lowering the barbell just past the knees. Legs slightly bent or straight. The other "Dead lift" I do are the kind that you pick the barbell up off the ground each time from a deep squat. Raise up to standing and lower barbell again to the ground in a deep squat.

Wow, this was an exhausting and LONG workout. It took 1 hr. and 40 minutes. I haven't worked out this long since early 2006. It wiped me out. This was Phase 4 Week 8, workout calls for 5 sets/8-10 reps each exercise with a 2 minute rest. This was total overkill if you ask me, but I followed the guidelines. Today was Chest, Tri's & Abs:

Chest:
Barbell Bench Press: 85# - 4 sets/10 reps; 1 set/9 reps
Incline Dumbbell Press: 37's - 1 set/20 reps; 35's - 4 sets/10 reps
Flat Dumbbell Flyes: 30's - 2 sets/10 reps; 32's - 3 sets/10 reps
Decline Dumbbell Flyes: 32's - 1 set/8 reps; 30's - 1 set/10 reps & 1 set/9 reps. **I stopped at 3 sets on this one as I was wiped out.

Triceps:
Close Grip Press: 65# - 1 set/10 reps; 2 sets/9 reps/ 2 sets/8 reps
Lying Barbell Tricep Extensions: 40# - 5 sets/10 reps
Double-Arm Kickbacks: 12's - 5 sets/10 reps

Abs:
Muscle Endurance Abs - **I forgot how excellent this ab workout is, glad I remembered it!

My teeth are hurting again! I think I'm grinding them at night because my jaw hurts in the morning.

Getting Donato's pizza tonight so looking forward to that. Thats my cheat for the week!

Anne - I got those damn taxes to pay too but I don't care. I'm sick of everyone taking my money!

Debbie-WOW! What a killer workout! It does sound a bit over-kill, but then, once in awhile it might shake things up a bit? 5 sets is alot though! Yikes!

Speaking of Taxes, that is what I need to do today. That's one thing that sucks when you have your own business--is keeping track of every little thing for Tax Time. I'm going to the bank and then I'm going to dig in and get my taxes ready for my tax guy. I know I'll owe tons.:(

OH! Forgot to add: My daughter ordered me some Bpal oils off of Ebay. I got 3 limited additions. Hearth, Samhain, and Litha. They all smell good, but Litha is my favorite. Smells like Honeysuckle. I'm not a perfume wearer, so they are very strong smelling to me. I put on a tiny drop and then have to wash it off so I don't get over powered and sick. LOL! I might just use them as a scent for the house, like in Poporri or something.

Finished my workout. I did a 5 mile treadmill run, Amy's abs #2 with some added resistance, then Eion Finn's yoga quickie. Been cleaning up outside after all of the rain.

Anne, sorry you are still feeling sick. I hope you can get some antibiotics and get it cleared up fast. Sounds like you are still busy as usualy:)

Debbie, sounds like a tough workout. I have not been very good about keeping the longer rest periods between sets on it. You lifted some heavy weight for doing 5 sets. I keep trying to figure out a substitution for the cable crossovers.

Dallys - Yes, it was very intense. Only one week of this so hopefully I'll get through it. Last week was only one or two sets, this week they kill you. Oy!!!

Diane Sue - I don't even know what cable crossovers are!!! I've just been substituting flyes for them, usually decline.
 
Dallys - I like Litha a lot too. Another one that came out at the same time and is similiar is Et Lux Fuit. Both warm and golden, happy scents. BPAL does smell strong when you first start using them........then you grow accustomed to them (at least I do).

Deb - you're the woman!! Tough workout. Glad you like your HR monitor.

Speaking of HR's.....does anyone know of a good book to buy on heart zone training? I've heard of one by Sally Edwards I'm thinking of getting. Any other suggestions, comments.......much appreciated.
